Malcom eases forward, wonders if he is special enough for the Butterfly to let him touch her. He thinks she's the most colorful butterfly he's ever seen, and if he could keep her, he'd name her and show everyone how this beautiful wild butterfly loves and trusts him enough to sit on his hand. Malcom's eyes widen and the Butterfly is his world. The Butterfly Effect to the adult world is complex, but to this little boy, it's simple and exciting. It's what happens when you let a simple thing like a Butterfly fill your world.

It all comes together and you loose yourself in it. These two fall in sink, harmonizing perfectly, thinking of nothing else but the sound of the notes, the feel of the bow. Their entire world is this moment and nothing else in the world matters

She looks down at her swollen belly, feeling her child move inside her. She knows that soon she will give birth and life will seem to rush by. In no time at all, her little girl will be all grown up, graduating high school, getting married, having children of her own, and it will all go by in blur. For now, she thinks of nothing else but this moment, with her baby safe inside her, close and connected to her. She cherishes this moment; peaceful and united.

Live nude of a young Chinese woman I drew while living in Zhongshan, China. Through the two and a half years we lived in China, this woman was one of two people who agreed to pose nude for me. Therefore it is rare, and I cherish it.

This is one of my favorites. It captured everything beautiful about her that she never knew was there.

I originally painted this with acrylic on canvas. Everything there is to say about her, she says with her eyes.

That first picture features our cat, Harley. He looks great hanging out with this painting, but he's not for sale. :)
