What a beautiful way to give away your heart.....

*Hand beaded fabric heart made with cotton quilting fabric and backed with denim. Interfaced for extra stability and long wear.

*Beads are freshwater pearls, Japanese glass seed beads, and Swarovski crystals. The heart bead in the center is handmade out of pearlized polymer clay.

*The triple-rope chain is sterling silver and stamped "Made in Italy" on the hook. The clasp is a spring ring clasp.

This is the first of the necklaces I hope to make combining some of my favorite crafting techniques. I am always looking for ways to creatively use my many quilting scraps, and turning them into beautiful pieces of jewelry just seemed natural. I made the polymer clay hearts just to play with this idea of combining hand sewn beads, polymer clay, and fabric. I hope you enjoy the results as much as I do!

The necklace chain measures 19" long.

A handmade silver polymer clay face with hand sewn seed beads and blue goldstone.

*Silver mica polymer clay hand molded face

*Genuine leather backing for strength and durability of the piece.

*Silver-plated glass seed beads and blue goldstone are hand sewn to surround her face.

*The necklace strand is composed of silver beads, goldstone, labradorite, and white jasper.

These face pieces are often inspired by the stones I have in my collection. The blue goldstone is not actually a stone, it's glass. The story is that monks were making glass and small shards of copper accidentally got dumped into the molten glass. Whatever the story, the effect is gorgeous. The blue goldstone has a very subtle sparkle, unlike the brown goldstone, which is quite vibrant.

Her name was inspired by one of my favorite Van Morrison songs:

"It's a marvelous night for a moondance/With the stars up above in your eyes/ A fantabulous night for a romance/ Beneath the cover of October skies"

This double stranded necklace is funky and fun while still maintaining that ever elusive quality of elegance that is always the mark of a true lady (Audrey Hepburn). Fabulous pink opals, faceted and with streaks of green running through are the fabulous, funky part of this necklace. The deep forest greens and raspberries of the fancy jasper exude cool attitude. I'm not lazy - I just love this name! The Lazy Daisy is actually an embroidery stitch used to produce sweet flowers. Each petal of these daisies was hand formed and carefully placed for the best balance of the flower. The petals are each approximately 1/4" (0.5 cm) long and barely 1/8" (0.3 cm) wide - no, I am definitely not lazy! They are accented by a Swarovski crystal and hang from sterling silver earwires.

The earrings hang 1 3/4 " (4.7 cm) from the tops of the earwires, and each daisy is approximately 7/8" (2.3 cm) in diameter.

Measurements are approximate due to the handmade nature of the pieces.

The title says it all - this is an absolutely fabulous necklace. The components of this necklace are so varied that I could make this a hundred times and never come up with the same combination! There are pieces of ruby quartz, faceted blue glass, Czech glass hearts and leaves, Swarovski crystal, Czech glass pearls and chrysocolla. The wirework was all handcrafted and hand-hammered by me. The clasp is a hook-and-eye clasp.

This bracelet started life out as a necklace - I decided I did not like the necklace, and so I turned it into a bracelet. The hand knotted leather cord was the strand of the necklace, but because of the way I had made the necklace, I could not just take it apart. This lead to some serious creativity on my part!

The bracelet consists of different turquoise shapes, sterling silver beads, Swarovski crystals, and pearls. There is a 1.25" extender chain on the 7" bracelet. The extender chain features a Swarovski crystal dangle to help balance the chain and to make it beautiful!

The centerpiece of this bracelet is a piece of African turquoise - a jasper that is dyed and used as a substitute for turquoise. Another substitute is magnesite, which is the beautiful bright blue stone hanging from the links. The other stones include white jasper, smoky quartz, pearls, Swarovski crystals, fluorite, and cloisonne beads. The wirework was handcrafted by me. This bracelet retains its feminine feel despite my eclectic use of materials.

The bracelet measures 7 3/4" (19.7 cm) long and is closed with a lobster claw clasp.

Note: Becuase of the size of the centerpiece, this bracelet fits more like a 7.5" bracelet than a 7 3/4" one would.

Rhodochrosite and iron pyrite are mixed together in these beautifully unique stones. Some of the stones are almost totally pyrite, while others show more of the pink of the rhodochrosite. The pictures don't even begin to do justice to how fabulous these are in person. The stones are on hand-patinated brass wire from PatinaQueen here on Etsy, and the brass chain is from GemmeTresor, also on Etsy.

The necklace clasps in the front with a hand-made hook and eye clasp, and the dangles are also handmade and hand-hammered from the same brass wire. This necklace is made from polymer clay in a technique called Mokume Gane (mo-ku-may gar-nay). It was originally a metalworking technique developed in Japan for swordmaking. There is a form of jasper called African "turquoise" - it is a beautiful substitute for turquoise. However, this braclelet is made of real turquoise and African sandcast glass beads, also sometimes called African Christmas beads. The piece also has pearls,aragonite, Swarovski crystals, and sterling silver beads. The bracelet is double stranded, but the silver beads hold the bracelet together at three points for an extraordinary look. This piece has an amazing amount of texture to it due to the different sorts of beads used.

This is a one-of-a-kind and totally unique pendant. The sunflowers are handcrafted from polymer clay by me and then antiqued with brown and gold acrylic paints. They were glued to suede backing and then glass beads, Swarovski crystals and pearls were hand sewn around the sunflowers to create a warm, garden-like effect. The necklace strands are 17 lb test clear line with Swarovski crystals and Swarovski crystal pearls glued with a high-strength glue to give the illusion of floating along your collarbones. The focal on this necklace is just very cool - I'm not even sure what it used to be or what it's made of. The back appears to be brass, and the etched front may be nickel or silver-plated brass. It is attached to the necklace by silver rings that were glued to the back.

The rest of the necklace is made of reproduction dZi beads, which are based on the amulet beads so prized by Tibetan monks. This polymer clay face was inspired by one of my favorite summer flowers. She is backed with suede and held on the waxed linen cord with 14K gold-filled wire. There are new "jade" and whiskey quartz stones along with Swarovski crystals. There is not much embellishment, because what could outshine her? The face has been antiqued with acrylic paint and had just a touch of gold added for an alluring sparkle. The clasp is 14K gold-filled.

I got the name of this one when I conceived the necklace. Unfortunately, every time I look at this necklace, all I can hear is Frankie Valli crooning "Sherry, Baby" in my head for the rest of the day. :D

The focal pieces are cherry quartz, which is a beautiful glass bead, but the patterns it gets from the making are just as beautiful and varied as if it was a real stone. The "cherries" on the necklace are ruby quartz - you'll find a lot of this dyed quartz throughout our shop. It's exceptionally versatile and much more affordable than buying ruby rondelles. The wirework is brass wire, handcrafted by me. There are also lovely acrylic leaves, Swarovski crystals, and glass pearls.

The necklace measures 19" (48.2 cm) long and is closed with a hook and eye clasp. The wire pieces are curved around the back of the neck for a more comfortable fit. The cherry quartz pendant measures 1 3/4(4.4 cm) long and is 1 1/8" (2.8 cm) wide at it's widest point.

Gold plated maple-type leaves are falling from this bracelet!! Okay, well, not really, but the bracelet is absolutely perfect for autumn. I got all these little leaves in a package of surprise stuff I ordered from one of my suppliers and there were tons of these little gold-plated leaves. I loved them immediately and set out to make a fun and fantastic bracelet with them! The leaves hitting together make the coolest sound without being annoying. Hung from gold-plated chain, this bracelet is sure to bring much enjoyment to it's wearer.
