There are two styles of pieces five different colors.

Each piece is about 1 inch tall and about a half inch wide at the bottom. These pieces are in good shape with some wear on the paint, but it just makes them look more awesome! Also included is a plastic orange dice that is shattering.

These would be excellent additions for any art project.

It's metal die housed in a plastic body. I've only used it a few times, and it works perfectly.

(But, just so you know you can always sharpen your punches by using them on aluminum foil or waxed paper.)

You could use the punch out folder for a million crafts like scrapbooking, card making, altered books, or collage. The punches would even make cute mini-tags.

large Fiskars paper trimmer

$25.00
This is a large-sized Fiskars paper trimmer. It includes a marked metal cutting guide, handle, locking arm, and rotary blade cutter and extra blade.

This cutter is quite large 19.5 x 13 inches - though the cutting area will accommodate a 12 inch piece of paper. Because of the locking arm you can only trim a few pieces of paper at a time. The body of the cutter is plastic, the blade bar is metal, and the guide surface is metal or metal-like.

This is a super nice trimmer - it cost $80 dollars at one time. It works wonderfully, and the current blade is still sharp, just press down on the blade carriage, slide, and you have a perfectly straight cut! It's a great tool for scrapbooking or other paper crafts.

20 Uncle Wiggly game cards

$3.00
This is a little set of twenty very old game cards from a vintage Uncle Wiggly board game. The cards describe your moves using little rhymes and references to the characters in the "Uncle Wiggily" story books. Your moves are "hops" (because Uncle Wiggily is a rabbit).

A few examples of sayings are:
* Alice Wibblewobble helps Uncle Wiggily seven hops ahead because she loves him

*Three Hops more and then you'll see How near Dr. Possum's office you'll be

*Now you've done it! Look right there! Five Hops! But don't fall off your chair!

*Uncle Wiggily has the tooth ache from having gotten his red, white, and blue rheumatism crutch wet, and you lose two turns.

You get a random sampling of twenty, so there's no telling what you're pack will contain. There's quite a few cards so if you want more than one set, just let me know.

Each card is about 1.5 x 2.5 inches and is the thickness of cardstock.

The cards are yellow looking and rather old, but would make great little additions to an altered book, a journal, some handmade cards, a collage, scrapbook, or a thousand other things.

1976 sewing book - Reader's Digest Complete Guide to Sewing

$15.00
1976 edition of Reader's Digest's "Complete Guide to Sewing." This book is a huge, hardcover, 528 page instruction book for sewing. It includes information about machines, fitting, making waists, pleats, sewing buttons, hems, tailoring, pockets . . . and on!

It's really packed full of information, and has instructions for some sewing projects in the back.

This book is enormous, a full 8.5x11 inches, 1.25 inches thick, and hardcover. (It's very heavy, so that's why the shipping rate is so high.)

This book is in good condition with nice tight binding and clean pages. There are some scuffs on the cover, a few dog-ears, and a price written in crayon on the inner cover, and another mark on the top of the pages. Overall, it's nice, though.

And definitely useful for accomplished sewers as well as beginners. The 70's flair doesn't hurt either!
It's in pretty good shape with no loose pages. There are some marked out library stamps, and old tape along the spine and cover corners, for protection.

Some entries include skits and songs about nature, St. Patrick's day, Christmas, and other seasons and holidays.

This might be nice for a home school, church, or public school teacher looking for a play to stage with children. Or you could just use the stories and poems as little inspirations for you art work.
Danmark stamps

$5.00
This handmade vellum envelope holds a little treasure trove of vintage stamps from Denmark. These stamps are truly lovely, with nice muted colors. The actual stamps aren't dated, but I think they may be from around 1964.

Here are the stamps:
1 blue fish stamp - says "Danmark 60"
1 reddish wheat stamp - says "Frihed For Sult, FAO, Danmark 35""
1 green crown stamp - says "Danmark 10 Ore, Postfrimaerke"
2 brown lion stamps - says "1 kr KGL. Post Danmark"
1 blue man stamp - says "Koncelig(?) Post Danmak 60"
2 red crown stamps - says "Danmark 5 Ore, Postfrimaerke"
1 red man stamp - says "Koncelig(?) Post Danmak 35"
6 Niels Bohrs stamps - says "Niels Bohrs Atomteori 1913-1963 Danmark 60"

I recently found an amazing box of old postage stamps. These little pieces of art are so beautiful and full of history. I imagine they were saved by an older lady throughout her life, oldest are from about 1912, and they range up though the 1970's. It's a really cool snapshot of history.

Judging from the other stamps, I believe they had a loved one in the military and that the foreign stamps like these may be a result of their travels.

So, these stamps have been mailed from far away countries. They have postmarks, dates, and some are attached to bits of old envelopes. . . making them even more wonderful!

The envelope is 3.5 inches by 2.25 inches with a little flap. Stamps range in dimension, but are a typical size.

They are perfect just as they are - as a little collection or a bit of inspiration. Or, you could of course use them as an element in your artwork.

There are areas of tan color variation on some of the beads. It's part of the natural shell, but just so you know - it's there.

I don't know much about jewelry or beads, so I'm not sure if I'm omitting anything helpful . . . if you have other questions let me know and I'll try my best to answer you.

These could be nice as embellishments, or for use as sewing trims.
Austria stamps

$5.00
This handmade vellum envelope holds a little treasure trove of vintage stamps from Austria. These stamps are truly lovely, with nice colors and clean engravings - they kind of have a dark feel. The dates I can find on postmarks seem to hover around 1964, though the actual stamps aren't dated.

Here are the stamps:

1 black and white tower of people stamp - says "1S Republik Osterreich, ein jahrhundert arbeiterbewegung" (something about a "one century worker's movement")
1 large yellow flower stamp - says "Kapuziner Kresse, 1s"
1 greenish lady stamp - says "7s Republik Ofterreich."

2 purple castle stamps - says "4s, Hainburg Weinertor"
1 grey bulding stamp - says "20g Morbisch"
1 grey castle stamp - says "1s Mariazell"
2 blue castle stamps - says "1s80 (?) Manzturm Hall i.T."
1 brown house stamp - says "80g Pinzgau"
1 blue arch stamp - says "3s Schweizertor Wien"

$15.00
"Make It Yourself Boutique" by Vivienne Colle

This AMAZING vintage book was published in 1967 and is full of retro-styled sewing and craft projects, with written explanations by Vivienne and illustrations by Mary Suzuki.

Projects include "tunics, tents, jiffy skirts, formal gowns, party pants, jewelry . . . children's fashions; and a variety of clever and decorative accessories for you home."

This books gives you a basic pattern that can be adapted into different styles - "Her 'popover' can be made as a blouse, a street length dress, an A-line shift or an evening gown. . . . however you adapt it, it is the easiest thing in the world to make."

Other projects like "Tablecloth Skirt," "Half-and-Half Skirt From Two Closet Worn Skirts", and "Little Bag to Match Anything From an Old or Inexpensive Bag," show you how to take one thing and turn it into another. (Eco friendly re-purposing!)

The craft area in the back is my favorite as it reminds me of things my grandma used to make - a bleach bottle piggy bank, hot pads from fabric covered bottle caps, and a strange duck-shaped pajama bag.

The quotes are from the intro on the dust jacket, and you can tell by the words that this is a very modish, very retro feeling book.

This book has 255 pages. The dust jacket has seem better days with folds, wear, and ripping, but the book itself is in really good shape with nice tight binding, and only minimal wear at the corners. Pages are clean, and starting to yellow just a bit. This book measures about 5.5. x 8.5 inches.

vintage bowl - Pickled Stripes

$20.00
"Pickled Stripes" vintage bowl with striped lid

Such a funky bowl! The body of this bowl is green, low, round, and kind of squatty with large graceful handles on either side. The lid is striped with white, yellow, and dark green, and has a large grip in the center. The bowl interior is white.

The colors really do remind me of a pickle - that dark green skin, and yellowish interior. . . . Perhaps the white stripe is some delicious pickle dip.

Measurements are roughly 8 inches across the top (not counting the handles), 4 inches high to the top of the lid handle, and 10 inches across (counting the handles).

The exterior of the bowl is really in beautiful shape, no nicks, or any noticable scuffs on the surface. That being said, you can tell this is a vintage piece, not brand new out of the box.

The interior, however, has some brown spotting. I'm not sure what it is, but it reminds me of water damage, there's a picture so you can see what I mean.

The first photo may be a cropped version, please check out all the pictures to make sure you're seeing everything.

Netherland stamps

$5.00
This handmade vellum envelope holds a little treasure trove of vintage stamps from the Netherlands. These stamps are truly lovely, with dark colors and graphic designs. The actual stamps aren't dated, but I suspect them to be from 1963 or 1964.

Here are the stamps:
3 brown boat stamps - says "Nederland 10c"
2 large red lady stamps - says "1 Gulden Nederland"
1 smaller red lady stamp - says "45c Nederland"
1 blue / grey lady stamp - says "20c Nederland"
1 brown lady stamp - says "60c Nederland"
1 purple lady stamp - says "80c Nederland"
1 green lady stamp - says "85c Nederland"
1 man with raised arm stamp - says "Nederland, 30c, 1813-1963" postmarked Holland Festival

I believe these fabrics are pretty old, probably even vintage, though my carbon dating machiene is broken so I can't be sure :-)

There are two pieces of each pattern - Valentine hearts, Halloween skeletons, St. Patrick's Day clovers, and 4th of July flags.

These pieces were sewn in to napkins by my Grandma, so they have finished edges and are ready to be used as napkins or reincarnated into some different and wonderful form.

Napkins are 16 x 17 inches and are a light cotton (I think). Except for the skeleton pieces which are 11 x 13 inches, also this fabric has sewn and fringed edges.

The first photo may be a cropped version, please check out all the pictures to make sure you're seeing everything.

45 big magenta beads

Totally 80's.

These beads are mostly round, but they have been pinched in on two sides. Each bead is very smooth and is made of plastic, though they feel really nice, not cheap at all.
They're awesome.

These are from my grandma's attic, so I believe they're fairly old. And like all old things they're not new-out-of-the-box perfect.

They appear to be colored by a coating over a grey plastic, and I can see a few beads where this coating has a chip, or looks kind of thin (you can kind of see what I mean in the last photo).

Each bead is about 1/2 inch big, roughly the size of large blueberries.

I don't know much about jewelry or beads, so I'm not sure if I'm omitting anything helpful . . . if you have other questions let me know and I'll try my best to answer you.

These could be nice as embellishments, or for use as sewing trims. Of course they'd be great for necklaces, earrings, bracelets, or whatever else you come up with.

The inner paint is uneven in places giving these that nice shabby look.

These beads would be nice for jewelry projects, as little embellishments, or would make a nice trim for any number of crafts.

I keep thinking that this would be a nice thing to have around as you start your Christmas crafts and decorating.

The set includes four ceramic pieces (2 cups, teapot, and a lid) with lightly speckled white glaze and a graphically cool, retro feeling, blue and green stripes.

The tea pot is the size of SUPER JUMBO coffee mug - the body is about 3.5 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep. Mugs are made to stack and are about 2.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches deep. *These measurements do not include handles or spouts.

These pieces are in great vintage shape with only a few little marks, and these are just teeny nicks in the striping. Really teeny.

This is a darling set, perfect for a warm cup of tea, or just to use as decorations in an awesome kitchen. I love these, but as I've said before, my kitchen is tiny, and I just don't have room to keep all of these great things that deserve to be loved and used.

Pages are colored white, blue, yellow, green, grey . . . etc.

This book is not in the most amazing shape. The cover is pretty bad with scuffing and tapee. The inside pages are for the most part nice and clean and flat. Though a couple pages have checkmarks or a title underlined. . . and I saw one page with a spot, and a couple folded corners.

You really could make some sweet retro-styled cards or tags with this, or just brush on your basic life skills. The wire was made by AnderCraft, and the beading was done by someone with a lot of patience.

The beaded portion of wire is about 180 inches long, and there is a large amount of green craft wire underneath that. Wire was made by AnderCraft, and the beads are tiny translucent plastic, green, seed beads.

The spool itself is about 2 inches in diameter, and 1.5 inches tall.

I keep thinking that this would be a nice thing to have around as you start your Christmas crafts and decorating.

The wings are folded paper, and the body feels think, but might be a painted paper of some sort. All ornaments a have a decortive twisted black wire for hanging.

There are three red and three blue in the set. And each bird measures 1 inch by 2.5 inches not counting the wire. They are, of course, paper thin.

These could be nice as embellishments. Maybe they could hang on a branch, a wreath, or just an a piece of rustic twine. Of course you could add them to any craft project, or make something new and fabulous.

The punch itself is quire large (3 1/2 by just over 4 inches) and was made by Mc Gill. I've only used it a few times, and it works perfectly.

But, just so you know you can always sharpen your punches by using them on aluminum foil or waxed paper.

You could use the punch out folder for a million crafts like scrapbooking, card making, or even filing tiny things.

10 saucers - Swiss Chalet dishes

$25.00
"Swiss Chalet" set of 10 dishes

This is a set of ten vintage saucers in the Swiss Chalet pattern. These plates are really very cute!

Each plate is white with a robins egg blue rim, daisies, and navy and green leaves.

Each plate is about 5.5 inches in diameter, and rather flat and shallow for a saucer. My feeling is that they still make great "regular" dishes for desserts and snacks.

These dishes are really in pretty good shape, be aware that these are vintage pieces. They are not brand new out of the box (but that's a good thing, right?).

Here's what I see, though. One dish has a small chip on the rim. Some plates have cracking in the glaze, they're still smooth, it's just lines in the finish like a light webbing. I've seen this same thing on other old ceramics. One plate has a brown rusty look in the center - like a light stain or something(?). Some tiny bumps on the plates, but I think these are from manufacture and not from age or wear.

I just really think this is such a fantastic pattern! I love them, and really hate to part with them, but I'm short on space and they just don't fit in my kitchen. . .
This design really very cute!

This plate is mostly white with a robins egg blue rim, daisies, and navy and green leaves.

The dish has an asymmetrical oval shape, with wider rims on two sides with three groove-like indents. It seems kind of like an ashtray, though it's kind of big, so maybe it's really a different type of dish. I'm not sure.

Each plate is about 8 inches wide by 6 inches wider by 1.5 inches tall.

This dish is really in good shape, but be aware that these are vintage pieces. They are not brand new out of the box (but that's a good thing, right?).

Here's what I see, though. There is some cracking in the glaze, it's still smooth -- just lines in the finish like a light webbing. And there are some small dots here and there, but they're almost nothing.

The bottom stamp says "Hand Decorated / Made in America / Oven Proof / Detergent proof / Underglazed."

I just really think this is such a fantastic pattern! I love these dishes, and really hate to part with them, but I'm short on space and they just don't fit in my kitchen. . .

I think most letters are represented, but I'm a little confused about the b's, p's, and d's, and that sort of thing.

You could use the punch out letter, or the square part with the letter-shaped hole, so it's like a double deal!

8 silky fabric pieces - Far East

$10.00
This is a collection of eight silky fabric remnants in various sizes, shapes, patterns and colors. Every piece is bright and beautiful, with an exotic feel.

You get pieces shown and they range greatly in size from about 53 x 30 (white and pink) to scrap sized. If you have any questions about a particular piece I'm happy to try to answer. Some are just cut so irregularly that it's hard to nail down dimensions.

These are all cutter scraps with strange shapes and sizes, frayed edges, and creases (they just need a little ironing board TLC!).

All fabric is silky and smooth - it could be the world's most expensive silk or a synthetic rayon-type fabric, I'm just not sure. Even so, these fabrics would be so nice for any number of crafts or sewing projects, like little pouches or bags, or they'd even make fabulous book covers.

Just so you know I do have a cat and a dog, but I don't smoke.

These pieces seem to be like new:

*lightweight Denim (this actually feels more like coarse linen) 48x40 inches

*blue and red bandanna print (this could be a a type of linen, it's heavier with a nice texture - I'm not sure) 40x45

The other pieces are smaller, some are from vintage linen cutter packs, others are irregular sized bits and pieces. They're just good-sized, interesting, scraps.

These fabrics would be so nice for any number of crafts or sewing projects, like covering buttons, making pouches or patches, book covers, and anything you come up with.

Just so you know I do have a cat and a dog, but I don't smoke.
