Hang this garland to celebrate your special Valentine!

Each heart is made from two pieces of 100% cotton reproduction and vintage-inspired fabric in many shades of blue, purple, pink and red, fused together and zig-zag stitched in light pink around each edge. One dark pinkish red letter of the phrase "be mine" is printed in a typewriter font on the raw cotton side of six hearts. Ivory satin ribbon joins each heart through copper eyelets.

Each heart measures about 3" wide by 2.75" tall; 11 hearts in all, the garland measures about 58.5 inches across. (note: the third photo is of the back side of the garland)

The letters are printed and heatset with nonfading/lightfast textile color and all fabrics have been prewashed to avoid shrinking and bleeding. Washable/ironable; complete care instructions included in your package!

A set of four tags to hang on your Valentines! On each tag, two fabric hearts are lightly glued onto the cream tag then zig-zag stitched in an "X" pattern with bright red thread. Hearts are cut from 100% cotton vintage and vintage-inspired prints in various reds, blues and pinks. Complete with a place to write your name and that of your Valentine, printed on recycled paper and secured to the back (a little bumpy over the stitches, but it will work!) and a bright red string to tie it on! Tags are 4.25" tall by 2" wide and come packaged in a cello bag.

Susannah Scarf-Purple Allium

Originally designed for my gardener friend Susannah, these lovely little scarves are pretty enough to wear anytime as accessory and durable enough to keep hair and sweat off your face in the garden or on a long hike! 100% raw cotton is block printed with a purple allium flower. The binding and ties are cotton handmade bias tape in a green floral stripe with purple top stitching. The other sides are finished with an embroidered scalloped edge in purple thread. With 54” of tie, you have plenty to tie around your head and in a nice bow at the nape of your neck.

All prints are made from my hand-cut linoleum blocks and printed and heatset with nonfading/lightfast textile color. All fabrics have been prewashed to avoid shrinking and bleeding. Safe to wash and dry in machine or by hand and to iron—complete care instructions included in your package!

Originally designed for my gardener friend Susannah, this lovely little head scarf is pretty enough to wear anytime as accessory and durable enough to keep hair and sweat off your face in the garden or on a long hike! 100% raw cotton is printed with my columbine flower lino-cut in peachy pink. The binding and ties hare soft cotton handmade bias tape in an old fashioned navy bandana print. Top stitching and embroidered scalloped edge on other two sides all done in coordinating peachy pink thread. With 54” of tie, you have plenty to tie around your head and tie in a nice bow at the nape of your neck.

*Though the print in these images is a bit smudged, I can assure you the one you receive will not be (I took a picture of this one b/c it was made when my photographer came over, yours will be made when ordered).

Argyle Notecards, Set of 4--Kraft

These smart notecards are all dressed up! Each card is created by first affixing two squares of some of my favorite leftover fabrics to the blank card with acid-free glue, then stitching over them in a diamond pattern. They’re finished off with a blank piece of vellum stitched over the middle that you could leave blank use for your own greeting (felt tipped markers, like sharpies, work best for this). Cards measure 4.75"x5.5" and are blank inside. The set comes with matching kraft envelopes.

EVERY card is different, so I assemble each set of four with the goal of giving you the best variety of colors and patterns. Most of the fabrics I will use are pictured, but I’m always finding more and playing around with different thread. If there are any colors that you specifically DON’T want, or even if you’d prefer a pack of, say, all blues or all reds/pinks, etc. let me know and I can work it out!
