I love herbs and use them for cooking, tea and healing. I have such respect for organics that no sprays have ever been used on my place for 38 years.

This plant of sage resides across from my front door so
I can see the wide span of green that I enjoy so much.

This has been harvested, air dried and hand sorted by me. The herb is fresher than those on the store shelves.

The bag size is 6" by 4". A little less than 1 oz. in weight.

The herb can be used as a nice tea or liquid as an uplifting scents for a facial massage.
It is said drunk with vinegar it was good for the plague, so remember that in case the plague returns. :)

Do not make the tea too strong as it may be harmful to those who are pregnant or high blood pressure. Use with love and respect.

This watercolor painting is inspired by a card I sent my horse friend back in 1966. I was given it with a bunch of her stuff when she died about 15 years ago.

I just found the card again; loved the idea then and still do today. I will do it in different media and each will be done as an individual piece of art.

Second picture was taken at dusk so it isn't as bright.

Book is written with author's humor, understanding And insight. It is about a girls trials in growing up into an admirable woman.

The book has the signature of previous owner inside, who was a person that I knew well. She was a woman that was raised on a dry homestead in California.

Toots Harlin was the woman who taught me to ride and to use the spade bit. We camped with our horses for one week at the Pinnacles Park in the short, old 2 horse trailer. It rained a lot that spring but it was an experience that I will never forget.

How her nice horse bucks with a quirt under her tail on a bridge and how the mare eats when laying down. How my gelding wanted to swim when we were wading in the lake,(I couldn't do anything about it).

All this comes to mind when I saw this signature, so I want to pass this along to the next owner of the book.

The paper cover is old and a tear is fixed with glue. The actual cover is in good condition but the edges are worn. The pages are all in good condition.

These earrings are in a unique style made more so by the wiring of Czeck Fire-polished beads in between the plastic. They lie in 4 rows, the beads getting more in number toward the bottom.

The beads are called oil slick in Fire Mountain catalog.
Wire is silver colored as are the findings.

Hangs down 2 1/4 inches (5.3 cm).
Is 1 1/8 inches (2.7 cm ) wide at the bottom.

This old paperback had many reprints. Love and adventure in 17th century Virginia. A thrilling story of intrigue and piracy.

The cover is very old and has been torn. The top of the pages look like some critter looked at it but only slightly.

Page 147 was not bound well, but it is in there kind of at an angle.

A lot of gourds take a while to decide what you will put on it. This one didn't take that long, it was finding the pictures I wanted on it. I really wanted the gourd to have Native American art on it to fulfill my dream..

I got the gourd in Michigan and the Milkweed pods. It was done during my recovery from a stroke, so it has a lot of meaning for me.

This gourd has many rock art designs on it and a mountain goat, because I have goats. The top has leather laced, tinted Milkweed pods on top. The gourd has a unique stand made out of sawdust.

Let me give you something that is electronic but Not. These Steam Punk pieces are upgraded for your enjoyment at the office or other places.

These diodes were given to me and I made them into jewelry pieces. Diodes were in computers and other electronic equipment so you can have fun with the recycling of them.

Some blue glass beads complement them and finish the piece.

They hang about 2 1/2 inches ( 6.3 cm) from the earring finding.

I can make them into bracelets too.

Summer cats like heat. This cat loves both the heat and the color of the sun.

Painted the cats with acrylic and then I did a pen and ink drawing, forming their personalities.

Painted front and back with yellow paint, and brown paint around the edge. The first picture is more what the background color looks like. Varnished them to hold the paint.

I cut the gourd out into earring shapes. They are 1 1/4 inch (3.1 cm) in circumference.

I do hope you will enjoy them.

Brown and yellow tom cat is waiting to be fed. I cut the piece out by hand. He has been painted and then I inked in his personality. He isn't sweet at all, but kind of snarky.

The coloring is kind of on the yellow-orange side.
I changed the leather cord (pale white)to one that is darker brown and longer.

He is approximately 2 inches (5 cm) in circumference. The leather cord is about 26 inches (66 cm) long.

Earring Dangle with Copper and Fresh Water Pearls

I had a hankering to make something that really dangles.

There hangs two colored fresh water pearls down from both earrings.
There are four chains hanging down from each.

You will see the ear wires have a mixture of silver colored wire and copper. The top of the earring is gold colored bead cap and the chains are copper. Very attractive.

From the ear wire down, these earrings are a almost 3 1/2 inches ( 8.8 cm) in length.

Picture #5 isn't the best but with the breeze it was the best for now. You can see basically how the pearls look.

Loving the sea is a way of life. Some do skin diving or surfing, and others explore the depths...I just enjoy the surf and listen to the sound of the ocean deep in quiet contemplation.

This necklace with a large turquoise nugget is wire wrapped with beads that are glass and chips of tiger's eye and garnets.

Bead chips of turquoise line the chain giving this a refined feel.

The chain has a toggle clasp making it easy to hook.
The pendant hangs approximately 12 1/2 inches (31.8 cm) down from the neck.

This unusual necklace was inspired by all the punching I was doing with the dry felted ACEOs.

The beads I wrapped with corriedale wool and put Mod Podge on them. Wood and acrylic beads fill in.

The pendant was felted by punching in through the wire and then Mod Podged. It was interesting experiment for me to do.

The necklace is 25 inches long and the pendant is 1 1/2 inches across the front.

This necklace was an experiment using fiber beads I made. The piece is asymmetrical.

There are pink quartz beads and a bead offset to make more interest. There are heart clasps that interlock.

On the inside of the fiber beads there is blue jeans material and I wrapped the outside with wool that I bought from a team member (http://YarntoSpin.etsy.com ) for felting. It was then Mod Podged.

A nice way to recycle and to use nature.

Necklace and Pendant Copper Swirl

The pendant is an experimental finding filled with a white ceramic bead and surrounded by blue and garnet Czech fire-polished beads.

I enjoyed doing this because it was the first time I had seen it done. I am an experimenter that hates doing the same thing over and over. That is why you see on my site so many unique items.

I wire wrapped the piece with the copper, graceful swirles, that are on the outside and finished all with a copper chain.

Chain is 23 inches long (58.3 cm) with toggle clasp...the pendant is 1 3/4 inches long (4.3 cm) and 3/4 inches wide.(1.8 cm)

I love wire wrapping and making stuff from other things that are useful but not for me. I am inspired to do something different, not so predictable.

The metal pendant is copper wire wrapped. On the inside lies 3 rows of Turquoise colored Howlite stones and Czeck fire-polished faceted Rondelles. There is a real Turquoise in there too.
It is a novel way to have a pendant and eye catching.

The pendant is 2 1/4 inches (5.7 cm) long and 1 inch (2.5) wide.

Horse light switch cover

I have made the switch covers because I have to decorate everything I get my hands on. LOL
I make these scenes up in my head, but it has a basis on fact. I had a pinto horse once and the tortoise is next door and comes visit me every once in a while.

It has a cream base that shows up as white on my computer. So take that as an advisement. It is plastic.

This lightswitch is from a post card I designed.
I am all for simple lines. The bird are those I see lots of: being I am on a river bank.
The birds are yellow; I want to see them that way.

I painted them with Lumocolor permanent markers. Then it is sprayed with varnish for extra safety in cleaning.

Green stone adjustable necklace
This pretty green donut is from a stone that looks like moss agate, however it is lovely anyway. It reminds me of walking through a deep forest and coming up on ferns that happen to be growing there.

The base is a really dark green with light green coming through. Two beads are attached to the brown cord and the cord is adjustable in length. 30” (78.2 cm) at the longest, 22” (58 cm) at the shortest.

This shepherd is playing music for his herd. It is boring just to watch the sheep unless there are predators near by and you have to fight them off. So a little music passes the day nicely.
