A beautiful thing to drink out of. Vertical Blue stripes flow down over a deep amber matte glaze. The lip, undulating and divided in 4, is perfect for drinking. While drinking from a seam corner, a friend of mine called the experience "almost erotic". Some people opt to use this form as a small flower vase, and you may do that-I will not be offended! This one has some pretty incredible diamond-polished drips on the underside - Check out the bottom picture!

This piece was hand thrown and trimmed on a potter’s wheel. It was then cut into many pieces, the edges smoothed with a sponge, then reassembled to yield the lines seen on the inside and out. Made from midrange porcelain, it features bright vibrant colors, high durability, and a reduced environmental impact. What to get for the person who has everything?

How about this incredible vase? Designed to resemble the head of a flower, standing upside-down, this vase is truly unique. Created through a complex process of repeated disassembly and reassembly, this vase defies logic. To those who are familiar with the working properties of porcelain, it seems impossible, it almost defies the laws of physics!

Standing 10.5 inches tall, it's opening is 3 inches wide at the lip.

Green Curve Cup and Saucer Set

Saucers make the whole experience of drinking coffee or tea so much better, more luxurious. More than simply catching the errant drip before it hits the table, saucers make the act of drinking more tactile, more pleasurable. After many attempts, I have finally figured out how to make the perfect saucer for my curve cup in exactly the right way. The cup is designed with a very comfortable 2 finger handle. A curving pattern undulates around the perimeter, visible inside and out. Glazed in a two tone green color scheme, and interplay of satin matte and high gloss surface make this set a tactile and visual pleasure to behold.

All of my work is first thrown, then completely cut apart and carefully put back together to yield a structural decoration, visible on the inside and outside. The glaze acts as the glue to hold these pots together. Although they may appear to be quite fragile, the glaze chemistry has been mastered, resulting in a very durable pot. Dishwasher and microwave safe, but I recommend handwashing all handmade pottery, simply because it is so much more precious than that industrial stuff.

This cup will hold about 12 Oz.

Yunomis are small drinking vessels also known as teabowls. They are often used to drink hot tea from, but I have found that they are also a fantastic vessel for cocktails or wine as well.
