This little guy was created with "baked dips" in mind. It can be used hot or cold but I added a handle so carrying it straight from the oven is abit safer.
The glaze is a satin finish pale green with some "yellow" undertones...reminds me of spring.
The piece measures 5" across the middle and stands 2.5" high.

This bowl is such a great size. Wonderful for using with dips, hummus, soup, or nuts. Thrown on the wheel, altered and then glazed in a unique olive green color. Sometimes the green shows clear, other times milky and every now and again where the glaze is thicker it turns a baby blue...gorgeous display item when not in use.
The piece measures 5.25 inches wide, 3 inches deep. Holds approx. 1.5 cups.

I'm trying to get my mind to the sun and sand even if my body is stuck in the cold and snow...this glaze color reminds me of the beach. It has sandy undertones with small amounts of light blue where the glaze pools. If you put your ear to it I think you can hear the ocean!!
On a more practical note, this little dish can go from oven to table and then straight to the dishwasher.

I was trying to forget about the cold and snow...started working on a set of floral casserole dishes to ease my way into spring. Funny thing was, as soon as I saw them finished, I immediately thought of the Partridge Family bus!! Took me right back to the 70s...
On a more practical note, besides being bright and cheery this little dish can go from oven to table and then straight to the dishwasher.
It is handbuilt, stamped, painted with slip and then slip trailed before the first firing. Then dipped in a satin, clear glaze before it is fired a second time. The clay has a tiny bit of grog in it, giving it a bit of a speckle where it hasn't been painted.
This piece holds approx. 4 cups and measures 3.25" tall and 6" across the opening (approx. 9" from handle to handle)

This bowl is such a great size. I like to use it for dips, hummus, soup, or nuts. Thrown on the wheel and then glazed, the inside and outside top half are glazed in a glossy black color and the bottom half on the outside is a matte taupe/beige/brown color. Not quite as dark as "brown" but maybe not as light as some people think beige/taupe is...
The piece measures 5 inches wide, 2 inches deep.

I am the eternal dieter. It seems like I am always measuring my food and leading a life of cottage cheese and yogurt. I thought it might be nice to have my own set of bowls so my 1/2 cup of food didn't look so pitiful in the bottom of a larger bowl. Turns out it was a great idea...

This bowl holds a little over one cup. Perfect for making your food look less lonely in the bottom of the dish!!
It also has a squared shape to the rim making it suitable for display when not being used.
It has been glazed in an olive green color that changes from milky to clear where it thins...and turns baby blue in very thick areas. Really beautiful to look at. The piece measures 5" x 2.5 tall and holds just over one cup of liquid

This is what I like to refer to as "simple, yet effective". No bells and whistles needed, it's the creamy, oatmeal glaze that makes the bowl stand out. The flecks of brown are abit more condensed on the inside bottom...subtle...but nice.
It's a great size for serving veggies and a great color for it too. Your greens will never look better!!

This fun little item can have different uses. I use mine for a planter, but there's no reason you couldn't keep it out for utensils or even a "catch all".
