I can't believe this print. I wish, I wish it fit me but I've hoarded it for ages, it's just not going to happen. Time for this to get worn.

Full length A line, sleeveless dress. The waistline is defined with a shaped, topstitched seam slightly above a natural waist.

Condition: There is slight fading in the underarms from sweat. This won't show when you have it on. No other obvious signs of wear.

Label: There is a union label at the back hem, Made in Canada. Main label is Windsor Dress, 100% Polyester, Size 11, 12.

70's Sleeveless Maxi Dress

This is a full length floral print maxi dress from the 70's. It has a bit of an Asian feel with a mandarin collar and the blossoms in the print. A high waistline is emphasized with a point that comes together just below your rib cage outlined in a rose coloured top stitching. The skirt is A line and full at the hem. I believe it is polyester but it is not marked, that portion of the label has been cut out.

Condition: There is slight discolouring in the underarm, it's totally not noticable. Other than that there are no other obvious signs of wear.

Made entirely of Jacey Bogg's hand spun yarn the sweater was worn for the shoot, cleaned and returned to me. It's been hanging out in my studio for over a year now and really, this bit of indy culture needs to get out and see the world.

I wear about a size 12 in the pictures taken. Unstretched the measurements are as follows

There's lots of room for this sweater to stretch. As you can see in the link the band member who wore this is signifigantly bigger than me.

This soft grey dress was a prototype I used to work a pattern out for some bridesmaids dresses. The bride wanted a bubble skirt like on this dress. So often people can't picture the reality of what they are asking for so I often make quick prototypes. She decided against the bubble hem but was thrilled with the bodice structure.

The bodice is boned with spiral steel boning in an interlining support. This interlining is attached to an belt inside that holds everything in place. This dress isn't going anywhere! I also did one of my favourite things, lined it with a gorgeous print. This is a well made dress, any seamstress will be able to tweek the fit if you need it.

There are just too many of these great garments around my house that need to go to someone to be worn and loved. Time to clear out!

Pretty In Pink is a softly textured wool and acrylic wig. Varied pinks with just a touch of sparkle and a bit of a green variegated into one wool makes the texture just fabulous. This wig measured 17” from the top of your head to the end of the longest strands.
Fibre content: Acrylic, Superwash Wool, Alpaca, Nylon
My wigs are all one of a kind. Every strand is hand knotted onto a hand knit skull cap. The cap is stretchy and is one size fits most. The cap is open enough that you can easily pin through the wig to your natural hair below. The wigs are light and airy and completely comfortable to wear all day or night. Whether flitting with the fairies or thrashing in the pit these wigs will stay put! If needed they can be washed with a gentle soak in the tub with a no rinse wool wash and hung to dry. You can also pin up the wigs in pigtails or pull them back. I recommend staying away from elastics though as they tend to get caught and pull the fibres .
I ‘sign’ all of my wigs with a bee bead hidden in among the strands. Where will yours be?
