This is a print of a "reworked" photo i scanned from a vintage book. in the picture i pasted an image of one of my slobots standing in front of the Bauhaus building.

This comes in black and white, sized 8"x10" professionally printed on matte photo paper with a white border all the way around. It would look great in a Mod or Futuristic themed room, or maybe to brighten up your desk or cubicle at work. It is packaged un-matted in a cello bag with a cardboard backing for support and will be signed in the lower right corner by the artist.

this is one of my series of small slobots called "SLOBOTNIKS". slobotniks are tiny robots that inhabit all the places you would need a tiny robot.

they especially enjoy cleaning nooks and crannies in your house, though you will never see them do it. i think they clean when we sleep, but the problem is, they aren't very good at their jobs... oh, well... at least they are cute.

This one is black on black with silver hands, white "face", and a glow in the dark BELLY! he is one of a kind, as the head and backpacks on each of this are made one at a time.

he stands just at 1.75", and is suitable for a desk, a shelf, or a ride in the car, BUT IS NOT CRAFTED FOR KIDS or PETS :)
he has small pieces that are probably a choking hazard!

that said, he loves you and wants to come home...

and, less there is any confusion: "LEGO® and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this product."

hey there...

this is another one of my one of a kind robot sculptures. This listing is for the SPHERE shaped head. The 2nd GRUNMICRO in the last pic is listed spereately. His story goes like this: "The GRUNMICRO series of Slobots were created in the late 1960's as a German to English translation robot. The only problem is, they tend to be a bit mischievous, frequently giving intentionally improper translations, and spending in ordinate amounts of time updating their Facebook accounts with weird inside jokes. Nonetheless, they are seeking new friends..."

Slobot GRUNMICROs are each one of a kind, custom 3" Toy2r Qee figures with found objects and other re-purposed bits used in their creation. They are a lovely green color with neon yellow wires and glow in the dark wire connections.
This figure is suitable for a desk, a shelf, or a ride in the car, BUT IS NOT CRAFTED FOR KIDS or PETS :)
he has small pieces that are probably a choking hazard!

This is a one-of-a-kind slobot original, not a print. prismacolor and ink on acid free watercolor paper. It is a depiction of a happy robot enjoying some time in the sun. Why would a robot spend time in the sun? Recharging, I guess. It seems like he might have had a little TOO much Vit-A or Vit-D or something, as the sky and grass appear to be shifting colors.

The drawing will come to you in an upcycled frame, under glass mounted on black acid free paper and signed and dated by mheisler (that's me!). actual drawing size is app. 9" x 12", the silver frame measures approximately 14" x 17" x 1.5", comes ready-to-hang with hardware on the back and has been intentionally weathered in keeping with my slobot theme.

i am a robot artist, creating my own brand of robots, called the "slobots". i have been turning munnys, dunnys, qees and other toys into robots for some time now. i have been known to recycle other things, like bowls, boxes, and plastic bottles into robots as well.

so, what is this listing?
this is a chance to get one custom, one-of-a-kind slobot created from a Kidrobot 7" Munny for yourself. you get to choose the main color (red, blue, pink, plum, yellow, orange, lime green, teal, or let me surprise you), and pair it up with either black, silver or grey. look at the example images for the way this works out, and how the final product looks. there are plenty of examples of my work on my website at http://www.slobots.com.

each slobot comes out a little different, making them unique. i use various pieces of things from my everyday life, and also traditional artist materials, to craft a one-of-a-kind slobot sculpture. then i give it a very sturdy clear coat and send it off to its new home.

PLEASE NOTE: custom munnys take between 2-4 weeks to complete, as there is quite a bit of rework in my sculptures, and then shipping time to you. if you need this item for a gift or for a certain date, please let me know and we can try to work something out.

this is a heavily modified 8" Zakkamono Miao. The Miao is a character based on a Chinese Lucky Cat. See last pic for what it looked like before i turned it into a slobot. It was created for a recent art show in San Diego.

this is my slobot named: "Martian Orange Tree Herder"
he is a customized 8" Cre8tive Peeples figure. This slobot has a bright orange head, a green glass eye, some black light and glow in the dark parts.

his story: "A curious thing happened when the first Orange trees were planted on the Martian surface. The orange trees grew into a hybrid plant / animal, in so much, that, during growing season, the orange trees began to migrate from field to field. i mostly paint and sculpt my slobots these days, but today i started thinking about mars. now, my slobots have been on mars for awhile, some being farmers, some owning convenience stores (for more on that, you'll have to check my website - http://www.slobots.com). anyway, i started thinking about what the martian flowers must look like, and here is the result.

this is a heavily modified 8" Kidrobot Dunny that was completed for a recent show.

Name: SLODUNNY SERV02
Type: Heavily customized 8" Kid Robot Dunny, Aluminum arms and legs, positionable ears and arms. Approximately 16" tall

Story:
SERV02 was created for espionage and domestic spy work. He quickly tired of the duplicitous nature of his job and despaired even of living. Once, on assignment, he met and befriended several humans, realizing a love for humans and a joy in life he was missing. Coincidentally, SERV02 met Junky Jim, the "Ice Cream Tycoonin the Stars" and was offered the chance to purchase an astronaut ice cream shop on Venus. SERV02 had himself repainted a nice ice cream friendly shade, put a down payment on his new ice cream shop and is presently on his way to Venus. He plans on using his talents in espionage to predict a Venusian's favorite flavor of ice cream.
