This is the base to hold the tool.

The base is designed to hold a beadroller at approximately a 30 degree angle. This allows you both hands free for holding your mandrel and glass rod, and still be able to use the tool, with easy access to pick the tool up for refining your work.

Disclaimer:
Due to the thinness of the graphite ‘teeth’, extra caution is recommended. However, if the ‘teeth’ do become chipped, the tool will still function as designed.
In other words, don't be afraid to roll molten glass on it, but don't go throwing it around and expect it not to chip, it's graphite, not brass.
