This little purse was hand woven from alpaca yarn from our own alpacas on our farm. The woven purse was then felted for a great fuzzy look and feel.

The bag measures about 10 inches by 7 inches, shiny black handles. Fun!!

Alpaca Socks - Mens

These socks are from fleece from our own alpacas on our ranch in New Mexico. The fleece is sorted, and the socks are mill spun and knit, with 10% nylon for extra strength. Natural colors from our animals are combined so the finished socks are a wonderful heather.

These socks are a mens size 10-13, with a short crew. They are a favorite with local cyclists - keeps feet dry even in our summer heat. Warm in winter of course, and those who can't wear wool find alpaca comfortable.

I wash them in cold water in the washer and they go in the dryer.

This roving is white, it is not a bright white, and dyes very beautifully. Alpaca will take color more richly than wool for your painted yarns. Ask me about other colors available. Spins like a dream; needle or wet felt as well for superb results.

Loom knitting doesn't limit you to hats or round things - the felted green purse pictured was done on a round loom as well! Just knit back and forth on the loom instead of going all the way around and you have flat knitting.

The loom measures 10 5/8 inches across with 41 pegs, and the pegs are spaced 3/4 inch apart.
