A little birdhouse on a birdhouse welcome sign. I covered the petite birdhouse in 1940's china with a gold-plated pattern and the roof I cut out of a jadite color stained glass. There are vintage faux pearls around the entry in pastel green and pink. The birdhouse body I covered in a very dimensional lacy vintage china, vintage rose china, faux pearls, and vintage enameled metal pink roses. The Welcome letters are from a fellow Etsy artist. I painted the sides of the sign to match the stained glass roof. Has a strong wired hanger and is ready to hang. It measures 15 and 3/4 inches tall.

An antique chair that I first enameled in pastel pink, then covered in vintage china and vintage pearls, and added a few vintage pink lucite cabs. Very detailed, with a lacy edge of 22 Kt gold trimmed china. The grout is sealed. This is a chair meant to be used, functional art- the pieces lay flat and are smooth. It is sturdy. Stands 20 inches tall.

A footstool or small white wooden table perfect for your flower pots. The base is white and I painted a parchment color on the top. I used a 1940's Homer Lauglin roses china for the focal point and surrounded it with broken vintage china from the 1930's and 1940's. The white grout has been sealed and the piece is very sturdy. It is also adorned with 2 little ceramic rose hearts that I bought from another etsy artist :-)

Small pink rocking chair that I accented in broken china mosaics. I did a focal top in shades of white vintage china surrounded with swirls of white glass pearls. I drilled a spot for each of the pearls to secure them in the wood. The center is a vintage pink rose. The seat has a china "doily" made of lacy white china and filled with broken rose pottery by Vee Jackson. Perfect as a corner piece or to display a doll, teddy bear, or use as a plant stand. Measures 26 inches tall.

I took a 1970's brass chandelier apart and enameled it in pastel pink. Then I filled it with crystals and bobeches. I covered the base of the chandelierin vintage glass pearls and rose china. The glass pearls are in shades of soft pastel green, pink and white. The chandelier measures 18 inches across, is a little over 12 inches tall, with a 21 inch chain. The pink ceiling canopy has a glass covering.

A mosaic creation for chocolate lovers. I cut and routered the wood board and then painted white. I wrote Chocolate
in vintage glass pearls and then added pink Kokomo stained glass and broken china. There are 2 clusters of vintage porcelain roses that were formerly earrings (the screw backs of the earrings were damaged, and the porcelain roses were intact and beautiful). The porcelain ad is from a Whitman Chocolate display plate. Measures 16 and 1/4 inch across by 5 inches tall. (it is shown sitting on top of one of my other mosaic pieces)

This is a vintage cottage white cabinet door with old hardware and a steel sheet in the center. I covered the cabinet with vintage broken china and swirls of jadite stained glass. I added iridescent robin's egg blue glass and some enameled metal flowers and a butterfly. I drilled holes and the enameled pieces are on wires mounted into the wood. I made 4 magnets out of vintage rhinestone pins- the pins are from the 1940's and 1950's. The pins were not harmed- they can be removed from their tiny magnets and enjoyed as pins, too.
A cottage style magnet door, a message center that measures 15 and 1/4 inches tall.
It is ready to be hung.

I had fun making these. I made the mold first- so the form is made of cement. I coverd them in a perfect dark chocolate glass and topped 2 with lucite cherry beads (complete with a tiny red rhinestone) and one with a pearl cab decorated with lavender rhinestone sprinkles.
I made them a bit too big to fit in these cupcake papers, so I flattened out the papers to use as a backdrop for the photos. These would be cute on dollies, too. The bottoms measures 2 and 1/8 inch across and they are about 1 inch tall. Price is for the full set of 3.
I am a faux cupcake cakes fan, and wanted to try a mosaic version of the art.

Cottage Chic Mosaic Mirror Wall Decor

This is a small mirror made of repurposed vintage parts. The foundation is metal from a lamp base, which I enameled white. I added a vintage mirror from a broken compact from the 1930's and broken china and yellow stained glass. There is a 1940's floral pin (without it's back) secured to the front with silicone. This little mirror was designed to brighten a space by reflecting light. Measures 5 and 1/2 inches across. Hangs by a yellow ribbon that matches the stained glass.

I painted a vintage folding step ladder in robin egg blue. Then I covered the top of the piece in vintage rose china and swirls of jade stained glass. I surrounded the top in pastel pink glass. The steps have a vintage swiss dot look with the very subtle blue/white glass gems. I used a latex additive in the grout for durability and I sealed the grout. This 2 step stool folds up, too. Perfect as a plant stand or perched in a corner.
