This print is taken from one of my original paintings. The actual painting is a long skinny piece with six houses on it; this print is just a small segment with two shingled houses painted blue and olive.

These houses are located in the Kitsilano area of Vancouver in British Columbia, really nice character heritage homes that are painted in the most fun colors and exciting trims.

The actual print is on 8.5x11" Illford Fine Art Pearl Paper giving it a slight sheen. It is archival and will not fade. The image is 10.75x7.25" leaving a small white border for framing purposes.

These little houses are in the heart of Kitsilano, a really trendy place for Vancouverites to live. Lots of bustling shops on Broadway and West 4th Avenue filled with glorious trinkets, wonderful clothing stores, bakeries, everything you can imagine.

My friend mia lives right down the road from these houses, every time I go to visit her, I can't help but salivate, knowing that one day I would have to paint them. And of course that time has come.

This little house print is taken from an original painting I created. It is printed on 8.5x11" Illford Fine Art Acid Free Pearl Paper, giving it a slight sheen. It has a slight white border and the actual print is 7.25x10.72" - perfect for framing, or leave it in the protective cellophane sleeve it will come in. Don't worry, it will not bend in the mail, an acid free backer board will come with the print as well.

It's just another day in the neighborhood.

Vancouver has some of the most beautiful heritage homes with stunning color combinations. I meandered through Kitsilano and took tons of pictures, came home and painted the beauty of them.

The architecture of Europe is quite phenomenal. Amsterdam, in the Netherlands has some of the most wonderful old structures, with so much character and charm. I was drifting down the canals snapping photo after photo. This print is from an original painting, a compilation of pictures I've taken, one building from one photo, another from a different photo.

I used to live on Vancouver Island, in a very small time, the area that we used to live in was a huge salmon fishng mecca - The Conuma River is one of the biggest salmon spawning areas. We used to head out to the river after driving quite a while on a long gravel road and watch the black bear feeding on the salmon. I would take dozens of pictures of the wonderful sighs.

This particular image is from a day I spent out at the river, the sun shone through the trees, reflecting off the rivers surface, it was a wonderful day.

Painted entirely with my fingers on 5x5" Acid Free Paper, this little image is ready to frame. I like to float these little pieces on matte board so that even the edges are visible. Hung in a big chunky black frame and in a series is a wonderful way to display this little series of Vancouver Island.

Tuscany is one of the most beautiful places in the world with it's cobble stone narrow little streets, quaint little shops filled with baked goods, fresh fruits and veggies, flowers and wonderful shiny trinkets. Cafes and little restaurants are in abundance, and the place is amazingly charming.

But you don't have to go there, you can look at a little piece of Tuscany in this little original painting. Sit back on your sofa with a glass of wine, and imagine you're there.

Pears resemble the female body. That's why so many artists love to paint them, and photographers love to take pictures of them. They are curvy, beautiful, and delicious - just like a woman.

I used to live in a little town on Vancouver Island called Gold River, it was a small town - the closest larger town was Campbell River, 89 kms away, along a long and windy highway. Although difficult to travel, the highwasy was incredibly scenic, and often I would get out of my car, admire the sites and take photos in order to paint later.

This painting is one of those scenic times - The Campbell River.

Painted on 5x5" Acid Free paper, it is ready to frame. I paint these little paintings entirely with my fingers, and do a resist technique over top. The colors are of autumn, greens, yellows, browns and orange.

I usually float these little images on matte board and hang in a thick chunky frame. If you would like assistance with framing, I can help you with that as well.

These beautiful tulips are from a wedding bouquet. The shades of the pinks and whites were stunning. Tulips are such vuluptuous flowers, succulents, filled with water.

Painted on acid free paper, 5x5" and ready to be framed. They are painted entirely with my fingers, I lay the color down with Oil Pastel, do the blending with my fingers, and then paint on the black resist. It's a method I figured out myself.

Ready to be framed, or leave it on it's own.

Commissions of wedding bouquets, or a bequtiful bouquet of flowers is possible as well. Please convo if you are interested. Price will vary on the size.
