This sparkling brooch has four large tear-drop rhinestones, one on each "corner" with a rectangular faceted stone in the center and several smaller stones making up the outer and inner space.

The piece is signed House of Schrager/ Fifth Avenue on a oval on the back lower left side. This designer used that hallmark from 1925 to 1959.

Piece is in great shape, stones have a cloudy defect to them though- specks of grey in all of them, some more than others.

The American Brilliant Period in cut glass history began around 1850 and lasted into the early 1900s. Immigrants helped supply glass houses in the United States with skilled cutters allowing them to develop a product rivaling European cut glass. Prior to that time, most cut glass pieces were produced in England, Ireland and France.

The dish measures 9.5" long and is 4.5" wide.

There are chips on some of the teeth along the rim but otherwise in wonderful condition. Looks to be a very early piece.

This lovely bowl is an unmarked excellent example of the pulegoso technique of adding bicarbonate to a glass mass to make gas for zillions of tiny frothy bubbles.

Most likely this is Italian Murano glass.

This Pretty silver tone "pot metal" brooch has four etched flowers with leaves and surrounded in an oval frame.

It is marked LN/25, which stands for "Little Nemo". (The mark was first used in January 1913, and belonged to the Brier Manufacturing Co., that was located in Providence, Rhode Island. )

Lovely, Antique French Chalkware sculpture of a girl with her dog.

Very nice condition with some pitting typical with these pieces.

Stands approx. 9" tall.

Chalkware is a term that refers to decorative items made out of gypsum, which were very popular from the late 18th century through the 1930s. Gypsum is a mineral compound also called sulphate of lime, which is usually found underground near limestone deposits. Raw gypsum is a pure white crystal called alabaster. When gypsum is heated, the resulting white powder is called burnt gypsum, also known as Plaster of Paris for the large gypsum deposit at Montmartre in Paris. Ordinary schoolroom chalk is also a form of burnt gypsum. Gypsum is easily cast into sculptures and decoration for frames, but is quite soft and breaks easily.

This stunning brooch is made up of 15 arms of glittering rhinestones. There are 5 green arms, spaced with two rows of clear between each. A large faceted green stone adorns the center. The brooch is rounded and stands out beautifully on a jacket, gown, or whatever you'd like to pin it to!

Signed "ART" for Art Mode Jewelry Creations Inc. This company was founded in the late 1940s and continued until the late 1960s. I believe this piece is from the late 40s- 50s.

In Very Excellent condition- no loose stones. One is missing on the very edge and cannot be seen form the front. all stones are sparkling and clean.

This truly beautiful necklace is made of vintage blue and clear glass. The necklace splits into three strands.

Pair of Nineteenth Century 1850-1870 Old Paris French Porcelain plates.

These sweetmeat or relish dishes measure 7.75" long and are 5" wide. Both have a lovely molded shell design, handpainted in pink with a yellow, black, and pink design between the shells.

One dish in excellent condition. The other does have a crude restoration at one end. It appears to have been chipped and painted over on three of the ridges at the end of the plate. Still a lovely and valuable piece.

There are some small chips along the bottom edges of the holder, but nothing that would distract from the beauty of this set. The shakers are in wonderful condition and have the original metal lids.

This delightful cottage shaped cookie jar was made by the Sierra Vista Company in Pasadena California ca. 1950's

The cookie jar stands approx. 8.5" tall with the lid on.

The base is 6/25" square.

Condition: Very Good There is overall crazing on the piece which is so typical on pottery of this age. There is also a very thin 1" hairline crack at the rim. Very minor paint wear, mostly where the lid meets the base. All colors are still bright and vibrant.

Lovely gold tone sterling in a Victorian pattern surrounds a black center piece. Has a pin back as well as a loop for a chain.

The center black piece is very shiny and the white marks are not defects, just fuzz left over from cleaning it!

This is marked "MFA" and "STER" on the back, as far as I've been able to discover, this piece is a museum replica from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

This interesting necklace is made up of 5 rhinestone leaf-like links. In beautiful condition but some of the rectangular rhinestones on the links missing. I didn't even notice many of them until I looked very close, that is why we have dropped the price! The settings of the stones are silver-covered and it is hard to tell that the small stones are gone.
