As a tribute to it's place of inspiration, this necklace is dedicated to the ancient Celtic goddess Brigid - the goddess of all things high such as high-rising flames, highlands, hill-forts and upland areas; and of activities and states conceived as psychologically lofty and elevated, such as wisdom, excellence, perfection, high intelligence, poetic eloquence, craftsmanship (especially blacksmithing), healing ability, druidic knowledge and skill in warfare. Brigid is truly a first lady of style and all things important.

The heart of this unique one of a kind beaded bracelet is clear crystal medallion etched with three Hebrew words with immense Kabalistic symbolic meaning: three of God’s names. According to the Kabbalah, these Names has to power to invoke God’s help and protection:

מהש (Mem, Hey, Shin) invokes physical and mental healing;

אלד (Aleph, Lamed, Dalet) invokes protection from the evil eye;

סאל (Samech, Aleph, Lamed) invokes plenty.

This beautifully designed bracelet is a strong meditation tool, helping you to focus your hopes and prayers for yourself and for others. It is advised to think also of others while meditating with these words.

The central Kabalistic medallion is circled with sparkling light sapphire Swarovski rivoli cabochons embellished with light blue Swarovski pearls. The bracelet closes with a beaded clasp. This jewelry has various dazzling shades of blue and white, which are the traditional colors of the Talit - the Jewish prayer shawl. In certain angles you can see a golden light reflects inside the central medallion.

My grandmother Roza was a very important person in my life: she taught me to knit and opened for me that wonderful world of handmade.

For her 70 birthday, we had bought her a fresh water pearls necklace and she wore it for many occasions. My grandmother had passed away in Noveber 1994.

So it is only fit that my piece for the November Challenge of Etsy Beadweavers Team "Ancestral Expressions" will be dedicated to her memory.
