This piece is worthy of sitting on the dressing table of a Hollywood starlet! It really captures the 1940's bold, feminine style with it's design and color combinations!

Too often these boxes are found with major breaks or repairs but this box, including the hand built and applied ceramic flowers are in great shape with only two very minor flakes off the glaze on the underside of one petal. I took a close up picture of the top of one petal where the clay slightly cracked before glazing, but that is original to the piece. There is another small spot on the lid with an original slight original flaw in the glaze.

The only other condition issues are a super tiny flake from the underside of one corner of the lid and some expected shelf wear on the bottoms of the feet. Please look at the photos carefully and use the zoom feature.

Lovely Vintage Metal and Glass Art Deco Linking Bracelet

This bracelet is a beautiful example of art deco jewelry. The metal links have pretty etched in details, but they have also dulled and tarnished a bit over time. The green and white glass links are cut into open squares and they have maintained their luster.

The clasp is in good working order. The bracelet measures 7" long (17.78 cm) not including the circular metal clasp. Each square stone is about 5/8 ths inch across on all sides.

Swellegant Vintage Patent Leather Purse - Mini Tote Stlye, Off White Color

This lovely real patent leather hand bag is elegant, classic and just a little bit mod. Like, if Twiggy's purse and Grace Kelly's purse got together and had a love child this would be it! .......What? That's not a weird image! I'm just trying to be descriptive here!

The exterior of the bag is in very good condition. I don't think it has ever (or rarely) been used.

There are a few spots where there are some dropped top stitches: the inside of each gusset (see photo) and at the top of the handles and a few others here and there. The top stitching has darkened a bit in some spots as well. One handle has two little dark marks - each less than 1/4 of an inch- that are the color of pencil graphite. I have taken these things into consideration when pricing.

The interior of the bag is clean, clean, clean: 100% free of tissue lint, lipstick marks, ink stains, or musty perfume odors. There is a zippered pocket (zipper works) and a label that reads, "Patent Leather by Ronay"

Measurements:
8 6/8th " across the outside
7" tall
4 1/8th" wide across the bottom
4" from the lip of the bag to the top of the handle

Vintage Beaded Bohemian Slipper Shoes Black Velvet with Floral Bead Work Size 7

Darn my size 8 (OK, 8 1/2!) foot!

Size 7 ladies, these gems are for you!

These gorgeous slipper shoes have been worn, but not worn out. The bottoms are actually almost scuff free - the right a bit more scuffed than the left. Only the heel of each shoe shows more than light wear. Please use the zoom feature on the photos to see what I mean! The velvet on each toe is in very good condition with only one area showing any wear (inner left bottom side). The beadwork is bright and sturdy - nothing loose that I can see.

From toe to heel they measure 10 1/2 inches (26.7 cm). At the widest part of the toe box they are 3 1/4 ( 8.3 cm ) inches across the sole - 2 1/2 inches ( 6.4 cm ) across the footbed at the widest part of the heel.

All is in good working order and the piece is in excellent condition!

Simply Charming:

This lovely vase features a satin ivory color with a hand painted sprig of pink dogwood flowers in bloom. The form is so pretty with it's two handles, scalloped lip and the almost draped fabric effect to the body.

Although there are no chips or cracks, the vase is covered with crazing overall. I like the look, but please use the zoom feature to see if you like it too.

The vase is signed on the bottom with the Weller mark and a hand painted "M".

It stands 6" (15.24cm) tall, about 7" across the top from handle to handle and 5" across the foot at it's widest point.

This little vase is just cute and sweet. You can fit just enough flowers in it to create a very charming scene.

I wouldn't call this piece the very finest of china. I'm picturing a shelf full of Dutch girl vases at the ol' Five and Dime circa 1930-40. This little piggy measures a bit less than 5" (12.7cm) from snout to tail. From back to belly it's about 2 1/4" (5.71cm). He's in good vintage condition without breaks or chips, but he's got crazing all throughout the glaze. He's stamped on the bottom with "made in japan".

Here are the cozy mugs you need when you are sitting in front of a toasty warm fire, wrapped in a plaid blanket, sipping hot cocoa with a friend.

These heavy stoneware mugs feature a beautiful transfer ware design called Mountain Wood-Land by Nasco. The design wraps all the way around and there are even pretty little details inside the mugs and down the handles!

They measure 3 1/2 inches tall (almost 9cm) and 2 1/2 inches across the bottom of the mug (7cm).

There are no chips, cracks or crazing on the mugs with only a bit of wear showing around the stripe detail that runs around the lip of the mugs. They are in excellent vintage condition!

Winter Wonderland Vintage Felt Off White Baby Booties with Real Fur Trim

These little booties are so sweet! I could see them paired with a wonderful Holiday outfit on either a little boy or girl. How I wish my own little ones could still fit into them!

They are made out of cream colored wool felt with a periwinkle blue felt soles. Each shoe features delicate pink and blue embroidered flowers on the toes, blue satin laces, and white fur trim around the ankle. They are very clean and seem to be quite well made. That said, if there is a flaw to be seen it is in photo #4. There is a tiny dark spot that is about the size of one stitch. Please use the zoom feature to inspect all the photos!

Here are the measurements so that you may be sure to get the fit you need: 4 1/2 ( 11.4 cm )inches from toe to heel, 2 (5.1 cm )inches across the widest part of the toe box, 2 3/4 (7 cm) inches from sole at the heel to top of ankle.

This vintage lusterware mini china tea set is in good overall vintage condition. There are the expected variations in tone on the lusterware finish. One of the cups has a flea bite chip~ please see photo. Also to be seen in the photo is a very tiny bit of paint loss on the saucer below. I love this charming cradle. Use it to hold collectible dolls, dried flowers, inanimate objects and/or nostalgic memories. (But please do not use it to hold OR entertain a human child, an alien child, or in fact, any type of child.)

Measurements:

The flat "bed" part ( where the mattress would go) measures 17" X 6"

From the bed the headboard measures 7 1/2" at it's peak and the footboard measures 5" at the peak.

From the floor to the highest point on the headboard it is about 9" and floor to highest point on the foot board is about 7"

This is definitely a rustic piece. It has obvious coat/s of hand painted paint which is chipped all around the edges. There are visible cracks on the flat bed as well as nails that are sticking up and have been painted over. There are also other scratches and marks throughout.

All THAT said, this piece is very sturdy - no wiggles, no squeaks, no loose bits! And the rocking motion is nice and satisfyingly smooth and easy to do with your foot like a pioneer mom.

Vintage Saucy Pin Up Girl Calendar by Freeman Elliot 1951 with Original Sleeve - FREE SHIPPING

This unbelievably cool calendar has twelve full color pages of naughty pin up beauties plus a sly sleeve with the title, "A Theory of Curves" and an even slyer cover page. It goes into educated detail about the fascinating course of study that is about to be revealed month by month! ("A lesson studied is a lesson learned.")

Everything here is in overall terrific condition. The sleeve has some expected wear and a bit of tearing at the top of the envelope. There is a slight bend to the red plastic ring binder. The calendar itself has no rips or tears or marks of any kind.

This item features the art of Freeman Elliot who is known for his series of calendars called Artist's Sketch Pad. They were made between 1949 and 1951. Each pin up girl is suitable for framing and each has a saucy caption to go with the image.

I am not an expert in Swedish art pottery, but I have done as much research as a quiet early morning would allow. I feel confident that I am presenting a wonderful piece of mid-century Scandinavian Art Pottery created by one of the leaders in the craft, Mari Simmulson.
The Paisley makers mark on the back is clearly hers and her work is collected world wide.

I am less sure of what to call this form or how to identify the design. But even a country bumkin like me can see that it's a shallow dish with a really mid-century -cool ancient type de-zine.

Based upon comparable sizes I feel that the price I am listing is fair, but please let me know if you can provide me with some information that would help me reflect current market value better. :-)

The piece is in mint condition and still has the original sticker in place. The colors are so mod and cool! There is a bit of original price tag glue on the back which could be easily wiped off, but I was hesitant to do anything to the piece in case that little dried gluey outline could provide some interesting clue to an avid collector! ?

Amazing Beaded Vintage Jazz Age Era Purse in Pink and Pearly Grey/Brown Stripes

This Jazz Age purse has seen it's share of Lindy Hops, I'm sure. Now it's up to you to take it out dancing again and show off YOUR style and grace! The simple graphic design of alternating pink and pearly grey/brown stripes make it look so modern and vintage at the same time!

This hep little number is just a beauty! She has some condition issues as you can see from the photos. The seam along the bottom looks like it has stretched a bit. You can see the natural color woven fabric through the beads there, but there are no holes and all the beads seem secure.

I would also like to bring your attention to the mouth of the bag. It looks like there has been at least one half hearted attempt to re-attach the natural colored rope handle to the purse. The grommets are sewn with red thread in three places, but I know you can do a better job! All the silver grommets are there on the rope handle, they just need to be sewn in place. Or maybe you have a different way to do the job!

The purse measures a bit more that 4" high (10.16 cm) and about 5 1/4" (13.36 cm) wide.
