When I read the childhood classic The Secret Garden to my daughter I found myself just as enchanted by it as she was. So while I should have been packing for a trip, I jumped instead into this doodle, powered by the thought that the yearning for a little secret garden never goes away, even when childhood ends. For some of us it means getting lost in art, for others it is a retreat into reading, writing, cooking, running, conversation with best friends, tending an actual garden - really anything that takes us into our own happy dream world.

Groovy up your gifts, love letters, Etsy thank yous, lunch box messages, and even your excuse notes with these bright little foldover notecards. At two and a half inches square, they're big enough to say something, but not big enough to stress you out by having to say too much. These notes will help you keep it short and sweet.

You'll receive a set of 10 assorted notecards, a colorful mix of groovy patterns that started as doodles in my journals. No envelopes needed, either - I seal mine with stickers, punch a hole and tie them to gift bags, or just let them hang loose.
