These earrings remind me of the glorious flora of the Caribbean after the rains that end the dry season. Green is a strong spring fashion color for 2009. The earrings would look great at a special St. Patrick's Day party, cocktail party, a prom, or wedding. Each earring has three green crystals wire wrapped on a delicate silver chain. A clear crystal sparkles at the top where it is wire wrapped to a sterling silver ear wire. Each earring is about 1 1/4 inch or 33 cm. from the tip of the top crystal by the ear wire to the tip of longest hanging crystal.

These earrings are also available in a soft shade of pink. There are three pink crystals wire wrapped to a silver chain. Another tiny, pale pink crystal is at the top and is wire wrapped to a sterling silver ear wire.

For fall fashions, the orange version makes a great accent at an autumn outfit.

These vintage green beads remind me of the color of the "Emerald Isle", Ireland after a rain. These glass beads date back to the 1960's. I imagine them worn by a rainbow child of the '60 before I refashioned them with some other tiny gold vintage beads and modern gold Swarovski beads.

One of the most beautiful flowers in the Caribbean is the hibiscus which comes in many variations and colors. Purple is a favorite of mine. This crocheted necklace is inspired by this gorgeous flower. I have incorporated tiny sea shells from the Caribbean, vintage buttons, amerthyst coral, and small beads into this necklace and connected them all by crocheting them together with clear wire. This is a one of a kind necklace. It is light and airy. It is a unique necklace that is about 30 inches in diameter and is intended to let the wearer wrap it as loose or tight as desired. I usually wear it with 3 loose wraps around my neck.

This is a 17 inch (43.2 cm) necklace. This measurement doesn't include the smaller circle of beads that hangs below the area that goes around the neck. A close look at these fireworks jasper beads reveals swirls of white and tan swirled in with the dark green. The white pearls add to the contrast between the dark and light of the jasper versus the pearls. This makes for a beautiful natural gem necklace . This 19 inch (48.3 cm) necklace necklace is earth friendly. When the the vintage mint green beads are combined with capri blue of the potato pearls, the colors just pop. The focal piece picks up both the mint and capri blue colors and has some yellow, black, and pink to add some other fresh colors. This necklace also contains some sterling silver and is connected with a cute little toggle clasp that I love to use. The shape of the togggle reminds me of the breast cancer awareness ribbon. It is stamped 925.

Not only does the glass focal point remind me of the greens and sky blues, but this necklace puts fresh life into a vinage necklace from the 1950's. I first spotted this necklace in the Antica shop. This shop is a fellow of the Delaware Street Team on Etsy. The necklace was the traditional necklace of the '50's with a large center bead and the remainder of the beads decreasing in size as they approach the clasp in the back. This 7 1/2 inch bracelet combines two stunning elements to make a really special bracelet. It blends a unique handcrafted clasp with blue crazy lace agate. The clasp is handcrafted in wax and cast in the Japanese metal alloy Shibuichi. It is patinated by hand to achieve this wonderful satin like finish. Shibuichi is an alloy of silver (25%) and copper. Handcrafted here in the U.S.A. by Green Girl Studios. It makes use of a clever hook and eye clasp. This clasp shows incredible detail and showcases the Green Girl Studios artist's talent. The sunflower has the eye on one of it's petal and the leaf has the hook in place of it's stem. The clasp is a very much a major part of this bracelet since it is 44 mm in length; it definitely stands out in the design of the bracelet.
