Some might even call you frightening. Everyone in your life understand that to know you is to respect you.

But some people don't know who you are or what they should feel when you walk into the room. These weak, small, insignificant few will thank you for wearing this tie and helping them to understand their place in your world.

Fear Me is 56" long with hand embroidered lettering about 6" in height.

And ladies, this one would be great for a night out, right? Imagine sitting at the bar and being able to tell sweaty jerks to leave you alone by simply pointing at your tie!

The teddy is 3.5" tall, and the tie is for an adult male.

Remember, ladies -- ties look great on you as well. Use it as a belt, or wear it loose over a T-shirt. Do you like the delicious convenience of ice cream served in a cone? If you answered yes to either, or both, of these questions, we urge you to consider purchasing the I Scream tie. This "good enough to eat" accessory features a triple-scoop of delicious hand embroidery on an elegant adult tie.

(I'm pretty sure the middle scoop is Chocolate Chip Mint, but your guess is as good as mine on the other two flavors... especially the top scoop. What was I thinking?)

Our ties are great for men, but are even better on women. Imagine, ladies, wearing a hand-embroidered tie loose around your neck or tied teasingly about your waist. There is only one word to describe a look like that.

SEXY and DARING.

Ice - embroidered wall hanging

$280.00
This piece was a real test of patience, and Em said I was crazy to start it at all, but the final result was well worth the effort. "Ice" is an abstract piece made up entirely of French knots. It is framed in a six-inch, wooden hoop, and the back has been left open in order to show the other side of this "crazy" undertaking.

As with all of my embroidery, "Ice" is stitched completely by hand. Frankly, I'm not sure they have ever made a machine that can tie a decent French knot, much less a few thousand of them.

Still, after all was said and done, and the French knot callous on the middle finger of my right hand had grown to gargantuan proportions, I was very happy with the final product. Here's hoping you enjoy it as well.

It seemed like everything I stitched was some sort of eyeball, but since this one came out with shoes and a fancy tophat, he's the king of the bunch. I've always dreamed of someone turning this into an eye patch and maybe wearing it to prom...

The patch measures 2.5" X 3.5". This patch drives home the point that without coffee, sometimes it feels like the sun never really gets above the horizon.

Measuring in at 2.5 X 3 inches, Morning Coffee is fairly large for a patch, but can still be used as such. I have backed it with felt, making it easy to sew or glue to any surface. And many people like to put these larger patches in small frames for display.

As always, every stitch is done by hand. Lovecraft series. While the monsters in the series are not really based on specific Lovecraft creatures, they are all based on creatures I picture when reading his work.

This particular piece is called Fog because of the background, which is an experiment in needle felting. All of the "fog" is created using various colors of wool which have been punched into the fabric using special needles. I really like the end result -- an ominous, swirling, other-worldly fog.

Fog is framed in a 6-inch embroidery hoop that has been painted black. The entire piece was designed by me, and every stitch is done by hand. The back of the hoop has been enclosed using felt.

If you are looking for a unique piece of wall art, and are fond of all things creepy, then this just might be for you!

Tweet - fabric patch

$22.00
A classic design from Moe Sew Co! Mr. blue bird has a lot to say, but he can fit it all into one loud eighth note. This patch measures slightly larger than 2"X2", and would look great on a bag, jacket, or as a fridge magnet (magnet not included).

As always, every stitch is done by hand, and the canvas is backed with felt, making it easy to sew or glue to any patch-worthy surface.

________________________________________________

How can I use my MoeSewCo patch?

1. Sew or glue it to a jacket, bag, purse, pocket, binder, backpack -- anything that you think needs a bit of decoration.

2. Glue it to a magnet for your refrigerator or filing cabinet.

3. Put it in a small picture frame for an interesting piece of wall art.

4. Give it as a gift.

5. Attach a loop of string and use it as a Christmas ornament or decoration for your rearview mirror.

Each patch includes complete instructions on how to sew or glue it to a flat surface.

It started out quite a bit stranger, but I've lightened it up for patch appropriateness. All stitching is done by hand -- NO MACHINES!

Sorry. Didn't mean to yell.

The stitched area is 2.25 tall and 2.00 wide, and there is plenty os canvas on each side so that it can be trimmed to fit wherever you'd like. Also, it's backed with felt, making it easy to sew or stitch onto any appropriate surface.

________________________________________________

How can I use my MoeSewCo patch?

1. In this era of Secret Santa parties at work, what could be better for that preening receptionist or the boss who spends more time on his hair than on his people skills? Plus the frame is pretty sweet!

It can also be removed from the fram and used as a decorative patch, should the need arise.

________________________________________________

How can I use my MoeSewCo patch?

1. It is fully finished and ready to go on your wall.

This started out as a small doodle, but grew into a 10" piece that incorporates random, but repeating, elements to create an appearance of movement and chaos. The material is a light blue cotton blend, and two colors of floss (black and red) were used in the stitching.

Thanks for looking!

I call him Gorm the Deaf after a character in a radio show we used to produce back in the days before I started doing all of this embroidery stuff.

As with all of the embroidery in this shop, Gorm is 100% hand-stitched using high-quality materials. Sure, that's pretty cool, but I'm more of a Sasquatch man. Let Nepal have their big, white monster. I like North America"s big, brown monster.

Besides, anyone remember the excitement you felt when the Bionic Man fought with that robotic Bigfoot? That was awesome!

Show your love with this 2" X 2.25" patch featuring a close-up of a smiling (?) Sasquatch. Every stitch has been done by hand, and the patch has been mounted on felt to make it easy to sew or glue onto any appropriate surface.

Don't let this one slip away!

________________________________________________

How can I use my MoeSewCo patch?

1.
Black Sun Framed With Record

$125.00
I recently posted this piece on Flickr, and interest in it has been high. The face is hand-stitched with black floss on a dark fabric, and I have used old records to frame it. Here's what I wrote in the Flickr post:

"I drew this face one afternoon, and decided that it would look good in black floss on a dark background. When the question of framing came up, I was looking for options that did not include simply putting the pieces inside a wooden embroidery hoop. I decided that this face would look good framed by an LP record. You might notice that it's also backed with a record, and that I drilled holes and stitched the records together to complete the frame."

This is a one-of-a-kind piece that would look great on any wall. Please convo me if you have any questions, and thanks for looking!

Like all of the embroidery in our shop, every stitch has been done by hand. The patch has been backed with felt, making it quite the simple deal to sew or glue it to any patch-appropriate surface.

________________________________________________

How can I use my MoeSewCo patch?

Brrrrrrraaaaiiiiiiiiinnnnsss - fabric patch

$25.00
I'm sick to death from all of these vampire movies! When will the studios understand that the only undead creatures worth a keg of spit are ZOMBIES! I LOVE zombies to the point where I could almost use multiple exclamation points without feeling like a schmuck.

Anyway, in order for certain types of zombies (not the Romero, but the O'Bannon) to shuffle about, they need to keep themselves full of living brain tissue. This patch memorializes this by spelling out the word in zombie colors -- light greens, grays, and a little red to make it complete.

The embroidered portion of the patch measures 3.25" wide by 2.75 inches tall, so it's pretty hard to miss. It can be easily sewn or glued to any patch-appropriate surface (jackets, bags, pajamas) and is in no danger of snagging so you can safely show it with pride to your vampire-loving friends, who only wish they were as cool as you.

The patch is 100% hand-made, and is backed with felt to make application easier and to prevent canvas fray.

Brrrrraaaiiiiiiinnnnnns...

________________________________________________

How can I use my MoeSewCo patch?

1. Sew or glue it to a jacket, bag, purse, pocket, binder, backpack -- anything that you think needs a bit of decoration.

2.
The Book of Words - fabric patch

$18.00
For a while, whenever anyone would ask me a question, I would say, "Let me consult the book I wrote," and pantomime turning through the pages of a large textbook.

When I pictured that book in my mind, it looked just like this one, except for the title. The title to my answer book was "Adam's Answers to Every Question in the Universe - Vol. 1" but that wouldn't fit on this patch. So I shortened the title to one word - the one thing all books have in common - WORDS.

Except for picture books, I guess. But I couldn't fit WORDS and PICTURES on the patch book, either. Nobody's perfect.

This patch measures 2.5 inches wide and 2.75 inches tall. It is entirely stitched by hand, and is backed with felt making it easy to sew or glue to most surfaces.
________________________________________________

How can I use my MoeSewCo patch?

1. Sew or glue it to a jacket, bag, purse, pocket, binder, backpack -- anything that you think needs a bit of decoration.

2. For some reason, the only local channel they can receive now is the ABC affiliate from Duluth, and they were pining for the days when they could just turn on their TV and watch it.

I got to thinking that the old days weren't really any better. As I recall, during the summer months especially, we couldn't get any reception at all. Our over-the-air little TV never performed very well.

So that's where this piece came from. It is completely stitched by hand, and is my own design. It has been framed in a 7-inch wooden hoop that has been painted black, so that should give you some idea of the size of the piece.

It is finished, and ready to hang on the wall.

Thanks for looking!

Not for my money, there isn't. And is there anything better than an embroidered patch featuring a mailbox? That's up to you.

This hand-stitched patch measures 2" by 2", and is mounted on felt so that it can be sewn or glued to any appropriate surface. I've had one of my patches on a bag for over two years, and it still looks great!

Please feel free to contact us with questions, and thanks for looking!

El Worm - fabric patch

$25.00
When I was in Spain, the whole place was crawling with worms wearing traditional Spanish hats. I' m totally telling the truth. You can even ask my dad. This patch is a hand-stitched version of one of the photos I took of this strange Spanish phenomenon. It is 3.25" tall and 3" wide.

Some might say that this is too big for a decorative patch, and they may be right. These same people, however, might place El Worm in a small frame and use it to decorate a wall or shelf.

El Worm is backed with felt, and can be easily sewn or glued to any logical surface. (I say "logical" because I know there's a wise-elbow out there somewhere who will try to glue it to the surface of some body of water and then ask for his money back.)

Be the first (or possibly second) person on your block to own El Worm!

I call it Father Nature because I think it looks like some sort of pagan mask. If nothing else, it makes me think of some sort of Green God.

The embroidery measures 2.25 inches square, and is mounted on felt. You can easily glue or sew the patch to any appropriate surface.

Every stitch on everything in our shop is done by hand. That's right! You hide the part you don't like behind tall grass!

This is one of my favorite patches, and measures slightly larger than 3" square. It's even better for that special man or woman who likes to see a fish embroidered ON a tie! The fish is 2.5" long and 3" tall, and the tie is about 60" in length (really, it's a tie for an adult male). I believe the tie is silk. That's how it feels, anyway, but there is no label to prove it. All of the embroidery is done by hand. This, as are all of my ties and patches, is a one-of-a-kind piece.

And don't forget -- these ties look great on the ladies, too.

The pattern was so overwhelming that I couldn't use it as a simple background, so I decided to try something new by incorporating the pattern directly into the design. I'm pretty happy with the result.

This is an adult-sized tie that would look good on a woman or a man.
