Great Captain Power Stickers - Vintage - 1987

These vintage stickers feature the 1980s characters called “Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future.” They are dated 1987 by the Kellogg’s company.

These would be great for scrapbooking and/or cardmaking projects. Additionally, they can be matted and framed for decorations.

This set includes three complete sheets of stickers and one partial sheet. One of the complete sheets is torn along one of the perforation lines.

Please note: these stickers/seals need to be moistened in order to stick. These are NOT peel-and-stick stickers. These are the old-fashioned variety.

Each sheet has 100 stickers, for a total of 380 individual stickers. The sheets feature stickers with such “Captain Power” characters as Captain Power, Major Hawk Masterson, Lt. Tank Ellis, Power Jet XT-7, Phantom Striker, Blastarr Ground Guardian, Soaron Sky Sentry and Lord Dread.. Each sheet measures 10½ by 8¾ inches (26.7 x 22.2 cm).

These will be shipped flat with cardboard for protection.

These stickers/seals feature several favorite characters from children’s TV and books.

These would be great for scrapbooking and/or cardmaking projects. Additionally, they can be matted and framed for nursery decorations.

This set includes the two sheets of stickers pictured. Please note: these stickers/seals need to be moistened in order to stick. These are NOT peel-and-stick stickers. These are the old-fashioned variety.

The Sesame Street stickers measure about 1 by 1½ inches each. There are 24 Sesame Street stickers on the sheet, which measures about 5¾ by 10 inches total. In two places on the outside edges, the perforations are separated, but the stickers are not affected; just the edging around the stickers.

The Dr. Seuss & Friends stickers/seals each measure about 2 by 2¼ inches. There are 8 stickers on that sheet.

In all, there are 32 stickers. These will be shipped flat with cardboard for protection.

I realize these stickers are not repurposed or reused — yet, but they are rescued….just waiting on someone to buy them for fun projects! My daughter has out-grown these childhood characters, but instead of throwing them away, I’d rather see them go to someone who can use them.

Vintage Lincoln-Mercury station wagon Ad - 1969 - for scrapbooks, collages, art

This magazine cover and ad(s) are just perfect for the hunter or car lover in your life. Whether you frame the items for his (or her) den or if you use them to adorn scrapbook pages, cards or collages, they’re sure to delight!

These two pages are from the October 1969 issue of “Outdoor Life” magazine. The first page is the cover to the magazine, and it shows some wear from almost 40 years of reading. The edges are a little ragged, there’s a worn spot near the middle right side, and there’s a spot where the label was taken off before I inherited it.

The other side of the front cover features an ad for the 1970 Lincoln-Mercury Marquis Colony Park “station wagon.”

The second page includes a full-page ad for Browning Sportsman’s Apparel and Boots. It features severals photos of men in various hunting situations. On the reverse side, is a ⅓-page ad for the Daisy 5-shot semi-automatic B-B gun.

These are great for framing or art projects. And can be used for scrapbooking, collages, tags, journaling, bookmark making, altered art, mixed media pieces, card making or whatever your imagination can come up with.

These are the originals from the original magazine, not a copy. The ads has some patina or yellowing.

The full pages measure 8¼ by 11 inches (21 by 27.9 cm). They will be packaged in a clear bag, sandwiched between cardboard to prevent damage and shipped flat.

Vintage boot ad

This vintage ad for Cedar Crest Sportsman's Boot was taken from the October 1969 edition of Outdoor Life. Great for framing or art projects.

This is the original ad from the original magazine, not a copy. The ad has a wonderful patina or yellowing around the edges. It also has some wrinkling on the left side of the page due to lying flat in my grandfather's closet for almost 40 years. The wrinkling is less noticeable on the original than it is on the scan I made to post here.

This ad can be used for scrapbooking, collages, tags, journaling, bookmark making, altered art, mixed media pieces, card making or whatever your imagination can come up with. The ad features six circular drawings of men in various occupations, such as bus driver, cowboy, etc. Those drawings can be cut out to make tags, stickers, etc.

It also would look great framed!

On the back of the ad is magazine text, as well as an smaller ad for the Alaska Sleeping Bag Company.

The ad measures 8.25 by 11 inches (21x27.9 cm). It will be packaged in a clear bag, sandwiched between cardboard to prevent damage and shipped flat.

Vintage 1979 Boys Town Christmas Seals

These vintage Christmas seals are beautiful! They’ll make great cardmaking, scrapbooking or collage materials. Additionally, they can be matted and framed for a lovely holiday decoration.

This is a complete sheet of Boys Town Christmas seals from 1979. The sheet measures about 8-by-10 inches (20 x 25 cm). Most of the individual seals measure 1¾ by 2 inches (4.4 x 5 cm). There are 30 individual seals on the sheet.

There are two main designs on the sheet: One features a boy kneeling at Mary’s knee as she holds the Baby Jesus, while Joseph looks on. The second, smaller, design shows boy holding another boy with the phrase “He’s not heavy, he’s my brother.” There is one sticker featuring Father Edward J. Flanagan. The edge of the sticker sheet bears the phrase “There are no bad boys. Only bad parents, bad environment, bad example.”

The seals are from Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home, Boys Town, in Nebraska. The sheet is complete with the identifying information on the edge of the sheet of stickers. The sheet has been folded along some of the perforations but is in excellent condition with only a short, minor tear along one of the perforations.

This vintage ad for L.L. Bean’s and some “fine gifts” was taken from the October 1969 edition of Outdoor Life. Great for framing or art projects.

This is the original ad from the original magazine, not a copy. The ad has a wonderful patina or yellowing around the edges.

This ad can be used for scrapbooking, collages, tags, journaling, bookmark making, altered art, mixed media pieces, card making or whatever your imagination can come up with. The “fine gifts” ad features what is now a vintage dial-phone, a stethoscope, a coin bank that is a replica of a bank’s safe, a “tummy tamer weight belt” and a “desktop computer” that “visually performs tasks of a giant electronic brain.” On the flip side of the magazine page, the L.L. Bean ad is offering a free catalog and an electronic game caller for hunters; that side of the page also has some text from an article.

Either side would look great framed!

Vintage 1968 Wildlife Christmas Stickers

These vintage Christmas “stamps” are beautiful! They’ll make great cardmaking, scrapbooking or collage materials. Additionally, they can be matted and framed for a lovely holiday decoration.

This is a booklet of National Wildlife Federation stamps/seals from 1968. The booklet measures about 3 x 5.5 inches (7.6 x 14 cm). Each individual seal measures a little less than 1¾ by 1 inches (4.4 x 2.5 cm). There are four sheets of 10 stamps each in the booklet, for a total of 40 stamps/stickers/seals. Note: the front cover has been detached from the booklet but is available and will be included with the package.

There are five different sticker designs, featuring a cardinal, blue-gray gnatcatcher, golden-crowned kinglet, black-capped chickadee and a white-winged cross bill. The inside of the front cover includes a description of each bird, as well as map showing where the birds live in the U.S. The back cover offers information on “Ranger Rick’s Nature Magazine.”

The stamps/stickers/seals are from the National Wildlife Federation in Washington, D.C.

Groovy Vintage 1969 Dodge Dart Ad

This vintage ad for Dodge Dart was taken from the October 1969 edition of Outdoor Life magazine.

On the back of the ad is another full-page ad for Winston cigarettes. This is the original ad from the original magazine, not a copy. The ad has some patina or yellowing. This ad was on the inside back cover of the magazine. This was an often-read magazine, and this cover ad shows some wear, including fraying around the edges, a crease and some wrinkling normal with almost 30 years of use. There is a small piece of tape on the reverse side of this ad.

This ad features great wording! “For the Smart Swinger…the Dart Swinger.”

This ad can be used for scrapbooking, collages, tags, journaling, bookmark making, altered art, mixed media pieces, card making or whatever your imagination can come up with.

It also would look great framed!

This is a complete sheet of Boys Town Christmas seals from 1971. The sheet measures about 8-by-10 inches (20 x 25 cm). Each individual seal measures 1¾ by 1 inches (4.4 x 2.5 cm). There are 50 individual seals on the sheet.

There are two different designs on the sheet: One features a boy placing a letter in the mailbox, with a church and a boy pulling a Christmas tree on a sled in the background. The second design shows boy holding an adult’s hand on the way to church.

The seals are from Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home, Boys Town, in Nebraska. The sheet is complete with the identifying information on the edge of the sheet of stickers. The sheet has been folded along some of the perforations and one of the perforations on the right side of the sheet is partially torn but remains connected.

These vintage Christmas seals are so nostalgic! They’ll make wonderful cardmaking, scrapbooking or collage materials. Additionally, they can be matted and framed for a lovely holiday decoration.

This is a complete sheet of Boys Town Christmas seals from 1969. The sheet measures about 10¼ by 8¼ inches (26 x 21 cm). Each individual seal measures 1¾ by 1 inches (4.4 x 2.5 cm). There are 50 individual seals on the sheet. This sheet of stickers is in excellent condition.

There are two different designs on the sheet: One features a boy at the door and the phrase, “Please, Father, I’m all alone...” The second design shows some boys decorating an outdoor Christmas tree.

These almost-vintage Christmas seals are beautiful! They’ll make great cardmaking, scrapbooking or collage materials. Additionally, they can be matted and framed for a lovely holiday decoration.

This is a complete sheet of Boys Town Christmas seals from 1989. The sheet measures about 7½-by-8⅛ inches (19 x 20.6 cm). Each individual seal measures 1¾ by 1 inches (4.4 x 2.5 cm). There are 35 individual seals on the sheet.

The individual seals combine to create the design of a Christmas tree, complete with ornaments and gifts under the tree. Around the edges of the sheet are several seals featuring a boy carrying another boy on his back and the familiar motto “He ain’t heavy, Father, he’s my brother.” The “ornaments” on the tree are adorned with the names of boys: Alan, Tom, Rob, Randy, Dave, Ted, etc.

The seals are from Father Flanagan’s Boys’ Home, Boys Town, in Nebraska. The sheet is complete with the identifying information on the edge of the sheet of stickers.

Vintage Zippers - Lot of Four

These vintage zippers are great for sewing projects, crafts or a collection of vintage sewing notions.

I don’t have a firm date on them, but I’m guessing the are from the 1970s or earlier. There are no barcodes on the packages, and the original prices range from 40 to 55 cents (U.S.).

This lot includes four metal zippers labeled Conmar, Talon (2) and J.&P. Coats. They 7 to 16 inches (about 18 to 40.6 cm) long. The colors are pale green, “Rail Grey,” “Toast” and “Tango” (dark orange). All four of these zippers are unused and are in unopened packages.

These would make a great gift for a collector!
