This is a beautiful cotton fabric jacket with 3/4 length sleeves and an Asian/Nehru type collar. It buttons down the front with tab type button holes. I have hand washed it so it is clean. There is one slight rust color discoloration on a flower on the front, which is about 1/2" long. There are a few snaggy spots on the embroidery and a few loose threads, but otherwise in nice condition. The jacket is completely embroidered in a symmetrical pattern with brightly colored flowers. The sleeves and hem, have slight scallops edged in gold embroidery. This jacket is marked a size medium, and was made by Leandra Crochet in the Philippines.

This is a vintage bed jacket or shorty nightgown. It has a GMc label with ILGWU blue mark. The jacket was not designed for warmth, and it is quite showy. It is marked a size medium, but I believe it could also be considered a large, and would fit a 38" - 40" bust. I think the cut and fit would be beautiful and flattering on most women.

The black lace is in great condition, and the garment is edged at the neck, sleeves and hem with heavily ruffled 1" nylon trim. I do not see any holes or discolorations anywhere on the piece. The sleeves are slightly bell-shaped, and the hem is about 80" total perimeter. The bodice has a double nylon tie. The front length at the shoulder is 28". This nightgown is in very nice condition.

This is a great multi-use garment for the wardrobe.

This is a vintage scarf with hand hemmed and rolled edges. I believe it is silk. It is signed Gucci on a lower edge, with pheasant feathers. The scarf is approximately 34 1/2" square in size. There are no stains, snags, or holes that I can find, however there is a bit of label residue in two spots near the edge. The colors are a bright red and a dark navy blue color. with gold, brown, silver and olive green accents. The colors are closest to the fourth photo in this series. The blue is a true navy, not a bright blue, as some of the photos suggest.

The flying mallards present a striking image. This scarf is still folded, as I found it, but it does not appear to have been worn, and I would consider it to be in good condition.

This is a vintage adjustable bow tie, at least 50 years old or more. I think the fabric is silk, but it could be rayon. The print is a deco jazz inspired geometric that looks like giraffe spots. The tie is adjustable from 14" to 17 1/2" according to the numbers on the inner lining.

I am not sure how to tie this or how it is to be worn, but one could be creative and use it like a scarf to show off the snazzy print. I have not cleaned it, and it does have some discoloration, which may or may not come clean. The total length is about 34".

2 vintage black and white scarves Monogram Paisley

This is a pair of vintage scarves, both in black and white. The first scarf is sheer with initial letters MH or HM. It could also be HW or WH, depending on which way it is worn. This scarf is quite sheer, and is either silk or polyester spun fabric. This one is 26" ( 64.5 cm ) square and in good condition, although it does have a handsewn repair of a hem near one corner. The hems have been hand rolled and hand stitched on this scarf, and there are no marks or tags. The only hole is the one at the hem that was previously repaired.

The second scarf is a Glentex polyester scarf, made in Italy. It has factory folded and stitched hems. This one is in great condition, and is 31" ( 76 cm )square. I have laundered both scarves, and air dried them in our warm California sunshine, and pressed out them, so they come to you fresh with no musty smells. Both scarves are stain-free.

This is a small clutch type of purse. It is 10" long by 5" wide (26 cm x 12.5 cm). The interior is lined with stiped satin and is clean with the exception of one small pink discoloration. There are no labels or other markings. The clutch purse is in good previously used condition.

This is a vintage Levis brand corduroy vest for a man. I think it must be about a size Medium, but the size is not marked. The is a narrow wale corduroy in a tan/light brown color. The buttons are convex and leather covered. The vest has two front pockets with a pleat. The back is also corduroy, and the interior is lined with a nylon or satin type fabric. The condition is good, and it appears clean with no holes or discolorations. The buttons are a bit loose, but I will secure them with a few stitches of thread before shipping.

Vintage pink petticoat half slip 1950s dacron nylon cotton size small

This is a vintage slip in a small size. The waist is about 28" stretched, but unstretched, it is 16". The hips are 34" to 36". My mannequin is about a size 5-6, for fit comparison. The only label is a side seam label with the size and fabric content. The slip style is fairly straight and narrow rather than full, so this slip was meant to be worn under a pencil skirt, or straight skirt, but yet lend a bit of femininity to the the look.

The slip is in excellent condition, and is about 50 years old. It has a four seam construction - two side seams and one seam in both front and back. the lower hem has three tiers of pale pink lace in soft gathers. The total length of the slip is 27". This slip has no stains, discolorations, or holes, and the elastic still has the original stretch, and is flexible. It has been carefully stored since the 1950s.

This is a pair of bright orange clip earrings, great for the Summer season. The orange flat disk shaped buttons are about 1 1/4" in diameter. The earrings are decorated with sea shell slices and tiny seed pearls, forming a flower motif. The condition is great, and they are not marked.

This is a really nice vintage Henson Kickernick full slip in a pale aqua blue color. It has not been worn much, and is in great condition. The slip is a size 38 bust, and is about 36" long, so it hits about the knee or slightly below on a short person. The fitted bodice and back have a nylon lace overlay and the hem also has a lace overlay. The slip could easily be shortened by taking a tuck at the top, which is flat, rather than scalloped.

This is a vintage striped sleeveless cotton knit t-shirt. It has a metal zipper up the front. The label reads Billie Knitwear size medium, however this is a very small shirt. It may have been worn, but it is in excellent condition with no stains, discolorations, or holes. The shirt has ribbed knit around the armholes and v-neck trim. I purchased this shirt with other items from the mid 1950s that had been in storage for years. This shirt can be worn as a vest over a sleeveless cami or worn zipped up. It is being modeled on my size 5-6 mannequin, and as you can see it is quite snug. I do not have the shirt pinned or clipped anywhere.

This is t-shirt knit cotton fabric and there is some give and stretch. I believe the hem has a stretch elastic narrow cord, so it will expand several inches at the hips. There is no fabric content label, but the knit feels like it may even have a bit of spandex.

This is a vintage sleeveless cotton shirt from the late 1950s to early 1960s era. It is in brand new and unworn condition. It is old stock that has been stored in plastic boxes for many years. The size is a vintage 34, which would probably be a medium size. The brand is Addy and the label states that the cotton fabric is sanforized.

This shirt is a bright blue, almost turquoise color and it is fitted with side darts at the bust, and waist darts and pleats, both front and back. There are two front button pockets. The buttons are all pearlized. There is a small round collar. The shirt is in very good unworn condition. There is just a hint of dust discoloration along a couple of the fold lines. I am was told that this can be removed with white vinegar.

My mannequin model is about a size 5-6, and I have not pinned anything, except for the vintage capris, which are a larger size. The measurements for the shirt are:

This vintage pin is a porcelain cabochon that is printed with pastel roses and forget-me-nots. The backing is a gold toned netal with an applied clasp that locks in place. This is a large brooch and is 2 1/2" long and 2" wide 7cm x 5cm). It would look beautiful with a vintage scarf. The condition is very good and there are no scratches or chips.

This is a vintage Movie Star brand Nylon half slip and camisole set. The size is Medium. These pieces are both in good condition with no holes or discolorations, and I would guess that they are from the 1980s. The color is what I would call a deep rasberry or magenta color.

The half slip is 25" in length and has a slightly rounded front hem line. One side has a slight split and the other side has a deeper split. There are two lace panels down the front of both slip and camisole. The camisole is approximately 34 - 35" at the armpits and the hips.

This is a sweet cotton print sleeveless shirt from the mid- 1960s. It even has the original price tag of 88 cents! The shirt label states that it is sanforized and washable. It was made in Okinawa. The shirt has not been washed, and it is in new condition, with no discolorations or stains. It has been in storage for almost 50 years.

The shirt is a size 32. The print is of dark pink roses and flower carts. There is a little flower vendor holding a bouquet of flowers. The shirt has two side darts on the bodice, but no other fitting seams. There is a narrow round collar and utility pearlized buttons down the front. The shirt is being modeled on my mannequin which is about a size 5-6.

This is a vintage sleeveless shirt or blouse from the mid-1950's to the early 1960s era. I don't know the exact date, but it was with many other stored items from the 1950s, such as movie star magazines dating from 1956. This shirt has little pearl buttons with three indentations on the top surface. The shirt is fitted both front and back with pleated darts from the waist, as well as bodice darts on the side. The shirt is in new, never worn condition, with no discolorations that I can find. The color is a medium blue, almost turqoise, and it is paired with a pair of turqoise capris from the same era.

The bust measurement on this shirt is actually about 38", so the bust is roomy. The shoulder to shoulder measurement is 16" and the waist is 30". The total length is 22". The shirt is being modeled on my size 5-6 mannequin. I do not know if this fabric will shrink. There is no manufacturers name or fabric content tag. It is either 100% cotton, or perhaps a blend of some type.

I am not sure of the vintage of this dress, but I believe it to be from about the mid to late 1970s. There are no shoulder pads and the shoulders are lightly gathered on the front. It appears that the dress has been shortened, or perhaps lengthened from the original length. The hem has a wide lace hem binding that is well sewn in place. The collar is wide and pointed. There is no fabric content or size on the label, but the size is a medium, probably 8-10, or maybe a 12 in vintage sizing. My mannequin is about a size 5-6, and this dress has not been pinned or clipped in back.

All of the buttons are in place, including two on each cuff. The buttons are fabric covered. The fabric is in good condition with no pilling or wrinkling, or wear. It appears to be a nylon or light poly knit type fabric. There is one teensiest orange spot just above the waist. It is the size of a pencil point. The buttons are a bit loose, but I will tighten them all before shipping, as well as tightening the button holes a bit. The dress has a built in waistband that goes all around front and back.

This is a vintage nightgown and duster set from the 1960s. It is still packaged in the gift box and has not been used or worn. The size is Medium per the paper tag in the side seam. There is no manufacturers label to identify the maker. This set is not a designer label clothing item, however it has that 1960s charm, with the princess puffed sleeves. The sleeveless nightgown and robe are only single layer nylon, with no chiffon or fancy lace, just a simple bow and utility lace trim down the front.

Perhaps the set was purchased by a young teen in love for her trousseau, or a young husband purchased it for his bride from the Mode-O-Day store downtown on main street. The condition is excellent, just like new. The set has been in storage for many years and I will mail it in the gift box it came in.

This is a vintage never worn old store stock shirt that has been in storage almost 50 years. It is in excellent condition, and I see not stains or fading. The brand is Kerrybrooke by Sears, Roebuck, and Co. I estimate the age to be from about 1960, but perhaps someone who knows automobiles can look at the graphics and can pinpoint the year better than I can. This shirt is a womens size 12, but the size is bit smaller than todays size 12, so please look at the measurements carefully.

The shirt appears to have Mustangs, Corvettes, and MG automobiles and perhaps a few other roadster type sports cars. I am no expert. The style is an all cotton button front shirt with elbow sleeves. The sleeves have cuffs that can be turned up or left down for additional length. The back is slightly fitted with two small waist pleats. The shirt is a light blue with medium blue shadow wheels, and darker navy blue car graphics. I have shown the shirt with original high waisted capri pants from the same era. My mannequin is about a size 5 for size comparison. The shirt is not fastened or pinned in back. This would make a great gift for the lady car enthusiast in your family, or gift yourself!

Vintage 1970s Hukapoo form fit Nylon blouse shirt long sleeve small medium

This is a vintage Huk.A.Poo brand all nylon womans or Junior shirt from the 1970s. It is in great condition with no stains that I can see. It has a couple of minor snag areas, one on the front chest. This is labeled a size Medium, however my mannequin is about a size 4-6, and as you can see from the photos, the shirt fits fairly snugly, and is not pinned or fastened in the back in any way. The shirt does have quite a bit of stretch, but I would call this a size small, rather than medium by today's standards. It would be great for layering.

The shirt length is 24" (60 cm) long from the shoulders to lower hem, and the sleeves are 23" in length. The bust is 30" (75 cm) and the waist is 25", but it does stretch.

The design is a spring time mix of yellow Iris and blue and salmon "snowdrops" or they could be bluebells. All of the original yellow buttons are there, plus one additional yellow button is still sewn into a side seam at the hip. I have hand washed the shirt so it is clean, but it is machine washable. This is a lightweight nylon knit, perfect for packing in a carry on bag for a trip.

Here is one for you urban or rhinestone cowboys and cowgirls. This shirt is a mens size 15 1/2, but I don't see any reason why it could not be worn by a tall slim female.

The shirt is a classic heavy 100% polyester. I am not sure of the exact year, possibly 1970s or early 1980s. It is called the Silverado, and is in very good gently used condition. There are no stains, and the shirt does not show in worn spots.

The flower embellishment is a silver metallic lame type of fabric with silver metallic embroidery and cording on the smiley pockets and sleeves. The snaps are pearl, and there is one button at the neckline. The back has flowers but no yoke.

Measurements are:

Sleeve length -24" from shoulder to end of cuff

This vintage nightgown has a Vanity Fair label, which reads Tricot all nylon size 34. The nightgown is in very good used condition. The bodice and a-line short skirt both have a sheer white nylon overlay. The gown is very well constructed, as would be expected of a vintage garment. The double nylon spaghetti straps are looped together at the top. The lightly gathered bodice has a floral lace adornment and a turquoise satin ribbon that ties at the back in a bow with long flowing tails. The length of the gown is about 34 inches, including the non-adjustable straps.

This is a vintage tropical print rayon shirt for a woman. The shirt was made in Japan. It is from about 1960, and was purchased with other old store stock from about that time. I don't think this shirt has been worn. There are no stains or discolorations or other damage. There is a slight pucker at the hem in front on one side. This could be easily fixed if you are handy with a needle, but it is not so distracting if left as is. I believe it would be a manufacturing flaw.

The shirt is a size 32, and is fitted with darts at the waist, both front and back. There is a front pocket on the left, and a small yoke across the back. The screen print is of ships, that look to be from the voyage of Columbus. This would be a perfect shirt to wear on a tropical cruise or to the beach. The fabric is all rayon. My mannequin is about a size 5, for visual size comparison. The shirt is shown with high waisted capris from the same era.

This is a vintage floral dress in an arnel triacetate knit type fabric. It has not been worn and has been stored with other old store stock. The condition is excellent with no stains or discolorations. It has no manufacturer label, and only has the paper label which gives the size as 12. There is a WPL number of 12665, but no ILGWU label.

The dress has a side metal zipper and the original belt, which had never been unwrapped. There are two bows at the side of the neckline near the shoulder. They originally had a decorative clip on each bow, but one of the clips has broken. The remaining clip looks like it might possibly originally have had rhinestones, but there are none now. The clip pieces are easily removed, and don't really add or detract to the dress. The dress has soft waist gathering and a narrow hem. The fabric is similar to that of a vintage slip, lightweight, but is not too sheer, but you would need to wear a slip under it. The back of the bodice has a middle seam and two fitting darts. The front has no darts. The neckline has an interfacing.

I purchased this dress along with other old store stock from the 1960s. It had all been in storage for years.
