Handmade copper Rosebud, recycled parts including stem and solder. I love using found and recycled materials; I also love to make very real flowers and leaves. The petals are textured with hundreds of hammer blows that give it a very soft petal look. Great for outdoors, however if used outdoors it will turn green.

Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall with 1 and 1/2 inch bud

This is For Two matching stone Oil Lamps. However please contact me for any Oil lamp needs. I also make oil lamps out of perfume bottles, and other small bottles.

I take natural stones Of different shapes and sizes, and Drill a hole through for a wick. I use a fiber glass wick which never burns up. Use smokeless orderless lamp oil.

I use recycled glass reservoirs, made out of bottles that I cut with a glass cutter, so if you are interested in a vase or set of recycled beer bottle glasses, or other, contact me.

With deep Ocean Hues of blue and Green with a copper back ground these promise to be a conversation starter.

My inspiration for Ocean Mist, came from within, I was just having fun and learning, I cant explain the emotions that I felt working on such a piece, but I felt like I was doing something very important in a way, and it also made me feel on fire. I had a blast doing the piece. After I was finished they struck me as ocean, one has calm warm colors with greens and blues, and the other seems more chaotic. together I think that they complement each other very well.

This one of a kind art form is so much fun, I have used many different chemicals to achieve these colors, and they are all chemical reactions with the sheet of copper! No paint!

It took more than a week of work to achieve these panels!

Together they are approximately 62" by 42"

wall hanging

this Iron window grate/wall hanging window grates have become popular as wall hangings. The twisted center bar has tenons attaching it to the frame, and the frame is lap jointed and riveted. The scroll work is held on by a collar.

The art form of making gates in the old way is known as traditional joinery, that is when all the work is done by hand and there is no modern welding done. allthough I did tack weld this so that if it falls or gets knocked its much stronger.

Copper butterfly with a line chiseled into the wings (chasing and repousse) coated with clear enamel. I love the rich colors that you can get from copper when you coat it in clear glass! It looks like the butterfly is coated in ice.

I used chasing and repousse to achieve the design on this piece. Chasing is using chisels to tap the design in the front and repousse is pushing from the back to give it the three dimensional shape!

Measures 2 and 1/2 inches by 2 inches.

I used chasing and repousse to achieve the design on this piece. Chasing is using chisels to tap the design in the front and repousse is pushing from the back to give it the three dimensional shape! It can be worn as a cross or at the other angle shown. The piece is coated with clear enamel. I love the rich colors that you can get from copper when you coat it in clear glass! It looks like the copper is coated in ice.

All of the work from start to finish is done by hand! Chasing and repousse utilizes small chisels, punches, and hammers to form a shape from the front and back.
