This listing is for two handmade porcelain dishes and one handmade ceramic salt spoon. This is such a pretty and very unusual set that could be displayed together or as individual pieces. The dishes would be great to hold precious little items but the spoon is purely for decorative purposes as it is too delicate to use.

Both the dishes were formed from porcelain and have had vintage lace pressed into them before being bisc fired. They were then lightly sanded, glazed and high fired once more in my kiln. They are part glazed underneath.
The little spoon was made from craft crank clay which has a more gritty texture. The spoon has also had lace pressed into it and been glazed on the top and fired twice in my kiln.

The set will arrive gift boxed and also in an outer box for a safe and cosy journey.

Tne large dish measures just over 4 inches in diameter.
The smaller dish measures 3 inches in diameter.
The spoon is just under 4 inches in length

I created this collage using various pieces of my vintage ephemera, such as sheet music, postcards, stamps and poetry pages. It has real rose petals stitched into a heart and also some wax and acrylic paint applied. This is very much a one of a kind piece of artwork and I feel has a lovely sentiment.
The canvas measures 10 inches x 8 inches and is signed by me on the back. It has been varnished with glossy acrylic varnish for added protection.

These pretty little spoons look gorgeous in a box frame and would also look lovely just as little decorative objects in themselves. I made the mould for these spoons from an original antique silver condiment spoon and then handcast them in lead free pewter. I wanted them to have an aged and worn appearance. These spoons will be made to order so will vary very slightly from the photos.

They each measure 4 inches in length.

I have a bit of a passion for vintage bits and bobs and have a collection of old sheet music...this collage was inspired by one of those pieces of music...love is a very splendid thing. Under the layer of white and cream acrylic paint is a layer of other sheet music ripped and torn to add texture and interest. I have also used a poem from an old poetry book, a vintage stamp and other vintage bits and bobs as well as acrylic paint, ink and wax and hand stitching. The whole thing has been varnished with an acrylic gloss varnish to seal the piece.

The canvas measures approx 20 inches x 8 inches and has been signed and dated on the back by me.

I have used an architectural black clay to form this unusual dish. The clay has a very gritty feel to it which I feel makes it that little bit different from most ceramic dishes. It has been glazed with a white speckle and fired twice in my kiln. It has my signature torn and ripped edges and is a lovey and unique decorative object. The dish measures 7 inches in diameter and will arrive gift boxed and safely packaged for a cosy journey.

Each button has been handformed from a different type of clay. One is stoneware the other two are two different types of craft crank. Craft Crank has a gritty texture to it which gives a lovely rustic appearance. Each button has been fired twice in my kiln.

This brooch has been handformed from beautiful white porcelain clay and has vintage lace pressed into the wet clay before bisc firing. The lace was actually my mums 55 year old wedding dress! The brooch was then glazed and refired in my kiln to a high temperature. It measures 1.5 inches in diameter and will arrive gift boxed.

These unusual and rather yummy dishes were hand formed from a gritty black clay that gives the pieces a really rustic, almost primitive appearance. Each dish has been glazed in a different colour that contrasts beautifully with the black clay. There is also a little spoon as part of the set. The dishes can be stacked up or displayed individually.

All my buttons are that little bit different, I love creating new and interesting textures using a variety of techniques and different clays. These buttons have been formed from a white stoneware clay and I have given them simple abstract patterns. They have each been fired twice in my kiln and measure 1.5 inches in diameter.

A set of 8 teeny tiny porcelain butterflies. Each one is slightly different from the next.

Each butterfly has been formed, the pattern applied, bisc fired, lightly sanded before being high fired in my kiln.
Each butterfly measures 1 inch across. They could be used in mosaic or for card making, altered art or scrapbooking.

I have made these buttons so that they can be sewn on either way. On one side there is texture and glaze and on the other side it is plain white porcelain with texture added....so if you get bored of the one side you can switch them over and use the other!! Fab.

I created this plate as part of an installation piece called "forgotten" which was about families no longer sitting around the table to eat together anymore. I made the plates and cutlery to look as if they had been left for years, aged and disintergrating. The plate is made up of layers of different clays, craft crank, porcelain, porcelain slip and crackle glaze. It has been fired and refired many times to create the effect. I feel it is an unusual and beautiful piece of ceramic art.

It is for decorative purposes only and would look great displayed on a plate stand or even in a box frame.

It will be packaged nice and cosy for travel and will arrive in a box a tad larger than the plate!

The blue planet...This pretty little dish reminds me of images you see of the earth from space. I am selling it at a slightly reduced rate because some of the glaze has stained the underside of the dish. Otherwise it is a perfectly good and pretty little dish that could be used as a decorative piece or to hold precious items, teabags, dips etc.

It was formed from porcelain clay and has had vintage lace pressed into the wet clay before firing. It has been fired twice in my kiln and food safe glazes have been used.

A couple entwined in a loving embrace, almost floating towards an open door in the distance. I originally did a painting of this image and liked it so much I decided I wanted to do the same thing but in fabric. The end result is a mixture of all sorts of fabrics, stitching, paper, thread, acrylic paint and even ink and bleach combined to make this very original artwork.The whole thing is layered and been sewn onto a piece of muslin. It would look wonderful either mounted onto canvas or in a box frame.

The piece measures 19 inches x 13 inches and will arrive unmounted and unframed, ready for you to display it however you wish. It will be signed and dated by me on the back.
