The Technique I used for each card:
I made a collage, using recycled tourist maps, magazines and posters. I drew on the collage, using acrylic paints, and scanned the result to the computer for final settings.

The cards from this series look great when printed and are rather big (you can frame a card and hang it on the wall) and they can also serve as fun solitaire games – they are packed with images, bits of sentences, pieces of different maps and photos from different geographic locations. You can scrutinize each card for hours exploring all the surprising details that are used to create the larger objects.

Getting closer to Hanukkah with the cold of the winter just around the corner I drew this wintry image combination of the tree of life and the Hanukkah menorah.
this can make a great unique Hanukkah gift (especially if you have a friend to whom you want to give the Jewish equivalent of a Christmas tree :-) ).

I painted it with acrylic colors and later applied glaze to protect it. I colored the curvy frame with copper metallic acrylic paint for perfect holiday feeling.

I “framed” the card with an old ancient-style illustration that is inspired by traditional Ketubah .
