Handmade with love in California, over two dozen blue and purple glass beads are wire wrapped (18 gauge) along the handle of each serving utensil (from Crate and Barrel, measuring 9 3/4" long by 2 1/4" wide by 1/2" at neck). Beads cover 6" of the handles.

It goes without saying that these need to be hand washed. I don't recommend getting the wire/beads wet at all. In other words, don't use these with guacamole ;)
