This listing is for ONE note card featuring my 35mm photograph, New Year's Sunset.

This photo was snapped at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough, Maine, as the sun was setting on January 1, 2004. I was on the beach by myself, and struck by the frigid winter cold that seemed such a contrast to the fiery sunset reflecting off the beach grass.

The folded landscape-oriented note card measures 5.5" wide and 4.25" tall. It is printed on glossy white card stock (matte on the inside) with a UV coating. It comes with a white envelope. Please note that the color on your monitor may vary from the color of the actual card.

Media includes acrylic paint, ink, pages from books, and a print of an original charcoal sketch. The edge of the canvas is trimmed in black satin ribbon which is tabbed at the corners. There are two loop hooks attached by wire on the back of this piece so it is ready to display on your walls. It is also signed and dated on the back.

Luella's Umbrella original mixed media art

This work was inspired by my toddler son, who used to call an umbrella a "luella." Drawing on the cuteness of his little voice and mispronunciation, I made Luella a small, sleepy mouse who's trying to keep dry.

Luella's Umbrella is acrylic, scrapbook paper and papers cut from magazines and ink on 8"x8" wooden board. At about two inches thick, it looks great hanging on a wall or free standing on a desk or bookshelf.

They are prints of original collages I created; I drew, cut and pieced each image by hand. The original materials included a variety of types of paper, ink, charcoal and glue. The images are accompanied by snippets of mpPA lyrics. They are printed on white 15-point card stock that measure 4” x 6”. The side with the image is glossy, and the back is blank except for a small label with artist info centered at the top. These are suitable for the mail, or you can keep them for yourself.
