If I’d lived near that building growing up, I’d have imagined he came down off the cornice and followed me around. Of course he would have been able to talk, and I’d have invented my own personal C.S. Lewis book. I’d probably have very nearly failed third grade because my imaginary adventures with my winged lion were more interesting than multiplication.
