Fun and funky vintage Mexican lotteria pictures... love 'em!
I chose my favorites and made them into pendants. This one's a rooster, or "el gallo."

Glass tile pendant is 1"x2" and hangs on a 20" ball chain (you can snip it shorter if needed). Silverplate bail.

When I found these beads I went nuts, because they look like they could have been drawn by my FAVORITE folk artist, Terrell Powell. (Google him: his work is awesome!) I love the colors, the irregularities, the whimsy... just pure joy... just like Terrell's art.
I decided to put them on leather, because I liked the way the leather added some softness and texture. The clasp isn't showing because I'm actually waiting to see how long you want it! :o)

These are such great "jeans" earrings: simple circles of dyed blue shell with a simple ball of sterling silver. You'll find yourself reaching for these time and time again.

Did you know that the yummy Tex-Mex food called a "chalupa" is so named because it's shaped like a boat? Now you know!

Matthew 28 19 mission bracelet

Daisy Cross on Colorful Seed Beads

Petite Colorful ID Lanyard

This cheerful lanyard is shorter than average (28" as opposed to 36"), and the focal beads are smaller than on most of my lanyards. Just right for a more petite person. Cobalt blue seed beads are accented by all kinds of bright, cheerful beads, including four ladybugs! Too cute! Silverplate swivel clasp, magnetic clasp at back for emergency release. This could also be easily made into an eyeglass lanyard.

Child's Pencil Can and Pencils

These collage pencil cans have been popular, but I was repeatedly asked if I would make some for kids. Anything to make homework a little more appealing, right?
Here I used lots of blues and boy-themed pics: dogs, sports, maps, critters, a dinosaur, a fish, a turtle, a truck, a baseball... and a dozen natural wood pencils tied with twine. Fun!

Lots of fun things I found in reds to decorate this upcycled veggie can: a rooster from a Mexican lotteria card, sheet music, text from vintage books, magazine pictures, and Psalm 118:24, which I wrote with my very own hand: "This is the day the Lord has made. We shall rejoice and be glad in it."
A dozen natural wooden pencils (included) are tied with a festive organza ribbon. Makes a great little gift.

Sweet Birds from Oaxaca Earrings

I love these sweet little black clay birds from Oaxaca, Mexico. (Black clay pottery, or "barro negro" is a traditional artform of the Zapote indigenous people.) Whenever you wear it, you're carrying a little piece of sunny Mexico wherever you go!

I love primary colors... and this little glass tile pendant, which sports a happy paisley in reds, yellows and blues, can't help but make you feel just a little cheerier.
