Penelope Art Doll Shadow Box

$60.00
Penelope, Penny to her friends, is alone in her PJs at her little apartment. Her plants, which she tends and loves, bloom nearby, beneath the light of a floor lamp. She is lonely and wondering when her life will begin. We've caught her just as she ripped open a pillow in a moment of frustration and yearning. Hence, the feathers.

This is an original one of a kind collage shadow box. Penny is an altered doll form with a clay face, blushed and handpainted by me. She wears cotton pink pajamas. Everything is firmly in place.

The box is made of oak and glass. It measures 8 inches wide and 5 and 3/4 inches tall.

This is my favorite art doll ever and a joy to make; I hope the buyer will get as much satisfaction.

Thanks for looking! And remember, 25% of all sales go to Out of the Woods animal rescue.
Vintage Kissing Dolls- SALE

$30.00
I have no idea how old these are. My father found them in the attic of our house, which hasn't been cleaned out for at least 15 years. But I just can't judge how old they are. The box they were in was falling apart, but the dolls are in perfect condition. Their heads and joints move. According to the box, they are Bisque Porcelain kissing dolls. They do not smell musky and are very clean on pretty white stands. Each is 14 inches tall. I've looked all over them and have yet to find a signature or identifying mark. They are quite beautiful, and if I had a daughter I would keep them. But having children is a long way away for us, so I'm offering them to you. The clothes are very well done, perfectly fitted in, I suspect, some polyester blend. You may buy one for $15 or the pair for $30.

$42.50
Swinging with her eyes closed, Josie June imagines she can fly, all the way to heaven where angels lounge on cottonball clouds and the skies are always blue. Swinging helps Josie imagine the future when she and her 11 sisters are grown up, and Josie's the famous one. She's singing a beautiful song for important people, and all her sisters are in the audience cheering her on.

Molly May is Josie June's big sister...Her other sisters are coming soon.

Josie is a bendi doll with a Polymer clay face, dusted with micah powder and handpainted. Her hair is yarn. Her swing is securely held from above. I drilled holes in the insert and hot glued it and the string to the top of the box, so everything is secure but hidden. She sits on an altered popsicle stick. She has a flower sticker in her hair with a crystal in the middle. Layers of finely cut grass sits in the fore and in the background.

The display box is 8 in. tall 6 in. wide and 2 1/2 in. deep.

Thanks so much for looking!
