I just love this dress! The fabric is a smooth, soft poly silk that feels so good. It is striped in such vibrant color, it caught my eye and I thought "oooh, Jamaica...".

However, no matter how the dress makes me feel, it wasn't until I learned that fellow Etsian monkeysalwayslook enjoyed the film "The Parrots of Telegraph Hill" that I realized the name for the dress. It's color and feel are synonymous and the photos don't do it justice. You should check it out :-)

About the dress: it has side pockets, tie halter neck, elastic back, side zip with hook and eye closure. It is lined in the bodice and the full length hem falls to the ankle.

This sophisticated cocktail/evening dress is made of a slinky, knit, geographic print fabric that hangs on the body. The overall color is cappucino, with diamonds made of chocolate and burned orange hues, and gold sparkles threaded throughout. It is pullover style, finger-pressed, with a low v-neck front and even lower v-neck back. Back ties below the nape at neckpoint. It is mediumweight, slightly fitted, with the hem falling right at mid-knee. It is solidly constructed with serged seams throughout and reinforced using a couture running stitch to avoid seam slippage.

Stretch fabric is made of 98% polyester/2% lurex. Custom version can be made in any fabric.

Sizing. Medium to large ready to ship - measured flat:

31" across waistband (2" wide)
11 3/4" from shoulder top to waistband top
The waistband stretches 6 to 8 inches further.
