The January artwork from my 2010 Fairy Tales series.
Based on "The Snow Queen" by Hans Christian Andersen. The Snow Queen's bees are taking Kai's ice skates through swirling icy winds.

Print is personally signed and numbered by me. Dated on the back.

It was produced using pigment based inks; archival for 200 years, won't fade, and is waterproof. The paper is of premium-luster finish heavyweight archival quality which produces the most vibrant long-lasting color. Image was photographed to represent original colors, but your monitor colors may vary the colors slightly.

Actual print is 8" x 10" on 8.5" x 11" paper with a white border for easier matting.
Made to fit a standard size mat and frame.

Shipped flat with backing board to protect the print.

The Hierophant card in the tradition Tarot deck depicts the Pope. Here the Pope and religion have been replaced with the Economy and industrial dogma. No matter what fiscal ideals you hold dear, you have to admit it's fun to see a bull and bear dance.

The traditional Hanged Man Tarot card features the gentleman strung up by one leg. Here the victim is a woman dangling ominously over an unfinished game of (what else) hangman. The answer to the game is "Strange Fruit" the title of the haunting song about lynchings in the South.
