As a child in the City of Peter the Great, Петербу́рг, she walked often along the banks of River Neva, gathering small odd treasures. Gifts borne from the water, littles that could easily be tucked into her apron pockets for later safekeeping in her secret treasure box.

Years later, at a worldly and womanly age best left undisclosed, she opens her long forgotten childhood box of river keepings. Nestled deep among stones, shells and water smoothed bits of wood, she spies a crumpled scrap of velvet. Pulling the threadbare fabric from the box, a glittering blaze of blue falls into her lap. With girlish delight, she raises aloft her most magical, most treasured childhood totem...her precious river gift from the Neva.

With a small smile of recollection, she muses...certainly a piece of broken jewelry, lost overboard from one of the royal boats that ferried the Imperial Russian court ladies to and from the Winter Palace on the banks of the Neva.

We've repurposed this dreamy blue treasure for you. Once again beautiful, these sparkling rhinestones grace our cuff bracelet in an elegant sentiment of a foregone past.

Antiqued brass filigrees are riveted to overlay the stainless steel cuff. The vintage blue rhinestone crystal topper (upcycled from an earring) creates visual drama in this very feminine cuff.

Fully sequined with round black shiny sequins this darling little toque measures 8 inches" across. Approximately 2 1/2 to 3 inches in crown depth.

It's lined with an open weave black millinery mesh, outer under edge is finished in grosgrain ribbon. Two elasticized black loops are attached at beret outer edge for use with bobby pins or clips to secure beret to your hair.

A wired, sequined black bow tie is attached to the side of the beret. It looks quite chic when worn tilted on the side of the head with the bow ends framing your cheek or the bow laying at an angle across the forehead.

A turn of the century upcycled vintage brooch with a beautiful repousee lily flower design holds center stage on this lacy cuff. The silver plate brass brooch has areas of wear which only adds to it's rich patina. It measures 2" x 1.5".

Luxurious black velvet encircles the wrist with a fall of black needlework point de spri net lace resting a top gathers of black illusion net. A delicate black Venice Lace medallion rests under the silver brooch with ruffles of sheer black chiffon and ombre plum-purple ribbons. Layers of vintage textiles and laces create dramatis personae. Silky soft plum-purple fabric is overlaid with black satin cage lace from a vintage mantilla. Layers of sheer black chiffon and black illusion tulle create a delicate tattered ruffle. The belt is constructed of four way lycra stretch black velvet fabric. The decorative applique is a re-dyed plum color vintage sequined 1930-40's fabric trim with a handmade black velvet rose. Scheherezade...most precious pearl of the hareem, storyteller of One Thousand and One Nights, the most celebrated Sultane of Persia.

This is her cuff, created in royal colors of purple and gold. Six petal cutouts in gold illusion mini tulle lay on top of three gathered, softly ruffled fabric layers; the bottom layer is purple plum taffeta, the next layer is gold mini tulle and the upper layer is a beautiful gold thread embroidered purple poly satin, edged with a hand sewn border of ombre purple ribbon.

This wrist wrap will hold it's shape as it has three layers of fabric. A sturdy black cotton weave lays next to the skin. A layer of interfacing is between the black cotton and the fleur de lis patterned, gold thread embroidered purple satin. The upper edging is golden mesh ribbon with sewn on woven gold ribbon that may be tied into three pretty bows up nape of the wrist. The piece de resistance is the gorgeous gold French bullion embroidered applique that holds in its center one vintage rose pink teardrop shape glass jewel.

Many hours of hand sewing have made this lovely piece of hand adornment, a cuff made for princesses and queens.

These exotic shoulder sweeping earrings are created from fine Venise black lace and black fringe. Dramatic in their appearance, seductive with their movement, these are the earrings of a sophisticated coquette.

Silvery white organza, bits of old lace, a fluff of devore silk velvet with black tulle and solid black velvet set the stage for this piece of adornment. A 15x20mm oval cabochon faux glass opal with bright fire nestles in the center of the fascinator, small crystal rhinestones sparkle from here and there in the petals of the rose. Hand strung vintage silver bugle beads with Swarovski opal white bicones swign below the rose next to black tassel trimmings. This piece may be worn as a fascinator or as a brooch. We have attached a hair comb and a safety clasp pin to the velvet round on the back.

The skirt is double sided black velvet lycra stretch fabric wraps around the hip for wearing comfort. Layers of sheer fabrics fall from the attached solid pale lavender pink underskirt. The sweet fabric layers are a compliment of embroidered black net lace and black sheers with vintage pink pleated lingerie textile. A drop of sheer pink georgette layers adds allure with the side flounce.

Front zip waspie (very easy to get in and out of) with multi-layers of over-sewn textile strips that fall in a tattered uneven bottom edge. Your wrist is wrapped in plum color satin, overlaid by black rose motif lace and tied at the hand nape with black satin ribbons. Hand dyed charcoal gray lace lies above tatter edge black crystal pleat sheer. A fluff of black feathers tease from under the edge of the magnificent crystal rhinestone star applique (3.75 inch from tip to tip). Tumbling 3 inch black fringe keeps company with a rosette of black point de sprit lace and one vintage rhinestone button which is cupped by a silver filigree. Lovingly hand sewn and imbued with artistic soul.
