Substantial rings of pure white silver are hand textured for visual and tactile interest. There are three textures to choose from: water, sand, and driftwood (picture one, from left).

These rings have been hand formed on my new favorite tool, and antique Italian quadrillion mandrel (say that 3 times fast!). This technique creates a band that is super comfortable, with softly round angles. I love the shape it creates.

Sweet little post earrings, made with argentium sterling silver, 18kt bright yellow gold, and 2 conflict free white diamonds (1.7mm).

To make these earrings I permanently fused a thin disk of 18kt gold to a sturdy base disk of argentium sterling. This is not gold plate, it will not wear away. It's a substantial little disk that you can see is raised from the bottom disk when you look at the profile. In the center I flush set two sparkly diamonds and surrounded the stones with textured facets in a burst pattern. They are cute and shiny!

I use argentium sterling silver, a new type of silver that has the same silver content as traditional sterling, but is more durable with a nicer color and a greater resistance to tarnish. I love it!

This is the first in my new collection of rings created to have an ancient feel. I love ancient history, especially when it involves incredible women. Hatshepsut reigned for around 20 years and she is generally acknowledged as one of the greatest pharaohs of ancient Egypt, building multiple monuments and commissioning endless sculptures of the royal person...there are so many, apparently, that almost every museum will have a Hatshepsut piece!

This ring is formed of 3 bands of textured recycled argentium sterling silver. A gorgeous 5mm peachy red genuine Oregon Sunstone is wrapped in a thick circle of 14kt gold that has been given a heavy satin finish. It's a lovely ring, substantial without being heavy. I think it's absolutely gorgeous, especially the color combination of the gold, white silver and the deep coral of the stone.

I'm from Oregon originally, so it doesn't surprise me that such a stunning rock like the Oregon Sunstone comes from such a lovely state. This stone is beautiful, but like most beautiful things, it is not perfect. There is a slight misting of inclusions on one side of the stone that creates a shimmery effect. I actually prefer the stones with this sort of character to the perfect ones, but some people like stones to be completely eye clean, so I thought I would mention it here.

An organic take on the traditional three stone ring.

This is my favorite way to set stones by far. I love the subtlety, but also the solidity of the setting.

3 hand formed recycled silver settings wrap tightly around 3 brilliant cut stones. Lovely gems, with lots of sparkle. I use argentium sterling silver, a new type of silver that has the same silver content as traditional sterling, but is more durable with a nicer color and a greater resistance to tarnish. I love it!
