This petite scrunchie reminds me of pretty Easter eggs peeking out of the new spring grass. It will hold thick ponytails securely, but isn't too big for a little girl to wear. I crocheted it from acrylic yarn around a metal-free elastic. The multicolored pastel yarn has a shiny strand running through it for extra allure.

This small scrunchie measures 3 1/2" (9 cm) across and 6" (15 cm) around when laid flat. The elastic band is 5" (13 cm) in circumference.

Crochet your own hair accessories with my simple pattern! These scrunchies are a great way to keep your hair out of your face, use up yarn remnants, and add a splash of color to your wardrobe.

This pattern contains no abbreviations and uses only basic stitches, so beginning crocheters should have no problems with it. It calls for a small amount of light or baby weight yarn, an F/5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook, and a hair elastic big enough to hold a ponytail. The scrunchie you make will be approximately 3 1/2" (9 cm) across and 6" (15 cm) around when laid flat -- size may vary depending on the size hair elastic used and how tightly you crochet.

They're not waterproof, but it will take quite a bit of rain to penetrate them. The yarn is a khaki color with a cocoa-brown strand running through it.

These mittens are 10" long, 5" wide across the palm, and 7" around at the wrist. They're a bit big on me, and they also fit my husband, but he has fairly small hands, so I'm marking these as medium.

This hat is quite large -- 26" around and 8 1/2" tall. It fits my husband, who has a larger-than-average head, so it should fit anyone with a large head or lots of hair.

Crochet your own enchanting finger puppets from my original pattern! This pattern has instructions for three puppets: a princess, a knight, and a dragon. These puppets are perfect for Waldorf-style imaginative play.

This pattern calls for light- or medium-weight yarn in small amounts of grey, peach, pink, green, red, and brown, but you can really use any color combination you wish. You will need one F/5 (3.75mm) hook and a yarn needle. It contains no abbreviations, and uses only basic crocheting stitches and French knots, and I'd call it easy, but not for beginners, though I'd be happy to coach a beginner through any parts that confuse them. I'm always happy to answer questions if something in a pattern is a little unclear.
