Here is a nice Asian theme charm bracelet with jade-colored glass drops and plastic cabochons. There are 9 charms: 4 green glass drops and five goldtone figural charms. The center charm depicts two men fishing with a green rhinestone studded fishing net. Flanking them, are two seated women figures and at the ends there are two containers with green plastic cabs. The goldtone bracelet has some fading but no spot areas of wear. It is 7" long with a foldover clasp. This bracelet is not signed.

Here is a beautiful early 1900s black enamel bracelet with an etched gold-filled floral motif. One side has only the black enamel with framed with some delicate etch-work. The other side has the floral etch-work. It is 1/4" wide with an approximately interior measurement of 6-3/4. It has a working thumb-release clasp and intact safety chain. It is in very good condition with very minimal surface scratches on the back. It is signed FMCO for the Finberg Manufacturing Company and 1/20 10K GF.

I have never seen a real roasted chestnuts, but I believe the color of these gorgeous 13mm tawny-brown lampwork beads must be close. Their deep rusty-brown color is accented by dots of fine silver, handmade by a glass artisan. Because they are hand-made, they are not exactly the same size and shape. I have accented these beautiful beads with sterling components including my handmade headpins and ear wires. The earrings are 1-5/8" long. They are perfect for an Indian summer, autumn or anytime.

This beautiful vintage Christmas tree brooch is a must for the collector. It is done in a goldtone finish with red, blue, green, purple and lots of clear rhinestones. It is just over 2" tall with a working pin and safety catch. It is signed "Eisenberg" on the back with no copyright mark. It is most likely from the mid 1940's - 1950's. It is in excellent condition.

This large vintage brooch has fabulous blue glass rhinestones that are open set. The largest marquise is at the center and measures 1-1/4" long! The five stones underneath are 1" and are a bit of a lighter blue. They are set in a base metal with a goldtone finish which shows wear commensurate with age. It measures 3" x 1-3/4" and is signed Regal Khan Inc. The back shows the soldering points that do not have the goldtone finish. The pin and safety clasp work fine.

Here is a great vintage Trifari sterling silver flaming torch pin designed by Alfred Philippe and patented in 1948 (design patent #149087). It is 3-1/2" long and quite substantial considering the long, thin design. It has rhinestones on the handle as well as in the flame. None are missing though one or two are becoming dull with age. The pin and safety pin work fine despite a slight bend in the straight pin. The back of the flames are stamped Trifari with the crown over the T, "Sterling", and Pat. Pend. The patent was eventually awarded as noted above. It is a great collector's piece

Vintage Oval Rhinestone Figural Peacock Brooch

Here is a beautiful vintage rhinestone peacock c 1940s. It is made of a silver base metal with a shiny silver finish. The peacock is covered with oval rhinestones and aqua round rhinestones with a small round red rhinestone eye. One round red rhinestone is most likely a replacement as it is a different shade of red, and at least one of the aqua rhinestones appears to be a replacement as well. The brooch is 2-1/2" x 1-1/2" and has a working pin and safety catch. It is signed KC with no copyright or other markings. There is some finish wear commensurate with age. I have not seen this particular style of peacock brooch before and I'm sure it would be a great find for the collector.

This beautiful Native American made bracelet has a beautiful butterfly design accented with a large bright turquoise stone and a rectangular piece of coral or spiny lobster. The stones are saw-tooth set. In between the leaf, berry and swirl design is a matte niello black finish that has a rub mark near the coral. It is not a scratch. The bracelet is 1-5/8" wide at the top and tapers to 3/8" near the opening. It is hallmarked with a bear paw and the initials JN. It is not marked for silver content yet I am confident that it is sterling. Using my letter scale (I don't have a jewelry scale), it shows that this bracelet weighs approximately 1 ounce. I have been told that this piece is most likely Navajo.

Hummingbirds are the most amazing creatures. This one has beautiful shades of purple, blue, green and a bit of red. She is drinking from a pink trumpet flower, caught by the photographer in mid hover. The pendant in which this little beauty is housed measures 1-3/8" long. It is a pewter color. The photo is sealed in resin for protection and longevity. It hangs from a 1 mm black leather cord with a sterling plated spring clasp. It is 16" long but a 2" extension chain can be ordered at no extra cost. This would make a lovely gift for the lover of hummingbirds or nature in general. And Mother's Day is quickly approaching as well.

The bust I use in my photographs is not life size (pretty small actually). This makes the pendant look larger than it would on a real person.

This pendant necklace was made from an old watch crystal. I placed a beautiful hummingbird photo inside and sealed it with resin. The pendant casing has a goldtone finish which shows some light wear which adds to its character. The crystal is surrounded with a ring of clear round rhinestones. I've added a clear Swarovski crystal on the bail for a bit more sparkle. The pendant is 1-1/2" long including the bail. It hangs from an 18" goldtone chain with a lobster clasp.

I love these Chinese dragon pins! They are colorful and quite detailed. This one has white, purple, blue, green and deep plum colored enameling. All is intact with a rub mark on the tip of one side of the blue enameled tail. There is also a gold spot on the other side of the blue tail detail (this is on top of the enameling and not a rub mark). The pin is stamped "S925" under one of the pieces on his head. The pin measures 1-3/4" across by 1-3/8" tall. The pin and safety clasp work fine. I do need to tell you that there is some movement in the tail (it is not soldered to the head) so the pin moves forward and back if you move the tail forward and back.

I find this pin to be a bit of an enigma with clues to its age being a bit confusing. It appears to be made of silver (content unknown as it is not marked) with an open set, small shell cameo at the center. There are four marcasites accenting the piece. It measures 1-1/2" across with a working pin and safety clasp. The back is textured as shown.

Here is a great, detailed enamel and rhinestone horse and chariot vintage brooch. It is 2-1/4" x just under 1-1/2". I'm unsure of the metal used but it is almost bronze in color. On the back there is evidence of some gold-plating (most is gone). The horses, chariot, the rider's cape and hat are all enameled. The horses have some rhinestones on their harnesses and there's one at the front of the chariot. The enamel is in very good condition with very minimal wear. The pin and safety catch work fine. I can find no markings.

Here is a neat retro "Lunch at the Ritz" brooch that can also be worn as a pendant. Although it's true name is not know (at least to me!), I've dubbed it Planes, Trains and Automobiles as that's just what's on this brooch (plus a ship)! The top piece is the airplane with a goldtone propeller and prong-set rhinestone or crystal. From the round piece that is behind the plane are three dangling pieces--one is a ship with two prong-set rhinestones (named "Lunch!), the middle one appears to be an old-fashioned taxi cab with a clear rhinestone, and the last dangle is of a train--the engine and two linked cars; all with AB rhinestones. This large brooch is 5 long and has a pin and safety clasp along with a pendant bale. It appears to be in very good condition with no chips, scratches or the like. It is hand signed "Lunch at the Ritz" with a hand-drawn copyright symbol. Research suggests that this pin is from the 1970s. It's perfect for the traveler in your life.
