All hand-knitted from a tweedy yarn (Acrylic, nylon, alpaca and viscose blend) which is lovely and soft. It is a perfect trans-seasonal piece! Has short sleeves and is versatile as you have the option of wearing the "collar" rolled over under the shrug for a streamlined look, or roll it out to add a collared look. Very comfortable as well as there are no swingy bits to get in the way.
Blend consists of: 45% acrylic, 24% nylon, 16% alpaca and 15% viscose. Care: warm hand wash, short spin dry, don't bleach or tumble dry. Dry flat in shade, do not iron. May be dry-cleaned.
Will fit a variety of sizes as well. Measurements: 22 inches from pit to pit (across the back) - will stretch some also. Underarm seam is 5 inches and around the bottom of the sleeve is 12 inches circumference. I also have this same yarn in a beautiful grape shade. If you are interested in this in the purple shade, or a larger or smaller size, please convo me.
This will look great with jeans or gowns (and everything in between)!

Just like the grown up version! Poly cotton fabric sourced from a tablecloth (which had not been used). I guarantee you will not see another like this in a hurry!
The skirt is fully lined in white poplin and has an elastic waist for comfort. Very easy care, just toss in the washer and dryer.

11.25 inches long
Model is three years old, but is very small for her age, more like a size 2T, and as you can see it fits her well.

OOAK smock top in cotton. Handmade by me in a smoke and pet free studio. Very fashionable at the moment, and versatile as you can wear this in summer with shorts or pants, or in winter with jeans and a turtleneck. Floaty sleeves, long back zipper, dart shaping and fully lined bodice make this a really comfy top as well. I love these colors also! I believe this fabric is hand-printed. It sure looks great anyway. Measurements are: Max 34" bust, 31" underbust and hips free. Length is 29" shoulder to hem. Hand wash, dry in shade, no bleach, warm iron, may be dry-cleaned.

Appliqued from an offcut of lovely cotton fabric, this cute little bird tote will bring smiles wherever you take it. It has been securely fixed onto an unbleached calico bag with fusible webbing and then appliqued with zig zag stitching. This bag will last a long time. Now, when you look down and say "gosh darn it, I've got sushi down my skirt" it's supposed to be there! Garment has a hidden side zipper and measures: Waist: 30 inches, hip 44 inches, length 23.5 inches.

This awesome chair design is by Arne Jacobsen (of Egg chair fame) and here is rendered in vinyl on a cotton tote bag. Take a little mid-century design with you wherever you go!
Vinyl has been fused to the bag and then zig zag stitched, with stitch accents. You can wash these bags - cold delicate wash, dry in shade and warm iron on the wrong side only.

Made from a circular tablecloth which was in very good (unused I think) condition (no holes, rips or fading), this skirt is one of a kind! The green color is very lovely and green and white is such a fresh combination that I have named this one after spring. It has been hemmed all around by machine, and a zipper has been added. The waistline is first bound in fabric tape to avoid stretching and then bound in green bias binding to match the fabric. The size is small, about an 8. Measurements:
Waist: 29 inches (73 cm)
Hips: free
Length: 31 inches (79 cm)

This cute summer top is so easy to wear - it just pulls over your head. Elasticated sleeves and neck (but not tight elastic) make for a comfy fit. I love the retro inspired stylized floral fabric too. It is a poplin type fabric, very cool to wear in the Aussie heat this summer!

I owe a lot to my friend Catherine who lent me a copy of a wonderful Golden Book called Bow Wow! Meow! The clothes pictured on the children in the book were a great inspiration to me and so I have launched this range of fun, retro, comfortable and easy to care for clothing for kids.
This is the first offering - an adorable summer play suit! The top is floral poplin with a simple zip-back closure and the pants are also in poplin in a plain lavender shade. They simply pull on and have an elastic waist for comfort. Both pieces are easy care and can be machine washed and dried. I will custom make this for you in sizes 1T -4T. Model is wearing a size 2, but feel free to send your child's measurements so that I can get the correct fit.

Beautiful sundress made by me from new old stock DELICIOUS vintage fabric. The fabric is good quality cotton and has been pre-shrunk. The bodice is lined with poly cotton yellow poplin. I would estimate this as a size 8-10. Measurements are: Bust: max 35 inches, waist 27 inches, hips free and length from center front to hem is 37 inches. I have more of this fabric including some with the same color fruit but on a deep sky blue background, so if you would like this in a different colorway, or a different size, I would be happy to make it up for you. I LOVE custom orders. Please convo me! The colors are bright yellow, pale and deeper lime green and the background is a deep coral color. They are looking a bit washed-out on my monitor, they are vibrant, but not neon, in real life.

This reminds me of the twenties cloches that Millie wore in "Thoroughly Modern Millie". It's handknitted by me in pure wool, with a navy accent thread around it and a removeable wool felt flower. The flower is able to be buttoned on and off as you wish. This hat fits most heads and stretches up to about 24 inches.

Toadstool top / dress

This apron top is made from a 1970's pattern and is a wrap-around design. Very cool styling! It has two patch pockets at the front, one of which is appliqued with two tumbling toadstools. The applique is accented with hand embroidery. The garment is made of hard-wearing yet comfortable stretch canvas in tan and topstitched with red quilting thread. The model is wearing it over jeans and a long sleeved tee, but you could also wear it over a top as a mini dress. The top wraps around and one of the tie ends goes through a gap in the side seam. This then ties around the waist in a bow or knot, whichever you prefer. Made for a bust measurement of 36-38 inches. It's pretty adjustable, so would fit a bit smaller or larger than that also. Top to bottom front center measures 29 inches.
PLEASE NOTE: there has been some confusion about this item. It is NOT meant as an apron, but is a top / dress that is styled like an apron.

Handmade by me in white stretch canvas with appliques of yummy seafood. Appliques include a crab, a lobster, some shrimps, oysters, lemon and dill. Classic shape skirt with 4 gores and wide waistband. Zipper and hook and eye at the center back. Very comfortable and very classic.

Hips: 46 inches max
Length: 27 inches waistband top to hem
84 inches around at the bottom for major dance floor impact!
