The Pink Opaque. 2009.

Multiple exposures across 4 film frames (see 2nd image). Shot with a twin lens reflex camera on 35 mm slide film (cross-processed). This allows for the image to expose across the entire surface of the film, including the sprocket holes.

Photo is 5"x15", and can be displayed as either a landscape or vertical panorama (my personal preference). This image would look best matted to a panoramic frame (10x20 or comparable). Aaron Brothers has 8x18 frames, as well as multi-photo frames that also work if you pull out the "multi-window" mat it comes with.

Great Wall DF-2 vintage medium format SLR camera.
First manufactured in China in the 1970s.
A rare beauty not easily found here in the states.

I've got three of these lovelies, so I decided it was time to let one go. This camera creates wonderful portraits with a vintage nostalgic feel and soft edges. The Great Wall has a small (but growing) cult following. See photos shot with this camera in this listing, and in the flickr photo group.

Shoots medium format 120 film (readily available).
All shutter speeds work 95% of the time. The "B" setting sometimes sticks or doesn't keep the shutter open. It has been tested with film, please see additional photos for actual shots I took with this camera.

The film compartment door is held in place with 2 hinges, one of which is missing. This does not affect the use of the DF-2 and I have not had any issues with light leaks while shooting with it.

Necropolis of the Banditaccia, Cerveteri, Italia - 2001

After a period of intense rainstorms, many of the Cerveteri Tombs were flooded. The rain, which was still pouring down outside as I shot this, wet my lens and caused an unintentional (but much-appreciated) blur on this photo. There was about 2 feet of water in this particular tomb. The tiny ledge I stood on was incredibly slippery and I was trying to stop shivering long enough to take the photo.

Shot on 35mm slide film (and cross-processed) using a twin lens reflex camera. This allows for the image to expose across the entire surface of the film, including the sprocket holes.

Image also available WITHOUT the sprocket holes, please contact me for more info.

Print will ship sandwiched between 2 pieces of cardboard, inside a cardboard mailer box.
