Johnny Rotten Anarchy Mitts
These gloves were originally hand knitted by Alabama Whirly from her own pattern whilst listening all the while to her Fidelity old record player. These Union Jack gloves are a homage to The Sex Pistols, Johnny Rotten and God Save the Queen (the record).

Recommended Yarn:
The yarn is hand dyed by Skein Queen, Desire, DK / 8 ply (11 wpi) 100% merino, DK weight yarn, dyed in the UK, machine wash on cool cycle
The hand dyed yarn will have variations but we love that for our complete glove anarchy.

Reverse Olive Snooks daisy gloves - MEDIUM

These gloves are inspired by yarn I got from http://skeinqueen.etsy.com. I have been itching to knit something with it, in my head I could see what it was.

The fairisle pattern is almost a circle that shifts along on each repeat. The pattern is knit in snooks yarn and the thumb has a different pattern. The right hand gloves circles lean to the left, the left hand gloves lean to the right.

In my head I was thinking of circles and strange quirks and sunny days. These are my own design and are made using a fairisle technique of weaving both yarns at the same time which also makes them very warm.

They have been handknitted by me using squash, a beautiful handdyed yarn of merino created by http://skeinqueen.etsy.com and an undyed 100% merino yarn.

These gloves, handknitted by me measure approx 18 cms/ 7.5" in length. At the widest point (at base of thumb) the width of these gloves are approx 18cm/ 7".

These gloves are completely fingerless but if you would like similar with fingers, hobo fingers, or thumbless please convo me and I will see what I can do.

Handwash only in cool water.

These gloves are inspired by a trip to Portugal and the tiled buildings along the edge of the sea. The yarns are toasted walnut and cactus flower by the talented http://sunshineyarns.etsy.com.

These gloves, handknitted by me measure approx 19 cms/ 7.5" in length. At the widest point (at base of thumb) the width of these gloves are approx 16-17cm/ 6 - 6.5".

I wanted to make some gloves from this yarn ever since I saw it in someone else’s stash, I had been itching to knit something with it and in my head I could see what it was. The colourway is from a series of yarns created by Skeinqueen, inspired by Pushing Daisies TV series. The fairisle pattern is almost a circle that shifts along on each repeat. I love making things with secrets and these gloves have a secret, on the palm side there is a snowflake design. The gloves are made in the round, using a stranded technique so they are warm and perfect for catching snowflakes with.

Recommended Yarn
The yarn is hand dyed by Skein Queen. Desire, a lovely and squidgy superwash merino. 100% merino, DK weight.

odd mitts, a mismatched pair

These mittens are made using *sky* and *carrot* Blue Faced Leicester yarn from http://www.oxfordkitchenyarns.com/shop/ and the yellow *do you like butter* yarn created by http://skeinqueen.etsy.com. The yarn is very soft and is Lambswool/Angora/Cashmere mix.

Each mitten is made specifically for each hand. The blue mitten is for the right hand, the yellow for the left.

These are created by me from my own pattern (AOP)

These gloves, handknitted by me measure approx 22cms/ 8.5" in length. At the widest point (at base of thumb) the width of these gloves are approx 20cmx/ 8".

For men who love morkers

Even aliens need a little love and these morkers are made from love and little hearts. The gloves are knitted using variegated yarn handdyed by http://sunshineyarns.etsy.com. and the little hearts are knitted from cashmerino so are very soft and loving hearts.

These handknitted gloves, made by me. are inspired by Mork, the alien character from Mork and MIndy. Dispatched from Ork in his egg-shaped spacecraft, Mork's mission is to observe the bizarre customs of the earthlings and then report back to his great Orkan leader, Orson. He tries his best to adapt to his new environment - and these gloves made specially for him will integrate him into society.

They are man-size gloves, unisex size and will fit some aliens too

Washable at low temperature or handwash.

Please note, whilst wearing these gloves you may feel a tendency to say "Naa-Noo, Naa-Noo"

These gloves are made using variegated orange yarn created by http://sunshineyarns.com and black 75% cotton/ 25%acrylic microfibre yarn

These gloves, handknitted by me measure approx 18cms/ 7"in length. At the widest point (at base of thumb) the width of these gloves are approx 20cmx/ 8".

These gloves are completely fingerless but if you would like similar with fingers or hobo fingers, please convo me and I will see what I can do.

They are one size and would fit a medium size adult. At the widest point (at base of thumb) the width of these gloves are approx 19cm/ 7.5". The gloves are made specifically for each hand and measure 26cms/10 inches long approx.

Please convo me if you would like any other sizes, but please note each are handmade and it is not always possible to exactly replicate.

The gloves are machine washable at low temperatures or can be handwashed.

This pattern was influenced by some yarn created by Skein Queen called Seven Swans and by a walk along the edge of the river and the ripples you see.
The pattern includes instructions for making handwarmers and the mittens.
