I love the look of the feather and beaded large hair clips. I decided it was time for me to recreate the look using wool (of course). This is a needlefelted piece that I attached securely to a bobby pin so that it can be worn in the hair. If you prefer a pin back to be attached please convo me and I can easily make that adjustment. This piece looks adorable just behind the ear to hold a bit of your hair off of your face. Great for a special event, or even just for fun!

The hair pin was created using clean, natural wool roving and small pink seed beads.

The last photograph shows how products will be packaged. Box size, yarn color, and daisy may vary depending on product purchased.

Breathe

Breathe is a mixture of needle felting and hand embroidering techniques inspired by Babies Breathe plants. I created a needle felted background in a turqoise blue color and added hand beaded and lace embroidered flowers.

This piece measures 6"x3" and currently is not framed or attached to any hanging devices. This piece could easily be framed and hung on the wall.

Alive is a piece that uses needle felting techniques to create the look of a contemporary leaf design. The inspiration for this piece was an olive branch. I chose a bright pink background to contrast the neutral brown of the natural wool fibers

This piece can be framed, attached to fabric and stretched on canvas stretchers, or I can attach a piece of driftwood and yarn to hang it on the wall.

Pretty little starfish pin

This is yet another needle felted pin using dyed wool. Pink and purple layered wool roving was needle felted to create a nice background for a small starfish to sit on top of. The starfish was embroidered onto the felted wool and is framed by embroidery around the edge of the pin.

A pin back is securely attached so that you can wear the pin on a jacket, purse, scarf, or wherever you need a pretty little starfish :-)

by the way...the pin is about 2.5 inches across.

The last photo is a picture of the packaging that my products will arrive in. The box size may change based on the size of the artwork purchased. Yarn colors may vary.

Blue Silk Fabric Flower Brooch/Pin

I created this flower brooch using a variety of blue fabrics. Fabrics include cotton and satin. The center of the flower is made of a mixture of blue beads. The flower is securely attached to a pinback so it can be worn on a jacket lapel (as shown) a bag or purse, on a scarf, or on a hat. This flower will add a bit of whimsical glamour to whatever you decide to attach it to.

The last picture depicts the packaging of my items before they are shipped. Box and yarn may vary depending on availability.

Of Love and Lace is a needle felted piece inspired by the lacework on a shirt that my mother wore. I used purple dyed wool for the background and white natural wool for the flower design.

This piece measures 3"x5" and would look great framed on the wall.

Funky Felted Tulip Brooch

This brooch/pin was needlefelted using clean, dyed, wool roving in yellow, blue and pink. I create this fun tulip using bright colors...makes me happy!

The pinback is securely attached so this tulip can be worn on a bag or purse (as shown) or can be worn on a shirt, jacket, hat, scarf....anywhere you can attach a pin. If you would prefer to wear this funky tulip in your hair, please let me know and I will attach a bobbi pin in place of the pinback.

Sunny Starfish Pin

This pin was created using a small starfish that I embroidered to a needle felted round shape. A yellow embroidered design was added to create a sunny look and to showcase the starfish.

Pin is attached to the back of the pin so it can be attached to a jacket, purse, hat, shirt, or other spot that could use a little sunshine :-)

This pin is 2 inches across.
