This beautiful Double Pinwheel is 12.5" square and perfect for use as a candlemat or trivet.

I used moda's fabric from Blackbird Designs called Nell's Flower Shop in the creation of the top. I batted the trivet with heat resistant batting so that you can have peace of mind in using on your table.

I have washed and dryed the trivet and you can do the same in your home machine on the delicate cycle. It can be tumble dried or dried flat.

Back by popular request! Recently, I have received several requests for purses with matching key chains/fobs and wallets, so here is the latest installment in that series.

(But no worries, I am still quilting away on the quilts of my namesake "fabricsnquilts".)

This purse is a full of character. The wonderful Marcus Brothers Batik has shades or orange, green, gray, black and sienna. I lined the purse with a marbled black cotton and tucked a pocket inside so you could easily find your keys or cell phone. A generous single strap drops 17". Great for over the shoulder or across the chest for hands-free shopping.

The purse is a great size, too. It is 14" wide the pouch is 6" tall. The total purse is 14" tall. The purse fastens with a magnetic snap inside the ruffled top, which you can see in the last picture. The matching key fob is batted. The wallet has 8 slots for your cards and a deep pocket for your cash, then fastens with a snap when folded.

Falling Scrappy Stars Twin Bed Quilt

This hand crafted twin bed quilt measures 61" x 80". I used a mix of prints for the star points, offset by a light seafoam green for the center. The borders are a solid green bordered by a green and blue floral print. The back is moda fabric from the Navaho Nation line. The pattern mirrors the falling stars of the patchwork front.

I quilted this by machine, following the pattern of the stars for the center of the quilt. In the border, I quilted a pattern of stars. The quilt is batted with Warm & Natural Cotton Batting. The binding is mitered at the corners and doubled. I have hand stitched the binding to the back.

I have washed & dryed the quilt so you can be sure this is what your quilt will look like when you do the same. Wash on gentle cycle on warm water. Dry on medium heat setting, remove promptly.

This quilt is soft & supple made with 3 layers of double nap cotton flannel. It is a generous crib quilt, measuring 39" x 32".

Rag quilts are made to be used, loved & laundered. Each time you launder the quilt, it will just get softer. Great to use for a play mat!

The front fringed side of the quilt alternates a train flannel with red. The quilt is batted with dark blue and backed with a marbled yellow flannel.

The quilt is made with 100% cotton fabrics and is machine quilted.

Inspired by the Funny Babies collection by Moda, I created this crib quilt from my own pattern. It is pieced in a scrappy fashion for fun & added interest.

Quilt is 100% cotton and machine quilted with a varigated thread for additional interest. I use Warm & Natural batting to provide a family keepsake that will last the test of time.

I have washed & dryed the quilt on regular cycle so that you know this is what the quilt will look like when you do the same. Washing gives the quilt an antiqued look that I just adore.

Using cute "Baby Bear" flannels designed by Michele D'Amore for Marcus fabrics, I added vintage Australian chenille to make this quilt oh so soft! By using smaller squares, the quilt is full of fluff and has a great Trip Around the World pattern. The quilt is batted with double nap yellow flannel and backed with the same quality blue flannel.

Each block is quilted with an X. All seams joining the blocks are reinforced for durability. This quilt is made to be used AND last a lifetime!

The quilt measures 35"x35".

Lap Wheelchair Yo-Yo Quilt Round and Round We Go

This hand crafted throw quilt measures 45" x 56". Each puff is hand gathered and the entire quilt was pieced by hand.

The quilt uses dozens of fabrics set to swirl in light & dark fabrics. The front of each puff gathers up giving depth to the quilt top. I put a dimple in the back of each puff to give interest to the other side of the quilt.

Each puff in the quilt is batted with polyester filling in differnt amounts in each puff. This was intentional so that the quilt has a little more interest when laying flat.

The soft pillowy nature of the quilt is very comforting, cozy quilt to me. I have washed & dryed the quilt so you can be sure this is what your quilt will look like when you do the same. Wash on delicate cycle on warm water.

This hand crafted throw quilt measures 49" x 63". I used moda's fabric designed by Deb Strain called "Bistro".

I quilted this by machine, following the pattern of the strips on the front. The quilt is batted with fleece for a warm quilt that will retain its shape when laundered. The sashing is a mix and match of black prints from the line to add to the character of the design. The binding is mitered at the corners and doubled. I have hand stitched the binding to the back.

I have washed & dryed the quilt so you can be sure this is what your quilt will look like when you do the same. Wash on gentle cycle on warm water. Dry on medium heat setting, remove promptly.

These squares are all pieced in a "Crazy Quilt" fashion. There is no pattern to the blocks. Each is unique. Each square has at least 2 pieces of denim, but most have 4 or 5 pieces.

Each square is clean, rotary cut & free of stains AND PRESSED.

There are no patterns (florals, etc.); the denim is from used blue jeans in various shades of blue.

The photos show how the blocks look when all laid out & how the back seams look.

You will love the look of your rag quilt or tote by adding these blocks! You could make the whole quilt with these blocks, or just around the outside edge (like a border) or a cluster in the center of a quilt would also look awesome!

I handcrafted this purse with all new fabrics. The exterior prints are from the Fig & Plum collection by Joanna Figueroa for moda. The purse is batted with the deep maroon flannel that shows in the frayed seams. The purse is lined with new black denim, reclaimed from "irregular" jeans.

The Bullet Style backpack is my own design and this is the first one offered for sale.

The base of the backpack is 9.5" x 7.5" in an oval shape and the bag stands 12.5" tall. There is a deep interior pocket & exterior pocket. Both are located close to the strap so that they are securely next to the body when the bag is in use.

The strap gives a 12" drop when the purse is fully cinched up.

A vintage look with today's coolest fabrics!

I handcrafted this apron with fun and fanciful flowers on each side and paired that up with a cool yellow for the wastband, ties & pocket.

The apron takes me back to my younger days with the curving lines and shape.

The apron is reversible, with a pocket on the lighter floral side only. It measures 21" across the waistband, and is 15.5" long. The straps are each 41" long for easy tying in the front or back.
