This soap is made with clay harvested from the Dead Sea. Fed by the River Jordan, the Dead Sea has more Magnesium, Calcium and Potassium than any other body of salt water in the world. Medical research has dcoumented that the blend of powerful minerals and salts found in the Dead Sea is highly beneficial for the relief of various skin problems.

Jade is a term for two different gems, nephrite and jadeite. Jadeite is emerald green and so beautiful and rare that it has become exorbitantly expensive.

Auamarine is a gemstone-quality variety of beryl in a blue or turquoise color almost like seawater. It is closely related to an Emerald. Many Aquamarine stones can be found with black tourmaline in the layers.

Ahhh..the unmistakeable smell of fresh baked Pecan Pie. The aroma of sweet Caramel flavor blended with buttery nuts will greet you when you open the box.

This soap is made with Goats milk purchased from local farmers. I have added oatmeal and Shea Butter for moisturizing and ground pecan meal for exfoliating,it's a two in one soap!

Plantable paper is "tree free" paper made using unwanted paper and embedding wildflower seeds. Plant the paper and colorful wildflowers grow! You can also use vegetable or herb seeds as well. Plantable paper is all the rage right now and is pricey. Why not make it yourself? You can become a seller or just make gifts for your friends and family. A small plantable paper card that sells for $6 on the internet actually costs less than a twenty cents to make!

You can find basic instructions on the internet but the majority of them give inaccurate or incomplete information. For example, most tell you to dry your paper using an oven or hairdryer. BUT heat will kill the germination process so the flowers will not grow. The truth is that making paper using basic instructions does not produce quality results.

Coffee Soap Inspired by Paul Friedrich/Onion Head Monster

Paul Friedrich is the creator of the popular characters Onion Head Monster and Hubie the Dead Cow (among many others). He is also the creator of HellCar comics, DVD, unconference, and empire. Paul is one of the acclaimed leaders of the Low Pop art movement. In 2007 Paul was nominated for an Eisner Award for his book, Onion Head Monster Attacks.

Paul also has an Etsy shop with some prints from his comic strips (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=590 1208) My favorite is "Evil or Coffee"... the character in the strip asks "Am I in the mood for evil or coffee?"

This has inspired me to make a coffee soap so that people can choose coffee over evil. 100% of the proceeds from this soap will go directly to the charity of Paul's choice: SafeHaven, a no kill cat shelter located in Raleigh, North Caorlina.

Soothing Soap on a Rope for Dogs

My dogs are family members and I can't bear to see them uncomfortable. This is why I researched the best ingredients to help with a variety of issues that cause concerns for their coats. I tried commercial products but found out that many of them do more harm than good!

Humans aren't the only ones who can benefit from herbs and essential oils. The combination of Pennyroyal, Eucalyptus, Citronella and Spearmint is gently cleansing. For skin irritations and hotspots, I have added Tea Trea Oil and Aloe Vera. Real oatmeal is grated and sprinkled throughout the mixture to soothe dry skin. It is topped off with Shea Butter, Vitamin E, Almond Oil, Vitamins A,D,E and Wheatgerm.

This class will teach you to make Melt and Pour soaps which can be created in many shapes and colors. Most soap making classes do not allow for participants to make their own soaps, instead you sit in class and watch the instructor as he makes soaps and lectures.

THIS class is hands on and you will have access to many different fragrances, molds and Botanicals to create your soaps. You will make three soaps to take home.

You will start with all natural Goats Milk for your soap base. Then you can add a variety of botanicals and salts for exfoliating, soothing or softening. What makes this soap exotic? All ingredients come from the Orient. Most handmade soaps use olive oil but this is made with a combination of Coconut, Sesame, Sunflower, and Ricebran oils. I chose Ricebran because it is one of the most concentrated sources of Vitamin E found in nature.

A generous mix of Asian herbs not found in the U.S are added:

Sappan herb: Known for antibaterial properies.
Soya Beans: Gentle exfolitating
Green Tea: A natural bioflavonoid-rich potent extract

Plantable paper is "tree free" paper made using unwanted paper and embedding wildflower seeds. (I actually use junkmail to make mine). Plant the paper and colorful wildflowers actually grow! You can also use vegetable or herb seeds as well. Use this biodegradable paper for greeting cards, wedding or baby shower favors, wedding confetti, funeral prayer cards, Hospice Memorial cards, Business cards, gift tags, pillow boxes, stationary and more!

Plantable paper is all the rage right now and is very pricey. The market is hot right now for all things "green" so why not make it yourself? You can become a seller or just make gifts for your friends and family. A small plantable paper card that sells for $6 on the internet costs less than a twenty cents to make!

You can find basic instructions on the internet but the majority of those articles give inaccurate or incomplete information. For example, most tell you to dry your paper using an oven or hairdryer. BUT heat will kill the germination process so the flowers will not grow. The truth is that making paper using basic instructions does not produce quality results.

This 50 page instruction book comes with step by step details and photos to assist you in making paper the right way!
