It’s a mini hat that I handfelted out of pure wool felt. It has a beautiful brownish chestnut shade (the picture looks different),and it’s very, very lightweight, so your kitty can even run around with it on (Pixie can).
Around the brim, the hat has a little wool thread, which looks like a thin rope, in a coordinated brown color. A thin elastic strap holds the hat in place, gently but securely.
~3.5” in length, 1’ height (~8.5cm x 3 cm).

Also, it is suitable for dolls and small dogs.

Cute as décor too. Just place it somewhere in sight, and give a funny answer if somebody asks something like “Whose hat is that?”

On her most recent trip, Pixie visited Ireland, where she found the grass green and people of good cheer. A party was thrown in her honor (as a supermodel) and, as a token of recognition, she was bestowed a Kiss Me I’m Irish hat. She was glad to carry the spirit of cheer and good will, but later on, pretty soon after, she realized that people were taken the hat spirit too literally (see a glimpse of the nervous wreck in pic 2).

This hat is made of pure wool, that I felted using the wet felting and needle felting technique. Size is ~3”, at the base, and ~1.6” tall (8 cm x 6 cm).
The green ribbon with white clovers reads Kiss me I’m Irish, and an elastic strap keeps the hat gently but securely attached on the pet’s head.

Also suitable for pets, dolls, or as decor.

There is a *first* for everything in this life, so if you have never seen a cat wearing a sombrero here you are.
Now, when you wonder what your pet will wear for the Halloween pictures you'll be haunted by this little guy.

This fine sombrero is my interpretation of a mariachi hat. It is handfelted from fine merino wool, then carefully hand embroidered, with shiny, golden metallic mouline. For a comfortable and secure fit it has a thin elastic cord underneath.

When she heard about a last minute modeling session, Pixie said she was busy (indeed, that afternoon she had planned to pickle some catnip for wintertime). But then I told her it was something related to 4th of July, so she left everything aside, got herself pretty, and came out right away. That Pixie is all about celebrations.

For this hat, I re-interpreted the idea of the traditional patriotic top hat. It is stylized and designed around the idea of being extremely lightweight and easy to wear by a pet.
It is was hand felted of 100% natural wool (that keeps cool in summer and warm in winter). It has two needle felted stars as embellishment, a red and a white one, attached on each other and unto the hat. The lightweight black elastic keeps the hat gently but securely attached.

This beautiful, bright, fuchsia color beret is felted (shaped by poking a barbed needle thousand of times in the wool roving, while the fibres interlock), with fine merino wool, and it’s very comfortable and lightweight. The size is ~3.7” (~10cm). A thin but secure elastic strap (~8” length) holds the beret in place on the kitty’s head.

There is a *first* for everything in this life, so if you have never seen a cat wearing a sombrero, then here you are. Now, when you wonder what your pet will wear for the Halloween pictures you'll be haunted by this little guy.

This mini sombrero is handfelted (wet felted and needle felted) and shaped of fine merino wool. The pretty turquoise/aqua color complements most of the pets, and the yellow vintage European rickrack adds a fun and cheerful accent. Also, suitable for dogs, bunnies and dolls like Blythe.
Since it is a little work of art in itself, it looks beautiful as display, too.
The size is ~ 3.5” (9 cm) at the base and 2” (5 cm) height.

Puss in boots - Halloween Pet Costume

For this modeling session, there was no way I could make Pixie wear any style of boots, even if they were the ones belonging to the famous character of a beloved fairytale. She flatly stated that she did not want to deal with the whole walking on two paws business. So, when Pixie says something, people listen. And that’s why the puss in boots costume includes only the hat and not the boots, or clothing for that matter.

So after studying the style of the European hats from the 17th century, I tried to translate that into a cat-comfortable idea, and came up with this little hat that I wetfelted and shaped accordingly out of fine Merino wool. I added a ribbon and a handmade buckle, and two feathers (different colors available), that graciously flow sideways just as the famous puss would have worn it. A thin and secure black elastic cord holds the hat comfortably in place.

The hat is also suitable for dolls, little dogs (like Chihuahua), and for other similar size pets (for which I can adjust the length of the strap as needed).

Look at Pixie modeling and trying to look like a mean witch. Like a great supermodel, she has a facial expression that is in concordance with the role she's playing (how angelic does she look in the Santa Hat?)

This listing is for a handmade, hand stitched witch hat, made of synthetic felt, with strands of polyester hair. It is attached underneath the hat, giving the illusion of a nice, modern haircut (as nice as a witch can have it, anyway). The matching color ribbon and the bow at the back of the hat complete the look, making a bold striking splash of bright color on the ebony black felt. A thin elastic strap helps this mini hat stay in place, without discomfort for an animal.
