It is hand thrown extremely thin on the pottery wheel in 2 parts. The loops are added by hand one at a time after they are created separately from coils before the final vase is assembled. This must all be don’t at precisely the right moment in the drying phase. The Vase is then fired, glaze applied and fired again to 2300 deg.
