A grandiose flower perched upon brass filigree and adorned with Swarovski crystals. The flower is made of painted aluminum, so it's very light weight, you won't even notice it's there! You'll certainly see it though, because the flower on this ring is roughly 22mm, almost an inch wide and 10mm tall!

Grandiose is currently a size 7.5 but it's adjustable from sizes 6.5 to 9. Just be careful adjusting it, try to avoid putting pressure on the delicate aluminum flower.

There aren't many things in the world more contradictory to organic tissue than metal. With so much life emerging from this seemingly, lifeless material how can you deny there's a soul present?
A must have collage, sparkling and scintillating, teaming with wings and a secret world of things unnoticed by we big folk.

At its widest point the large butterfly filigree is a whopping 4.25"(11cm) across. From its crown to its swallowtail
it is 2.75"(7cm). Its difficult to gauge the cuff size; it is +6" around, but will fit wrist sizes larger. It is adjustable like an adjustable ring would be. This cuff bracelet is actually a wire wrapped cuff and can bend and form to any wrist size; also it is fragile for this reason.

It is left to the preference of the buyer, but a safety chain can also be added (for a small cost of $3). The chain would be a precautionary measure as the back of this bracelet is open.

If there are faeries... then why can't birch tree also bare fruit? blood orange fruit?
What an amazing idea! the thought of that gorgeous citrus fruit dotting the silver crown of a whimsical birch.

While making this necklace I could get those thought out of my head. How much the dark red coral swarovski crystals reminded me of blood oranges or how the dry brushing of white on brass seemed to mock the bark of a birch.
What an amusing thought to think of fruit as one last ornament on an already beautiful tree.
Then to place it in a make-believe world of brass forests and silvery fey. Rose bushes as the thorny undergrowth, blanketing the ground. Quite the gothic fantasy =)

Hung from a repurposed 18" white curb link chain the pendant is itself is a sizable 4"(10cm) long and 2"(4cm)
across. The pendant is layer upon layer of brass stampings
of faeries, flowers, and flourishing cameo settings.
Color is added through the dry brushing of paint, swarovski crystals, and a black and crimson rose cameo.
The chain is set with capped crystals that are stagered strategically through the chain to create the effect of how nature yields fruit.

Closes with a lobster-claw lock.
As the necklace is currently 18" long chain can be added for adjustment free of charge.

PLEASE NOTE. The chain used in the necklace is yellowed and distressed, but still strong and durable. I was pleased with this particular appearance. I appreciate the charm it adds to the piece.

The Shield Maiden.

I had to give this piece a name identified with warrior women hence the Pallas figure.
And I haven't really had any pieces with any Norse/Germanic significance.
So here you have it, Brunhilde.

While this necklace has its innocent, delicate, feminine wiles it still has a sturdy, steadfast presence. She really looks like she could take a bruising.
The bright blues remind me of the wode dye used in Northern Europe the warriors would decorate their bodies with before charging into battle. The way it stands out against all the neutral and warm colors used in the rest of the necklace, I would assume their warpaint must have had that same shock value.

I have had this charm for quite some time and pleased to finally put it to use. The same goes for the beautiful palace green opal briolette =P
This necklace can apply very much to the holiday seasons and just as much to any deer lover all year long.

Copper and greens are the perfect mix when thinking of Christmas. Copper as the warm brick red of the hearth and the green as the garland that hangs from the mantle. Makes me think of sitting in front of the fire place with a warm cup of chai tea.
I don't want to forget the beautifully detailed reindeer as the pendant. Remarkably tiny detailing scrolls all over his body making him ornament like, yet the movement in his pose gives you the feeling he'll leap right out of the setting =)

When you love something, don't want to lose it, so you hold it close.
When you love something that is a secret you keep it locked, and hold the key close.

I would imagine that Mary Lennox would have found an ingenious way to never misplace her key to the secret garden. When I made this bracelet, I imagined Mary; key strung around her wrist or neck.

For some 20+ years now I have been in love with the book The Secret Garden. And every time I see an old key am reminded of it. And every time I make a piece of jewelry around an old key, want to name it for the tale.

The story is set in the late Winter season, on through the Summer. You never get a description of the garden in autumn. I LOVE fall colors, and feel like this bracelet does a good job capturing that thought... The Secret Garden: Autumn.

This bracelet is rich with decoration. I imagine a very Gothic style architecture as the foundation of the garden, so I wanted to follow suit and add much detail with lacy filigree beads caps; wire wrapping with contrasting colors; beautifully worked connector pieces; and the moody, earthy toned wire that lends a little mystery.
Vibrant bead accents in blues and fiery coppers gesture to fall leaves and crisp skies.
In length, the bracelet is 7.25"(18.5cm), with another inch to adjust it to your comfort. I closes with a lobster-claw lock.

I was originally going to call this piece December.
But I feel this piece has numerous elements that would attribute to the Christmas spirit and the nativity story.

With religious nuances of an angelic figure; a cross like pattern emerging from the filigree; encircling auras like halos; and soft and bright colors, any lover of Gothic or Rococo styled jewelry can appreciate the outrageous Baz Luhrmann appeal. Inspirations drawn from stained glass has resulted in a "bonne" of prismatic proportions.
In the Milla Jovovich film "The Messenger" this amazing scene emerges amidst all the gray and gloom that is the rest of the film's cinematography. A vision of stained glass shattering and reshaping into a celestial being, as a message to Jeanne d'Arc from heaven. This scene was to the movie as those colorful windows are to the cold gray churches.
This kaleidoscopic necklace was made to embody such thoughts. Something so gloomy and lamenting still has that faint glimmer of life. Like the words from the woman in "A knight's Tale" I believe she uses the words "riot of color" when refering to the stained glass in the dark, dank cathedral.
Many Swarovski crystals and pearls were used in the making of Bonne de Loren. I have wrapped copper wire over gunmetal and some blue wire in the connector and halo for the cross.
The necklace measures 15" with an adjustable closure, while there is another inch of allowance for adjustement. The cross measure 2.5"x1.5".
I can always change the size at no extra cost.

These earrings make me think of devious Gypsys and belly dancers. They make me think of all those exotic and dangerously alluring women I will never be.

The earrings have that undeniable bohemian vibe inspired by the tribal fusion movement. It’s that must have fringe for belly dancers of any level. They follow your every movement and lend you an ethereal presence as though you're moving through water.

Another amazing point in history to be amongst the elevated and pampered.

This necklace has subtle notes of Rococo embellishment, however not sickeningly over done (and true to form). The pendant being the only reminder, but strung on a much simpler chain to allow the pendant its glorious splendor.
All to follow a time in which fashion was trying to find its way back to the basics from a harsh and over the top period.

Swarovski and antiqued copper elements are used in the composition of this piece. A mild amount of enameling technique was also applied.

This necklace is 15" in length with another inch and a half for adjustment. It closes with a lobster claw clasp.

A grandiose flower perched upon brass filigree and adorned with Swarovski crystals. The flower is made of painted aluminum, so it's very light weight, you won't even notice it's there! You'll certainly see it though, because the flower on this ring is roughly 22mm, almost an inch wide and 10mm tall!

Grandiose is currently a size 7.5 but it's adjustable from sizes 6.5 to 9. Just be careful adjusting it, try to avoid putting pressure on the delicate aluminum flower.

This bracelet is from a collection I began more than a year ago decoupaging famous artists works. Artists such as Mucha, Waterhouse and Bouguereau.
This bracelet was made then.
Its listing expired from my past jewelry shop (here at etsy) and I didn't bother to relist.
Finally, I'm adding this piece to the Peacock Tres Chic collection of works.
This Victorian bracelet features work by John Williams Waterhouse. The work is "Girl with Flowers". It is simply a cameo of her lovely face set with a little rhinestone.

The detail you see in the chain is a chainmaille technique called a "Byznatine Weave", hence its opulent appearance.
The wire is a rich brown color deeper than a copper. The beads used are Czech glass.

The bracelet measure 7.5" (19cm) long and can be adjusted upon request at no extra fee.

The fluid motions of this piece begin with its completely organic composition.
Stepping away from the easy life of manufactured parts everything on this piece was wrought by yours truly (aside from the lock, tag and beads... maybe someday. I know! I have no excuse not understanding how to make an "S" hook).
It was more a theme I was trying to continue in using the natural and semi-precious stones.
I used all copper metal in colors burgundy, antiqued copper and gunmetal.
Dropping from the hoop pendant: the stone used is a very subtly hued Botswana Agate. The bright rounds used throughout the chain are dyed Jade.
Some Czech and Swarovski elements have been used throughout this piece to accent and highlight the beauty of its natural features.

A tribute to Mucha... as I've been known to do... and also with Waterhouse. Two greats of the late 19th/early 20th century. Because we all love Victorian England, la Belle Epoque and the Europe of that time. Pfft! in fact, when don't we love Europe?

A antiqued silver, art nouveau button of a woman in the wind has been carefully placed on a decorative, ivory ribbon. A satin, black ribbon has been gently laced through the larger of the two forming a sort of Pisces pattern; just so this piece could have a little more substance.
The decoration in the center is then finished by a delicate drop of a jet black 6mm bicone swarovski crystal stacked on top of an AB tear drop swarovski crystal.

This piece is 12 1/2" in length (it fits as a collar) with 2" more for adjusting. It closes with a lobster claw clasp.
We can resize this for free if needs be.
