This is tongue in cheek nod to the ladies who just like show what their mama gave them. It comes in a tennis racket that I believe is from the 60s with a hanger on the back so you can easily just put it up. The work is a charcoal watercolor. This is yet another of my creepy dream paintings. The woman was wide awake and had been left for a few moments by her captors to go get some thing else when I found her in a dark horrible compound of some sort. She was still alive and her heart was beating but bright blue and I could not get the restraints off of her. She told me where they had her child and I left her like that because they were coming back so I could go rescue the baby. This was just a dream but I found interesting how she only had blue as a real color to her. This comes as a 9x12 inch painting on paint paper. It is glazed for durablity. This painting has one other mystery to it. The back of the paper has been painted with a second picture it could be any thing and you only find out when you recieve your painting. I like to think of it as a mystery painting. This painting will be reproduced in a limited editon of 25 prints.

This is a 9x11 painting inspired a dream and the holidays. I dreamed of a large store filled will doll houses. The Christmas song Santa Clause is coming to town. I looked in the little lighted windows of the doll houses and some had cute things like little familys ect. Then there was this one. A person was sleeping with little gnomes or elves walking all over their face removing the eyeballs from the sockets. They were tossing them in little rope sacks and marching off with them. The weirdest part beyond the background music was that the person was grinning from ear to ear over the situation. Now some thing about it cracks me up so I wanted to share. This may be reproduced in a limited editon of 10 prints.

This is a 9x11 inch painting of a dream. I think it morphed from a short story I was working on and got more interesting in my dream. The dream was of a island that was filled with real and completly unreal beings such as the animated pirate teddy bear seen in the picture. In any case the Princess demon of hair was floating, running and just showing up all over the island trying to cut off and some times cut up people for their hair. The teddy bear was trying to escape but had issues with the water. This is the spot where I woke up. She had claimed another victim and the bear had been injured. This may be reproduced in a set of 10 prints.

This is a abstract assemblage ment to depict the emotions and efforts that go into creation of any sort. I kept interesting and disctinct peices of paint that dried from my works and after a couple of years formed a collage to tell the tale of my creative process. I laquerd them on onto a photoboard then attached it to some salvaged wood I painted black to let the focus be on the colors. This work tells the tale of many hours spent trying to birth things I love. I think it would be lovely for any one who creates and makes a pretty wall art peice. These are two old wooden bowls from a set I found and broke into pairs of two. Each one is about 6 inches in diameter but please write me to ask before purchase if you need exacts. They have layer upon layer of stains, glazes, paints and laquers all over them. The wood has some cracks that give it a awesome look. They come as a set and took about a week of layering to get their effects. They are not for food because of the wood glaze. This is a fun and totally upcycled item. I love to give ne life to things that would of ended up in a landfill. This was one of those things that gave me that opportunity. I Had a set of beaded napkin rings that I lost the rest of. I also had some jewelry wire and a vintage clasp in my junk drawer. Well once I got to work I realized how much fun I was having and that I had made the first strand extra long.
Then I thought hmm why not make the whole thing plus sized you could always make it smaller if you so desired. This bracelet has all wood beads and 7 strings of them. So the length is about 9 inches.
The clasp where the beads hook on had a little damage but that did not make it unusable. I just hooked 2 strings of bead onto one end.
I also had so much fun making this on my sisters suggestion look for more plus sized jewelry from me :)

This is a fun little item. I made it from a cavas that I painted blue. Some foam letters, a wooden dinosaur and some rubbing mettalic. Then glazed the whole thing. This is a very simple item meant to remind us our faith is ours. Be it what ever you like from christian to muslim to pagan and so on. That we are not bound by the laws of science in faith nor do we need to deny science to embrace faith.
To me this item is while very child like very deep in the notion that we don't have to chose.

These are just fun little aceo or 2&1/2 by 3&1/2 inch sized cards. I make them our of heavy heavy stock and paint the back grounds. You get a nice wallet sized bit of humor to keep you on your diet. When I was working on giving up soda this idea came to me and my sister and I still carry one and giggle every time we see it. What a fun little thing to have. It is a version of the "God Grant Me" prayer that I slightly altered. I am putting up a image of one I recently made but colors vary so it could be any back ground. He was reading and stopping every once in a while to nuzzle her. She had a ipod she was listening to. This is just a celebration of that innocent love and affection that comes with first loves. This is a upcyled box that had a former life as a candy box.
The photo on the top is from a original watercolor of roses I did. I the put a turtle patter paper on the bottom of the box and red glittered all the sides. I brushed a red paint on the inside over a gold letting the texture of gold poking threw stay. Then I filled the inside with little roses and put in a square of quality for you to give your loved one a message. This box is been glazed with a few bits of glitter over the picture just for texture and for protection of the box as a whole. The size of the box is 3&3/4 inch by 4&1/4inch aproximently.

This is a handmade Paper mache type process heart. Painted in a rich red. Left on the back you can barely make out a bit of print showing which I love because it shows it is made of recycled items. The heart has a lovely little scrolling around the edges in black and then a black center surrounded by a gold glitter with a earring peice being reused to make the bauble in the middle. Then it was rubbed down with several mettalic highlights to softly catch your eye and glazed. It has hanging hooks so it can go on a wall or sit out on it's own. I have used raffia to hang it but you could easily change that to what ever you want to use. to me this exudes all thing romance. the size is aproximently 8x7 and maybe 3-4inches in depth.

This is a upcycled gift box because I hated to waste a pretty little item like this. It has a red croc pattern on most of it and a little clay dough flow dish on top. the little dish is also red hold 3 tiny faux burgandy red roses. nestled amongst them is a set of vintage black bead clip on earrings like tiny black flowers. all the flowers and the earring are adhered in very nicely so they wont fall out. The box is 2 inches high and 3&1/2 x 3 &1/2 wide. Glaze has been applied to every thing to protect it. This box to me is perfect for a romantic gift giving maybe to put a wedding ring box in or a set of keys to move in together. or simply for a lovely gift that requires a small package.

She clutches her chest in agony at the loss of her love. She has ran herself to some place of isolation where the winds are pulling change all around her. While she is sad her face has ever the faintest smile as she thinks of the loss. She is as addicted to the love as to the pain of loss. This was inspired by a song from Rachael Sage called

I had bits of this painting in a dream before but finally got it very clearly the other day. I dreamed of running threw a park to a street light in the distance. There were storm clouds swirling heavy and some thing big and wet far to big to be rain drops was falling upon the ground. As I got to the street light I could see illuminated stood this woman with little curls falling just one per side out of her hair. Then I realized the things flopping to the ground were tons of human hearts all wet like with blood but black.
So I set to painting her face as I could not make out her clothing. I also painted it with the traditional love heart not the human heart but may do another version. When I woke up I was hearing the words in my head "she just stood there while the sky was raining black hearts".
This comes on a heavy paint paper and is glazed. It is sized 9x12 inches

This is a Assemblage that while it looks dark is to me all about letting go of that oh woe is me outlook. this peice is to remind us not to romantize how much a romance means to us. That it is fine to be in and all of that business but dont give away who you are. Dont romantize the symbolic death of your self should someone else choose to go away. She is my reminder not to be that woman. the peiece messures 14x20 but thats aproximent. It is mostly backed by solid wood so while very sturdy it will require a stud to hang as well is very heavy. the piece has all kinds of doo dads on it that i've come across a small mirror, a envelope with a letter you can leave or take out and replace with your own "why I dont want to be this girl" letter ect. I also hand engraved the heart in the corner on it. Hope you enjoy it truly is a one of a kind.

This came from a dream where these children had stolen this doll from me which is odd as I dont collect them. The kids all seemed to be worshipping the doll. None had eyes and they all had cracks and wounds on their skin. So this of course had to be painted for all to share my creepyness. I leave my tree out as a offering to the birds and I cover it with treats for them. most often once it is out there for the birds I never really look at it again. seeing it covered in the snow and shadows it looked so beautiful that I had to take a picture. Well I found this vintage Funeral Signature book and hatched this comical idea. I kept it just as I found it in a lovely vintage state. Then I added only one thing A painting in the front of a bride and groom silhouette. I think this would just be a riot to put out as your guest book for a wedding. It looks like it could be any old lame traditional book then you open it up and see the Mortuary information inside. Better yet your guest sign where it says Sympathy. This book does have a few stains here and there feel free to contact me if you want close ups. The most noticable is a light pinkish streak on the cover. I did try to get it off but did not want to damage the cover.

So this is a painting from a dream. I saw this girl walk out of a cave. She sprouted wings and flew about a blue sky with tons of ravens. At one point she turned back and smiled at me as she took off. I like to think of her as the Godess Raven also known as Morrigan and many other names I am sure. This painting is acrylic on a panel. This is a oil/acrylic mixed with medium and thinner. I played with the colors and thickness so much that the print borders on translucent when held up to the light. It was done on a sketch paper because I love to try new ways of creating. The work will be glazed for durablity and is aproximently 9x12 inches in size. I just love her I dreamed of a woman crying against that sky and when I started to paint this beautiful sorrowful looking woman came on to the page.
