We love the neckline on this. The top was made by sewing panels of lace trim together. It’s super small, so can either be worn open with a tube top underneath, or if you can get it closed, you can wear it with nothing underneath. There is a nude lining to prevent transparency. There are pale sequins throughout and the flowers along the neck line have costume diamonds in the center.

Closes in the back with a hook and eye at waist and Velcro at the neck so it’s adjustable there.

Arnold Scaasi is best known for dressing first ladies and top tier socialites, and this dress is a perfect indicator of his classic aesthetic and impeccable tailoring. We shot the dress in each of our white balance settings to try to get the best color representation, but in case the color doesn’t look accurate on your screen, this is a truly balanced purple. It doesn’t have more hints of red or more hints of blue. It’s basically as purple as purple gets.

There is a hidden zipper down the back. It has subtly curved shoulderpads. It's made of a wonderfully smooth and drapey material with just enough structure to hold it's shape beautifully.

The ultimate bohemian sweater. We hope someone in the 60s was wearing this beauty with a beret at a café while reading revolutionary French texts. The stripes are black, red, cream and pale gray. The collar can be worn up as pictured, but will also relax down if you want it folded over. One really nice feature is the fitted cuffs under the wide cuffs. They are perfect for keeping cold air out. You can wear the cuff down or folded up.

This is a “Young America by Oleg Cassini” piece. It’s a junior size, but has plenty of room. It’s made with a super luxe silk velvet that is such high quality that you can’t see the texture on the surface the way you can with lesser quality velvets. It feels amazing to touch.

The buttons have been replaced or resewn with a red thread that we actually like quite a bit. We think it adds to the dandy look of the jacket.

Fully lined. The buttons at the wrists are missing, and the threads that held them there are showing. Not super noticeable down there, but they are visible. The price reflects this issue.

Gorgeous 1950s dress with GREEN FLORAL print M

The color and print of this dress makes us swoon. We love the romantic rose prints of the 50s. And this dress has such a unique waist detail too. The material is super smooth and silky, so it feels amazing on.

There was damage at the underarms, but we couldn’t pass this dress up, so the sleeves were removed, giving the top very deep arm holes. We like the way this gives the dress a more modern, edgy look. You’ll need to wear it with a tank, but we also like the idea of a super sexy black bra that just peeks out of the sides for a more “adventurous” look!

Plastic zipper down back. The front of the top has a very light mesh lining to add some structure, but the rest of the dress is unlined. There is some teany tiny fraying at the left shoulder, but nothing noticeable.

This would be the perfect wedding dress for the avant garde disco diva. It’s oozing with ruched draping. The rhinestone details at the shoulders and down the skirt keep the dress dangerously balanced on the line between classy and trashy. Think mob wife or Dynasty.
