This collage is done with paper and encaustic wax and measures 8" x 12." It is an unframed board. Encaustic wax is a mixture of beeswax and damar resin with pigment, and is thus more durable than just beeswax. To clean, simply wipe with a soft, dry cloth. This creates a transparency to the layers and emphasizes the details.
