The flowers featured on three of these cards were found in an old, handmade plant press that I got secondhand. Who pressed them, what occasion they were originally given for, or even how old these flowers were is unknown. Because the flowers were so fragile, this set is truly one of a kind, because the flowers disintegrated after only a handful of prints.

Three of the cards feature the pressed flower design, while three are printed with ash and oak leaves. After printing, each card was hand-stamped, with the words "thank you" in matching ink.

Each one of these cards is a one-of-a-kind monotype print; your recipient is sure to have never gotten one like it. Each one measures 4.25" by 5.5". They are blank inside and come with matching ivory envelopes, each of which has been stamped with the image of a small bird.

This 8" x 9" tote bag is 100% lightweight cotton, in a natural cream color.

The tote has been hand-printed on one side with the pattern of 7 small Ash leaves, each printed in a different color and covering all the colors of the rainbow. The design was created with real leaves, and water-based screen printing ink that has been heat-set for color fastness.

A great craft fair apron!

This 18" x 10" (not including ties) apron is made out of sturdy, natural colored canvas. The apron has two large pockets, and one small middle pocket for a pen or pencil.

Each side's pocket has been hand-printed with the design of two oak leaves, printed in black. This was created by stamping real leaves onto the fabric with water-based screen printing ink, and then heat-setting the design for color fastness.

I recommend hand washing in cold water.

The jellyfish exhibit at the New England Aquarium in Boston is one full of quiet and calm. I took a lot of photos that day, and this was the only one that really captured the feeling of the exhibit. Solitary, floating, and beautiful. Even though the blue of the tank was brilliant, I chose to make this a black and white, to keep the focus on the shape and movement of the jellyfish.

The car has been there for years, with grass growing up around and inside it, and as far as I could tell no one had visited it in ages, even for parts. It has just sat, quietly rusting and fading, developing the colors that really make this photo.

This delicate card was cut from a 100% original monotype print. The card is made with the pattern of Japanese Maple leaves and local grasses, which were captured with a printmaking process that used the real plants and translated their every detail and vein to your card.

Perfect for any occasion, this card is blank inside and ready for your sentiments.

This card is invitation sized (4.25" x 5.5"), made with ivory card stock, and comes with a matching envelope that has been stamped with a simple postage square.

Lightning Over Shagg Pond- 8x10 photograph

Ah, the power of Mother Nature! This photograph was captured on a wild summer night in Maine. The setting is Shagg Pond, in rural Oxford County. I took over 100 photos during this storm, and this was by far the best; capturing a bolt of lightning actually forming a loop as it connects from sky to mountain. Lightning Over Shagg Pond is currently shown on the State of Maine's official website, along with other winners of the Summer 2009 Photo Contest.

The photo is printed on Kodak Supra Endura Paper, by a professional lab, and is archival quality. Available finishes are matte, glossy, lustre, or metallic- please specify in "message to seller" which finish you prefer. If none is selected, my usual default is lustre, which is a nice happy medium between glossy and matte. The photo will be signed on the back.
