Pressed Flower Thank You Cards- set of 6

$14.95
The flowers featured on three of these cards were found in an old, handmade plant press that I got secondhand. Who pressed them, what occasion they were originally given for, or even how old these flowers were is unknown. Because the flowers were so fragile, this set is truly one of a kind, because the flowers disintegrated after only a handful of prints.

Three of the cards feature the pressed flower design, while three are printed with ash and oak leaves. After printing, each card was hand-stamped, with the words "thank you" in matching ink.

Each one of these cards is a one-of-a-kind monotype print; your recipient is sure to have never gotten one like it. Each one measures 4.25" by 5.5". They are blank inside and come with matching ivory envelopes, each of which has been stamped with the image of a small bird.

(bird stamp and card back stamp each made by asspocketproductions.etsy.com )

Cookbook Bookmark Gift Set- Set of 7 (one for each day of the week)

$14.95
I LOVE trying new recipes. There are many weeks that I plan my grocery shopping list with a cookbook in my lap, marking off new recipes I want to try for dinners that week. This little gift set was invented one morning doing just that. I was scrambling through my cookbook for ideas, and finding recipe after recipe that I’d marked and forgotten about. I decided I needed a gentle reminder.

Here is a bookmark for each day, to help you find the recipe you’re looking for, and to remind you of the meals you’d planned that week. This is also great around the holidays when you know you need to bake that bread and those pies a day or two in advance!

This set of 7 bookmarks was cut from a 100% original monotype print, using a printmaking process that utilized real plants to create the patterns. The bookmarks each measure approx. 5.5” x 1.75” and each is topped with a simple black ribbon. They are double sided; one side is a beautiful blue and pink pattern, and the other is a brilliant orange, yellow, and pink pattern.

The set comes with a complimentary bookplate for your cookbook.
Think again!

This set of three small monotype prints is called the "Grunge" series, because each one is messy, busy, and splattered in color.

Deep reds and pinks are a theme in this set, with designs made from a sunburst handmade stencil, a sumac tree branch, and other local plant life.

Each magnet is signed and dated on the back. Each is a small example of a printmaking technique that allows me to use real plants and pick up their designs in great detail. Affixed to the back are two magnetic strips, so you can hang these prints on your fridge and use them to hold up all those important concert tickets, A+ papers, or toddler scribbles.

Each of the 6 included envelopes is ivory colored and stamped with a small flower, and a postage stamp square.

*Please keep in mind that computer monitors vary, and the color of these cards may be slightly different than what your screen shows.

I took a lot of photos that day, and this was the only one that really captured the feeling of the exhibit. Solitary, floating, and beautiful. Even though the blue of the tank was brilliant, I chose to make this a black and white, to keep the focus on the shape and movement of the jellyfish.
If you would like to see a color version, please convo me.

This photo is printed on Kodak Endura Metallic Paper, by a professional lab, and is archival quality. The car has been there for years, with grass growing up around and inside it, and as far as I could tell no one had visited it in ages, even for parts. It has just sat, quietly rusting and fading, developing the colors that really make this photo.

This photo is printed on Kodak Endura Metallic Paper, by a professional lab, and is archival quality.
Cookbook Bookmark Gift Set- Set of 7 (one for each day of the week)

They are double sided; one side is green and orange printed with roadside grass and poplar leaves, and the other is a beautiful green and blue printed with elm leaves.

The set comes with a complimentary bookplate for your cookbook.

Think again!

This original monotype print is a functional piece of art, perfect for your fridge, filing cabinet, or desk. This print, titled "Unknown Flower #3" is signed and dated on the back. It is a small example of a printmaking technique that allows me to use real plants and pick up their designs in great detail. Affixed to the back are two magnetic strips, so you can hang this print on your fridge and use it to hold up all those important concert tickets, A+ papers, or toddler scribbles.

This particular print is a dusky background with a slight shimmer (due to gold ink mixed in during printing), and overlaid with a deep blue design of a little flower I picked outside an art gallery in Lewiston, Maine.

First Footprints- Baby Shower Invites or Baby Announcements- Set of 6

They are elegant enough for those whose style might not be pink storks and blue baby rattles, but with the whimsical touch of a pair of baby footprints, appropriate to your momentous occasion.

This set of 6 handmade invitations is hand-printed with blue and gold inks and the pattern of falling maple leaves. Each card has been stamped with the word "baby", and I've hand-punched the shape of two cute little baby footprints into each card.

The cards are made from ivory colored card stock, and come with 6 ivory colored envelopes. Each card measures 4.25" x 5.5". Each card is made from an original monotype print, so each one varies somewhat from the others. The set comes with 6 matching ivory envelopes that have each been stamped with a postage box and on the back a circular "seal" announcing "new arrival"

Think again!

This original monotype print is a functional piece of art, perfect for your fridge, filing cabinet, or desk. This print, titled "Unknown Flower #1" is signed and dated on the back. It is a small example of a printmaking technique that allows me to use real plants and pick up their designs in great detail. Affixed to the back are two magnetic strips, so you can hang this print on your fridge and use it to hold up all those important concert tickets, A+ papers, or toddler scribbles.

This particular print is a dusky background with a slight shimmer (due to gold ink mixed in during printing), and overlaid with a deep red design of sumac leaves, and white void left by a little flower I picked outside an art gallery in Lewiston, Maine.

Lightning Over Shagg Pond- 8x10 photograph

$30.00
Ah, the power of Mother Nature! This photograph was captured on a wild summer night in Maine. The setting is Shagg Pond, in rural Oxford County. I took over 100 photos during this storm, and this was by far the best; capturing a bolt of lightning actually forming a loop as it connects from sky to mountain. Lightning Over Shagg Pond is currently shown on the State of Maine's official website, along with other winners of the Summer 2009 Photo Contest.

The photo is printed on Kodak Supra Endura Paper, by a professional lab, and is archival quality. Available finishes are matte, glossy, lustre, or metallic- please specify in "message to seller" which finish you prefer. If none is selected, my usual default is lustre, which is a nice happy medium between glossy and matte. The photo will be signed on the back.

(actual print will be free of copyright symbol/watermark)
