For those who work with stones, rocks, gems and minerals for healing and spiritual metaphysical uses comes this necklace pendant charm of citrine gem stone, securely wrapped in sterling silver wire.

True citrine is colored organically in nature by hydrocarbons. The color is usually a pale "beer" color. There have been some more brightly colored specimens found, but these would be museum specimens and not generally available, as well as extremely expensive. Even the more obtainable, paler colored varieties are elusive, a bit expensive, and quite difficult to obtain. Many websites refer to "real" citrine as just the amethyst that was heated by natural means. This is NOT the type of citrine we Hooten's are referring to when we recommend the use of any citrine. This is not to say that we consider the burnt type "bad"......it is simply of no interest to us because it does not have the purifying qualities of the true citrine.

*CITRINE: "It is one of the two minerals on the planet which does not hold and accumulate negative energy, [the other being kayanite, BTW] but dissipates and transmutes it, working out problems on both the physical and subtle levels. Citrine has, for centuries, been touted as the Merchant's Stone because it is said to bring wealth and prosperity to those who sell items, or "merchant" goods. It is also said to be healing both physically and emotionally, as well as protective.

Gems stones deemed as genuine will be natural, unenhanced stones provided from reputable resources, or otherwise clearly stated. The citrine in this listing is REAL genuine citrine and not the heat treated variety sold most often today. My current gems stones have been in my collection for some time. I cannot tell you the actual grade or weight of this gemstone, but the main stone is Fine in quality. The color and clarity of the stone is wonderful!

All natural, unique OOAK pendant, hand crafted by artist Tree Pruitt (shop owner).

This is an actual fossilized portion of a creature, carefully hand cleaned. A well articulated half brachiopod shell, most likely from the Pennsylvanian Period (320-286 million years ago), makes an attractive necklace pendant in soft gray tones. The limestone and shale fossil is mounted in a copper wire wrapped setting, filled with the magic of the spiral. This art jewelry pendant will fit most chains and cords.

Being a fossil, this stone is a link to ancient knowledge; the Akashic Record. This type of stone is said to speed up the process of absorbing knowledge from the Akashic realm into oneself. Fossils in general, from a metaphysical understanding, may bring quality & excellence into ones surroundings. It may raise the level of, and add to ones achievements in the business world. No jewelry should be worn while sleeping or bathing, but natural copper, especially, will not wear well under such conditions. If you know your body has a tendency to quickly "green up" or oxidize copper, then don't wear this pendant directly against the skin; hanging outside the clothing will prevent skin discoloration while still offering the health and metaphysical benefits of this metal. This is an actual fossilized portion of a creature, carefully hand cleaned. An articulated half brachiopod shell, most likely from the Pennsylvanian Period (320-286 million years ago), makes an attractive necklace pendant in soft gray tones with a very mild gold sheen finish. The limestone and shale fossil is mounted in a copper wire wrapped setting, perfect for both men and ladies (unisex). This art jewelry pendant will fit most chains and cords. Add to a medicine bag or walking stick, wear as a pendant alone, or add to your own jewelry creation!

A hand made, primitive Native American style necklace made from a Pacific Ocean sea shell fragment. This may also be used as an ankle boot bangle or arm strap. The naturally holed shell is laced onto a supple leather thong strap with two jewel like blue genuine vintage (pre-1960's) glass Native American Crow Trade Beads. The simple beauty of nature! A tied square knot holds a necklace like this in place until the wearer decides to take it off; no clasp. Great for both men and ladies. Tie off closure makes it some what adjustable in length, though this is meant to be worn snug like a choker. Shell is about 1 1/2" and warm red/orange in color; richer than photo shows. The whole piece is 23" in length total.

A lovely mystical Asian influenced jewelry set with matching earrings and 20" necklace. Earrings include backing stoppers in clear as shown, and are 1 1/2" long by about 1/2" wide. This piece catches the light and throws it back in fire like sparks that just cannot be captured fully in photos.

* Grade AAA (finest) faceted genuine labradorite beads,
* Grade A genuine labradorite 1" gemstone round doughnut,
* Grade A genuine amazonite 4mm round gemstone beads,
* Premium quality faceted fire-polished glass beads from the Czech Republic (made in small quantities by hand),
* 14 kt gold-filled seamless round beads, (unlike gold-plated beads, gold-filled beads avoid chipping and scratching, and last longer), plus clasp and ear wires.

*About Czech Glass: Many of the jewelry pieces I create use premium quality glass beads from the Czech Republic. They are made in small quantities by hand. Glass beads have been produced around the world for over 9,000 years, and the Bohemian glass heritage goes as far back as the 14th century. The jewel like glass beads from the Czech Republic, previously known as Bohemia, are famous for their clarity and richness of color. Praised by jewelry designers for their versatility, high quality and tremendous variety in colors, sizes, shapes, and finishes. I often work to find vintage or antique lots of Czech Glass beads to use in my own jewelry.
* SEMI-PRECIOUS BEADS: Most beads used are Grade B through AAA. Grading values vary with the type of gem; for example a Grade B rose quartz could be a lovely stone product, but a Grade B ruby would be better used in astrology or metaphysics rather than jewelry, per say. Grade A gems are untreated, have best quality lustre, very fine clarity, very good color, and are generally very costly. The transparency level and color of B Grade gemstones is generally good but not as good as Grade A. Though they are less costly than Grade A, a Grade B gemstone bead can be just as lovely. Lower graded stones are are reserved for specimen collection, for astrological use, metaphysical or spell use, and rarely used in jewelry items unless there are interesting artful inclusions, (so called flaws).
It is my practice to disclose all enhancements to gem stones, and methods used if known, as required by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Gems stones deemed as genuine will be natural, unenhanced stones or otherwise clearly stated. The style pretends it is an ancient treasure from the past, a metaphysical amulet. This is a one of a kind (OOAK) art jewelry pendant that may be left to aquire patina with time or be gently cleaned to keep the high shine shown. This piece has no clasp, but ties on the neck at a chosen length (adjustable at twenty six inches long end to end).

True citrine is colored organically in nature by hydrocarbons. The color is usually a pale "beer" color. They are commonly know as ACEO (Art Cards, Editions & Originals) as well as ATC (Artist Trading Cards). ATCs are only traded between artists, ACEOs are normally purchased. They can be original artwork or prints/reproductions of original artwork. These cards are bought, sold and traded all over the world! The official standard size of an art card is 2.5" x 3.5" (64 x 89 mm). ACEO's make excellent contemporary framed wall art with over sized matting.

The style pretends it is an ancient treasure from the past, a metaphysical amulet. This is a one of a kind (OOAK) art jewelry pendant that may be left to acquire patina with time, or be gently cleaned to keep the high shine shown. The copper surface has been left in a natural state, though it can easily be shined with baking soda or Barkeepers Friend powder on a moist cotton swab. Clean after wear with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. No jewelry should be worn while sleeping or bathing, but natural copper, especially, will not wear well under such conditions. If you know your body has a tendency to quickly "green up" or oxidize copper, then don't wear this pendant directly against the skin; hanging outside the clothing will prevent skin discoloration while still offering the health and metaphysical benefits of this metal. Anti-tarnish strips are helpful for storage, but with good general sense your hand crafted jewelry should last for many years to come. * Always spray hairspray, perfume, or body spray BEFORE putting on any jewelry, to avoid build-up and damage.
