This piece is made of stoneware, a handy way to store your wooden spoons and utensils on your countertop. It is handstamped with homemade clay stamps and the yellow glaze breaks a darker brown over the stamped area giving them distinction.

Waterford Maine is stamped into the bottom back part of the crock.

Dimensions are 6" wide by 6 1/4" tall.

This is one of my best sellers in the pottery shop and is very popular with my customers for it's function and ergonomic handle.

This bowl is a great size for mixing large batches of pancake batter, brownies, or cake mixes. The handle is on a horizontal curve which fits the hand and makes it easier to pour as there is no torque on the wrist, such as there is with a vertical handle. This bowl has a base glaze of creamy white with iron speckles and 3 colors splashed on-red, green, and black, creating a bowl that is bold in color and will brighten any kitchen. The size is 8" wide by 5" tall. I am also listing a medium sized batter bowl in the same color combination and the two would make a nice pair.

The glazes are food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe. I have baked beans and macaroni and cheese in my batter bowls by putting them into a cold oven and heating bowl, food, and oven together.
